Dakota

Dakota is a 6 month old Rottweiler in Mount Forest, ON, who needs $2,000 for ACL Repair.

MOUNT FOREST

My name is Dakota. My father is a purebred rottweiler that my loving humans rescued from a local farm, in a very abusive and neglectful situation. My wonderful humans even rescued and rehomed my aunt's and grandparents! Unfortunately, time was not on our side, and my dad got a little too friendly with my rottsky mother. I had 2 brothers and a sister that also went to great homes! While living with my father and mother, I get to be a handful sometimes. It's always play time! I sometimes get to be a little too crazy, and which is how I hurt myself. While playing with mom and dad, I had jumped and turned. When landing I hurt my poor leg and tore my ACL. I am a tough boy but I want to get back to playing on all 4 legs with mom and dad. I hate not being able to play and limping I am a very loving boy! I spend a lot of time cuddling with my mother and father, but I also know when my humans need love too! I am always quick to greet people coming in the door, but I can also be a little stubborn at times. My humans also have 2 small humans that I love to play with, and the one human is a bit smaller than I am. She can be quite crazy, just like me! I can't wait to play again! Unfortunately due to a nasty custody battle that has been ongoing for 7+ years now, I have been diagnosed with severe anxiety and depression. This makes daily tasks very difficult! My dogs are my life, and probably the only reason I'm still alive.

Stryder

Stryder is a 3 year old American Longhair in stafford, VA, who needs $1,735 for ICU Care and Hospitalization Plus Sonogram.

stafford, VA

Stryder was rescued from an abandoned toilet bowl. He’s been our loving rock, standing by our family through my husband’s army days and our transition to civilian life. He's helped my son during medical emergencies and comforts us through tough moments, especially after losing their grandfather. Named after "Strider" from LOTR, Stryder is family, a loving support to us and his partner Serena. Stryder, at MedVet Northern Virginia, faced a life-threatening urinary blockage. His potassium levels remain dangerously high, and he urgently needs a sonogram and extended care. We need approval for treatment right away—time is critical. He’s our best friend and our family’s emotional rock. Please help us bring our sweet Stryder home, safe and healthy. Stryder is a sweetheart who never leaves my side. He was a comforting presence for our son during medical challenges and makes us laugh with his goofy Scooby-Doo run. He loves watching fall leaves from the patio, cuddling, and even sleeping on my keyboard for attention. He’s always there when we need a smile, a cuddle, or just his silly antics—he’s truly the heart of our family. Unfortunately, Stryder's vet bills have increased rapidly and continue to grow, making it difficult to manage. He’s not just a pet; he’s family, and his absence weighs heavily on our kids after losing someone dear. Having Stryder healthy again would mean everything—bringing

Taffy

Taffy is a 9 month old Mix-Breed in Fort Myers, FL, who needs $2,000 for Surgery to Repair Double Fracture Front Leg.

Fort Myers, FL • Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue, Inc

🆘💔INJURED PUP FOUND HIDING UNDER CAR💔🆘 This sweet as sugar stray baby was found injured hiding under a car in Hialeah, FL. She struggles to walk and urinate and her belly is huge. Finder believes she may have been beaten. She is very young, maybe 9-10 months old, and despite her suffering she still manages a little tail wag. She has been through so much pain and neglect in her young life. She was rushed over to Town and County Animal Hospital in Miami over the weekend and had emergency surgery to repair a double fracture in her front leg - we were given an estimate of $4K for JUST for the surgery. The extreme bloat in her belly is believed to be because she is full of parasites draining her of any nutrients. This means she has been neglected for most, if not all, of her life. Taffy has known only neglect and pain at the hands of humans, but is sweet, loving and trusting regardless. She has won over the hearts of the vet staff and everyone who has met her. We will heal her body and soul and make sure she finds a loving forever home once she is healed, but she has a long way to go. Please help us help Taffy! We have taken on several major medical cases over the past few weeks that have depleted our emergency medical funds, but no one else was helping Taffy & we couldn't bear to leave her in that pain. Please help us by donating. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) animal rescue!
