I met Kaze in 2019 when he was just six months old — a big, fluffy bear of a standard poodle from a breeder in Virginia. I’ll never forget seeing him for the first time — standing on the steps, all fur and love, the biggest pup in his litter and already larger than life. I got him with the dream of training him as my service dog — and for two years, I did it all myself. Last week, everything changed. Kaze ran into a car late at night while I was letting him out. He didn’t get hit head-on, but the tire caught his paw and likely hurt his back leg. He’s limping badly and in pain, but I can’t afford the $350 just to get him seen for x-rays. Full treatment could reach $1,400–$2,000 — something I simply can’t manage right now on a fixed income with four kids and bills Through bus drivers passing us by, Uber denials, and freezing nights waiting with my kids, Kaze never once left my side. He learned how to calm me through PTSD, help with mobility, and even comfort strangers who needed him. He’s my retired service dog now — but still my best friend, my family’s protector, and my heart on four legs. I can’t lose him. He’s been there for me through everything, and I owe it to him to get him out of pain and back to being his silly, loving self — “Mr. Steal Your Girl,” as we call him, because he melts every heart he meets.

When I rescued my dog, Wolfgang, I was in one of the darkest places of my life. I had just come out of a painful divorce and an abusive situation that left scars deeper than I knew how to handle. Wolfgang had been through her own kind of suffering -people had been hanging her by her back legs. The day I brought her home, I think we both saved each other. My rescued dog, Wolfgang, has a displaced knee that requires a $3,200 surgery through Warren county Veterinary Clinic, which has cared for her since adoption. I believe her injury came from being mistreated before I rescued her. I’m seeking help to give her the pain-free, loving life she deserves. My dog, Wolfgang, is the heart of my family—friendly, social, and loved by everyone she meets. Sadly, her playful spirit has dimmed due to a painful knee injury. I’m raising funds to help her get the treatment she deserves so she can run, play, and be her happy self again. Any donation helps! Gunther is an 8-year-old German Shepherd and certified service dog. We live together in a duplex near Eugene, Oregon. Gunther is an essential part of my daily life and well-being. He is well-socialized, regularly sees the vet, and is deeply loved by both me and our broader support network of caregivers and friends. Gunther was rushed to emergency care on July 9th and diagnosed with GDV (bloat), a life-threatening condition. He was in shock and needed immediate surgery to survive. The procedure was performed at West Eugene Animal Hospital. He is now recovering, but the emergency bill has left us in serious financial hardship. Gunther is my service dog and best friend. He’s goofy, gentle, and incredibly loyal. He senses medical episodes before they happen and brings calm in the hardest moments. He loves everyone he meets and brings joy to my whole support network. He’s more than a pet—he’s family, and my daily lifeline. I live on a fixed disability income and had no way to prepare for this emergency. Shane

Shane is a 10 year old Mix-Breed in Moses lake, WA, who needs $2,000 for Mandible.

Shane is my 10 year old, surrounded by his canine relatives. His Mother, Itty Bitty, his Grandmother, Jazzmine, his brothers and sisters from separate litters and one neice. All my females are spayed. As of this writing, Shane had a sarcoma removed by Horse Heaven Hills on October 4th, 2024. It slowly regrew over 4 months as the cancer wasn't cut out completely. I went to Washington State University for three radiation treatments. The flesh is necrotic and I am hoping partial lower jaw removal will extend his comfort and life. Shane was a baby when I moved in 2015 to my current location. Shane is my middle child and represents my attempt at happiness. Shane is still active and as of this writing he doesn't desire euthanasia. Shane is on medications for pain and inflammation. Fixed income is why I desire compassion for Shane...he doesn't deserve this and I'm confident he will be thrilled to exist with a pain free mouth, to continue interacting with his furry family.

Simon has been my rock for 16 years. He came into my life during my husband’s deployments, when I was battling severe depression. He gave me purpose and comfort when I had none. Now in his senior years, he’s become a gentle companion to my grandchildren—still offering love, even as his health declines. I looked and looked for my perfect furry companion. I drove 3 hours to a breeder to find him. Simon has a painful tumor near his anus that’s affecting his quality of life. His discomfort is worsening, without treatment, it could become life-threatening. The team at Acredale Animal Hospital has advised medical intervention as soon as possible, but I can’t afford it on my limited SSDI income. My poor Simon. I can't imagine the pain he is enduring just trying to do normal doggie things. Simon isn’t just a dog—he’s been my emotional lifeline. Through years of depression, he never left my side. He now comforts my grandchildren with the same love. Even in pain, he tries to stay strong. Losing him without trying everything would be heartbreaking for all of us. I love my little Simon with everything I have and won't lose him with out doing everything I can. I’m living on a fixed SSDI income, and this unexpected emergency has left me helpless. My sister gave Rebel to me when he was 1 year old, she drove him from New Orleans. Few Months after I got Rebel, Hurricane Laura Hit Lake Charles, so Rebel and I flew to Colorado Springs. Ive had Rebel 5 years now. We've also lived in Oregon. We've been back in Lake Charles for 3 years now.. Rebel is my best friend, and i dont know what i would do without him. i feel so bad to see him in pain. Rebel has a Perianal Hernia. Its getting harder and harder for him to have bowel movements. i was told by the Vet, if not taken care of his bladder or other organs could protrude through, and can be deadly. Gill Bright Animal Hospital will perform the surgery Rebel is so smart. When he's hungry he flips his bowl until i pay attention, he brings his leash when he wants to walk. I taught him to whisper for treats. He loved the snow in Colorado, and was so good on the plane. My son Quinten is his favorite human, besides me. He loves our cat Willie Nelson and Our Chihuahua, Baby girl. He sleeps with me every night. I am a single woman, I am a server. I also have a few medical problems myself. The surgery will cost between $1,800.00 and $2,500.00. I do not have that kind of money at all. My prayers would be answered if Rebel could get this surgery. He is my best friend.

Isley is my 5 year old standard poodle. Anyone who knows me knows she is my hot mess express and my baby. I’ve had her since she was 9 weeks old and is the dog who pushed me onto my love of the breed. Isley broke her leg when she was 10 months old being a normal accident prone puppy. She has had 4 surgeries in her leg - she had a plate placed on to help the fracture, and then that was infected so it was removed. But her fracture wasn’t strong enough and broke again, so she got another plate - and the. 2 years later that got infected and we removed it. But the bone isn’t strong enough anymore Isley is a happy go lucky baby. Everyone who meets her falls in love with her. She is so smart, loves to run and play and go ham on toys and her favorite game is playing “tag” with her siblings. She loves coming to work with me and going out on the town, showing off her fabulous hairdo. While she is amputated and she would be fine, as most tripods are, I know keeping her joints and bones healthy as can be long term would mean investing in an orthopedic prosthetic for her continued health.

It's split open and she needs it removed as soon as possible. Her surgery is scheduled for Monday the 10th with the specialist at AVS in Daytona. The cost range is $3200 to $3800 & I need to put down a $2,700 deposit before the surgery and pay the remaining balance Iris is the center of our world.She's been the only female amongst her best friends and brothers. She's been raised by, with and raised a group of the best boys in the world. When she can't be with us, my parents and brother watch her. Every morning she goes straight to my brother's door for morning cuddles, comes out to have coffee with her grandma and gets a piece of breakfast from grandpa. Our hearts have ached a lot in 3 years. We lost 2 of Iris' brothers. 2 of the best boys she helped raise. I gave birth to a stillborn boy inbtwn those losses. Her Daddy was let go& I left my job after our loss.
