Archie

Archie is a 3-year-old Domestic Shorthair Tabby Cat in Bend, OR, who needs $2,000 for Perineal Urethrostomy.

Bend, OR

I fell in love with Archie as a kitten immediately upon meeting him. I met him as a feral kitty in a clinic in a room full of kittens and as a college student, did not plan on adopting. But I knew he was my soulmate as soon as he stepped on my lap. Archie was there for me throughout college, throughout the quarantine, and throughout my toughest times. Now we've moved the adventure to Oregon! Archie has always been my best friend since I got him. He is the biggest lover to everyone who comes over and loves to be a part of the conversation. He is a registered ESA and he wears that badge proudly by always greeting us home and coming to my aid when I'm down. I am Archie's person and I miss hearing him follow me around the house. My cat makes me smile he reaches up and asks me for forehead kisses. I also love the way he gets jealous anytime I give anyone else attention like my partner and that he loves to slow dance with me. My cat is also well trained, he does tricks for treats like lay down and roll over and he lets me trim his claws. Archie has been in the hospital for several days with repeated urinary blockage and is unable to pee and is in excruciating pain. The animal hospital has been extremely helpful in keeping him stable and comfy but his case developed complications. There is fluid leaking into his abdomen and a tear somewhere they're unsure of. Due to a recurring urinary issue he needs a PU surgery to be ok This emergency bill came very unexpected and with terrible timing after just moving and my partner being out of work for injury. I've already paid over $2000 in current vet bills to keep him stable but he needs this surgery to keep him alive and bring him home healthy

Chai

Chai is a 17 year old American Shorthair in Chicago, IL, who needs $2,500 for Comprehensive Oral Treatment.

Chicago, IL

Meet Chai. This sweet girl recently celebrated her 17th birthday! When Chai was a kitten, she was found on a farm in Iowa where she was stuck in a soy bean bag and brought to Chicago by a coworker's sister. I have taken care of Chai since she was just a few weeks old; she has spent her entire 17 years by my side. This farm turned city kitty lives with her two humans who love her very much. Chai is currently experiencing painful dental issues, most likely tooth resorption, and needs to undergo oral surgery to clean, extract, and examine her mouth to provide necessary relief in her golden years. She has already undergone a heavy round of antibiotics, but this only provides temporary relief. BLVD Cat will do the procedure 8/26/26 pending additional bloodwork to clear her for surgery. I may be a bit biased, but Chai is one special kitty. Her fur is a lovely diluted orange (only about 20% of orange cats are female!) and one of her pupils never fully developed and is always dilated. Because of this she kinda looks like an anime character o_O but that doesn't stop her from living her best life! She is a chatty and youthful 17 year old kitty who LOVES to play fetch! (see video!) Her procedure is estimated to cost $2,100 - $2,544; while I have already put down the 20% surgery deposit, this unexpected expense is more than we can cover. Things are hard for many right now, but if you are able, Chai and I would greatly appreciate your support. <3

Neonatal kittens

Two neonatal kittens rescued from a hoarding situation need round-the-clock care.

Washington, NC • Have A Heart Rescue

When the first call came in, it sounded like just one tiny kitten in trouble. Have a Heart rescued it from a hoarding situation where a man simply didn’t realize that his first cat needed to be spayed. Before long, one cat became many. Among them was a baby-faced mother—only six months old herself—who gave birth before she was even grown. She didn’t know how to care for her kittens. She wouldn’t nurse them. After they rescued the first neonatal kitten, they got another call about a second one. These fragile babies are now safe, but they require round-the-clock care—bottle feedings through the night, constant monitoring, warmth, and medical support to help them survive these critical first weeks of life. Soon, they will need vaccinations and, when they’re old enough, spay and neuter surgeries to ensure this cycle doesn’t continue. Their lives are just beginning, and they deserve more than to be born into overcrowding and neglect. We are asking for donations to help cover their formula, medical care, vaccinations, and future surgeries. Every dollar helps keep these tiny hearts beating and gives them a real chance at healthy, loving homes. If you’re able to help, your support truly makes the difference between survival and a second chance. 4/2/26 Update As you can see the babies are thriving! They are gaining weight and doing amazing. 4/5/26 Update: Kitten update Look at these babies the calico is now 9oz and little darker tabby is 10oz now they are 3 weeks old and doing so well. 4/23/26 Update: Update as you can see these two babies are doing amazing. Blossom

Only 2 Months Old & Already Fighting for A Second Chance—Join Blossom's Village ❤️

