Robin

Robin is a 5 year old Mix-Breed in Crouse, NC, who needs $3,000 for TPLO Surgery.

Crouse, NC

A friend picked up a dog that had puppies. And I was not looking for one, but when my neice came in and said she dropped the puppy on her head and it was dead. I got scared. I checked her over and she was limp and lethargic and just ate up in fleas. So I took her to the vet immediately. Luckily no serious Injuries but she now has been in my pack of 4 dogs for 6 years since. Robin injured her leg a year ago in 2025 jumping off the porch. She limped for a week and after some rest was fine. Well March 2026 she came in from outside and was limping. I have no idea how but after 2 weeks I took her to the vet. They tried medicine and it didnt work so they referred her to Bedrock veterinary specialist. This new vet is now saying Robin has a torn ACL and needs a TPLO surgery Robin knows no stranger she loves everyone and everything. She goes with the flow and always wants to be near me. I never have to worry about her getting into anything or causing mischief she is the best girl. She unfortunately gets left out with the other dogs, but I make it up to her and spend one on one time to make her feel special. I am unfortunately living on disability and what I get from working two part time jobs. I am struggling just to keep my head above water, but I always try to do whats best for my dogs. This accident has really put me in a bind and need help to make my baby better again

Snowbelle

Snowbelle is a 14 year old Chihuahua in Aurora, OH, who needs $1,691 for Hospitalization Dental Procedure.

Aurora, OH

Snowbelle, has been a part of our family for fourteen years. She’s not just a pet, she’s a loving support for my autistic son and for me as a single parent battling melanoma skin cancer. Snowbelle’s loyalty shines every day; she insists on going everywhere we go, loves car rides, and finds joy in sitting in the sun. She lost her best friend and fellow chi chi Lola two years ago. Snowbelle developed a lump under her eye due to a dental fracture/abscess and we need funds for her antibiotics, anesthesia, and tooth removal surgery so she does not pass away from the infection. The hospital is Aurora veterinary clinic. Snowbelle is otherwise healthy and happy and can be with us for another several years. This is why we need your help! Snowbelle loves her family so much that years ago she escaped the house to chase the family car down the street! That shows how loyal and loving she really is. And although she has lost her sight, she insists on going in the car and accompanying us anywhere and everywhere we go. She still has the energy and personality of a puppy! She loves her little lamb squeaky toy the most (her baby). Husband unexpectedly left and Im a single parent battling cancer with an autistic son. Snowbelle is my sons best friend, and she deserves the care she gives us given back. She is our sweet pea. Financially there are so many medical bills and no safety net for this emergency

Alfredo

Meet Alfredo: Neglected and skin stained from urine. Please help this sweetie!

Harrisburg, PA • Castaway Critters, The James A. Hueholt Memorial Foundation for Animals

A few days ago, this little guy was posted as found in the city of Harrisburg. Nobody came forward as the owner, so he was given to someone else. Everyone thought he would have a lovely ending. Turns out, he was BACK on the page as found AGAIN. After Castaway Critters spoke with a few people, they learned that he was allegedly tied outside 24/7. And there is a cat that apparently belongs to the same owner and begs for food in the neighborhood. They are currently trying to find the kitty. Alfredo is severely matted down to the skin. They are unsure how he is even able to walk without being in pain. His rear end was matted shut. His ears were full of thick fuzzy mats, and because of that, he isn't able to hear. He is NOT neutered. He is coughing. If he was tied outside for a long time, he could have some trachea damage. He was also FILTHY, dehydrated, and was very scared. They immediately got him bathed and shaved, which put so much relief on his face. However, underneath those mats, they found even more sadness. His skin was actually stained from urine. Urine burns on his underside and inside of his legs. He felt like a sheep the way his curly fur turned into a mat. His fur was so matted that it actually wrapped around his genitals. When he peed, the mats were absorbing it and just laying on his skin. This is absolutely heartbreaking, and if you can help support Alfredo to overcome this horrible abuse and get the medical attention and love he needs, Castaway Critters would be so grateful. He did not deserve this type of neglect. Thank you for your continued support.

