Athena
Help Athena get Surgery — WI
WI
My sophomore year of high school I was surprised with my best friend. I got her at eight weeks old and got to see her girl into her teenage crazy years while I was in mine. Athena is such a baby and drama queen she will most definitely tell us if she’s hungry thirsty or if there’s a piece of food stock somewhere where she can’t reach. I’ve been told she’s my twin. I believe she’s my twin flame. She became academic due to some internal bleeding. The doctors did an ultrasound and found something obstructing not too long ago she was prescribed anti-inflammatories which they believed also caused irritation in her G.I. track. After the ultrasound they decided that she needs surgery and has to be hospitalized. My dog is my firstborn child, she quite literally is like a shot of espresso because she is such a crackhead. She always keeps me all my toes and never fails to turn my frown upside down. She has quite literally tried to lick my tears off of my face. She is such a a ray of sunshine and brings joy to everyone, even if she’s been barking /whining for our straight. unfortunately, as a college student, I have so many financial burdens and as much shifts as I pick up, it’s still not enough to help pay for my best friends bills

Riley
Riley is a 10 year old Mix-Breed in New Berlin, WI, who needs $9,685 for Thyroidectomy & Lymph Node Removal.
New Berlin, WI
Riley came into our lives 10½ years ago when her grandpa Frank, of blessed memory, asked for a puppy. We went to the WI Humane Society and came home with Riley, a new family member who became his best friend. Her daddy named her after the character from Inside Out, and it fits her perfectly. She shares her sweet love with Mom, Dad, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, 3 cat siblings, and family. We love Riley! Riley has a large thyroid carcinoma that is invading her jugular vein and pressing on her esophagus, making it harder for her to breathe. We have been treating her with Palladia, but it is not working as hoped. Her surgeon has recommended surgery soon to remove the tumor. We are praying this gives Riley more time to keep sharing her love with all of us. Riley loves being outside in her fenced-in yard, especially on her Chase Lounge chair. When her brother is outside, she is right there with him. She loves taking walks with her daddy, auntie, and 2 fur-cousins. Riley’s love is contagious, and she has so much more life and love to share with all of us. Asking for help is not easy for us. Personal health issues have made it difficult for us to work, and we are struggling to come up with the money Riley needs for her surgery. We love our sweet girl so much and want to give her the chance to keep enjoying life!