Thor

Thor is a 8 year old Great Dane in Las Vegas, NV, who needs $2,000 for Bloat- Stomach was Untwisted and Spleen Removed.

Las Vegas, NV

Thor, so named as he is a Dane, a Viking, and he has a white T on his chest, what else could he be named? He came from a private breeder in California chosen by us from a litter of 12- mother and grandfather were on the premises so we knew he would grow up to be a handsome boy looking at them! We have had him since he was 12 weeks old and he will be 8 at the end of January 2026. It was the worst start to New Years Day ever- Thor developed bloat so required immediate attention to untwist his stomach and remove his spleen also- Hearts Alive Village vets in Las Vegas operated on him immediately and thankfully he survived the surgery- we got him back 3 days later and he appears to have made a fine recovery from such a major surgery and we look forward to more years with him. He is a real character and I take him everywhere that dogs are allowed in restaurants and stores- he will just proudly stand there head held high and let everyone pet him, At home he lives with our 4 lbs rescue gray tabby Samantha who of course rules the roost! He is a typical good natured Dane who thinks he is a lap dog as you can see in some of my attached photos. I an 72 and retired although I do some part time work at a PetSmart as a dog trainer, a labor of love of course, My wife Diane is also retired so being on fixed incomes a hit for major surgery out the blue is very difficult financially so any help would be so appreciated.

Marlo

Marlo is a 4 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Menasha, WI, who needs $1,900 for Mass Removal.

Menasha, WI

My family was so incredibly blessed to have welcome a new family member 4 years to our lives. He was this little chubby stocky beautiful Brindle bundle of joy with high energy. Although he was originally a gift for my boyfriend it didn't take long for him to become a Mama's boy! He not only has became my emotional support animal, I became his emotional support human! We need each other! My baby boy has unfortunately fell victim to skin mass that is growing incredibly fast! As you can see in the pictures above, it started out the size of a quarter and now is the size of tennis ball within months! It has became extremely distracting and painful for him and he is constantly trying to scratch and itch it, which is causing it to bleed and scab. We are a family that truly accepts that our pets are true family members as well! He is extremely loved by not only our household but has became a true family member with our extended family as well! He is such a character and talker, he is so incredibly smart and I truly believe understands everything I say to him. But his endless cuddles are truly what made us all fall in love. My family has been recently blessed with the news of a little baby girl on her way to this world! We recently just moved into our new stable house, and are on a fixed income currently. We do not think its fair his needs should be pushed aside. We would appreciate anything!

Kobe

Kobe is a 10 year old Siberian Husky in Scranton, PA, who needs $2,000 for Surgical Removal of Benign Masses.

Scranton, PA

Our Kobe is a one in a million kind of dog. He’s a beautiful soul inside and out. We’ve had him since the moment he was born in my bedroom closet. He’s 100% AKC Siberian Husky with a red/white long-haired coat and 10 years old. He is still just as much a puppy at heart as he ever was! His favorite things are his snacks, playing with his kitty friends, and cuddling with everyone 💗 Kobe has been in pristine health until about 1 year ago two small masses started to appear near his rectal area and on his tail. His vet is Citywide Animal Clinic and has been evaluated by Valley Central Veterinary Surgical Center for a surgery to remove the masses. Just last night we made the sad discovery he now has Fly strike in the area. Kobe is a beloved member of our family and has grown up with my eldest son, being only one month apart in age, they are the best of friends. He is registered as my husband’s emotional support animal as well and completely irreplaceable in our eyes. He is a big fuzzy teddy bear in every sense of the definition. He loves all other animals and people and does not have a mean strand of DNA in his body I’ve already spent about $1300 in vet expenses. We have had a cut in our income earlier this year, had a baby, and moved cross-country. Kobe has declined so rapidly and our limiting finances are stealing his chance at enjoying many more healthy years with us he deserves.