Fort Worth, TX • Spicy Whiskers Cat Rescue

Blossom is just a 2-month-old baby, barely 3 pounds, who was found struggling to walk on someone’s porch. After x-rays, we learned just how serious it is — she has a traumatic hernia and a fractured pelvis, with organs displaced and needing urgent surgical repair. And yet… she’s a total purr machine. Sweet, loving, and acting like nothing is wrong. We knew we couldn’t let her sit in the shelter all weekend without the care she desperately needs. So we said yes. Even knowing this is going to be a big, expensive medical case. Thankfully, we have an amazing medical foster ready for her. Blossom is safe now — but she has a long road ahead, including surgery and recovery. We need your help. Cases like this are why we exist, but they add up fast. If you can donate toward Blossom’s care, it would mean everything to this tiny girl who deserves a chance at a full, happy life. Thank you for always showing up when they need it most 💕🐱 3/31/26 Update: Blossom made it through surgery! Blossom update 🧡 This tiny girl has already been through more than most cats ever should—and she’s still fighting. Blossom had her first major surgery to repair not one, but two massive hernias. One was through her left sidewall near her hip, and another along her midline—creating two separate openings where her organs had shifted into places they should never be. Her surgery took over TWO hours. For a 2 lb kitten, that is a very long, very serious procedure. She now has both permanent and non-permanent sutures holding everything where it belongs and is on strict cage rest while she heals. Her foster mom is taking incredible care of her, and through it all, Blossom remains as sweet and loving as ever. But this is only the beginning. This first surgery alone was just under $3,200… and she still needs a second surgery to repair her pelvis. We may never know exactly what happened to her, but based on the extent of her injuries, it’s likely she was kicked. It’s hard to even process how someone could do this to such a tiny, innocent kitten. But what matters now is that she’s safe—and we are not giving up on her. We know we’ve asked for help recently, and we don’t take that lightly. But we truly have nowhere else to turn. The good news: we have a generous donor who is matching the first $800 donated. That means your donation goes twice as far right now. If you can help in any way—donate, share, anything at all—you are directly helping us give Blossom the life she deserves. She’s fighting. We’re fighting. We just need you with us 🧡 5/15/26 Update: Blossom is healing! Blossom update 🌸 We have the best news to share about our sweet girl, Blossom! She saw the amazing Dr. Lauren at Atlas Vet and got the all clear! Her incredibly challenging dual hernia surgery is healing beautifully, and her broken pelvis is also recovering exactly as we hoped. Watching her bounce back after everything she’s been through has been nothing short of amazing. She is truly a little fighter. We are so incredibly grateful for this community. Your support is the reason we’re able to say yes to kittens like Blossom when they need us most. 💕

Gizmo

Gizmo is a 6 year old Pomeranian in Webster, MA, who needs $10,000 for Emergency IMHA Evaluation and Treatment.

Webster, MA

Gizmo is a six-year-old Pomeranian born on Christmas Eve. He was added to our family as a companion for my nephew, who has since lost both of his parents. Gizmo was my sister’s baby, and after we lost her one year ago, he came to live with me, his Auntie. He is now part of our busy home with children and other pets. Less than two months ago, Gizmo suddenly developed life-threatening immune-mediated hemolytic anemia (IMHA). He spent a week at Tufts and needed two blood transfusions. He has remained in remission with continued medication and regular appointments, but he is now back at Tufts in emergency distress. This is an unexpected new crisis while he is still receiving ongoing care for IMHA. Gizmo is fun, playful, loving, and full of personality. He loves being with his family and brings happiness and energy wherever he goes. He was my sister’s baby and has always shared a special bond with my nephew, who has now lost both parents. Having Gizmo here keeps an important piece of her close to all of us. He is deeply loved and an irreplaceable part of our family. We are still paying for Gizmo’s hospital stay, transfusions, medication, and follow-up care. Now he needs emergency treatment again. After family losses and vet bills, our funds are exhausted. Help would give my sister’s baby the care he needs and a chance to come home.

Panama City Beach, FL

Babka is our beloved 5‑month‑old rescue kitten, a sweet and affectionate little bundle of joy. She lives at home with us and her sister Bigzy, who adores her. From the moment she joined our family, she has filled our home with warmth, playfulness, and constant companionship. Our precious Babka is critically ill and in ICU at Auburn University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. She is battling a severe case of FIP affecting her brain, heart, intestines, and vascular system. The disease has impacted her neurological and mobility functions. She is receiving intensive care including blood transfusions, plasma support, vasopressors, cardiac care, antiviral treatment, etc. The teams at Auburn esp Dr Nichols & Summer plus at Dr Norm’s have been extraordinary in their care. Babka is more than a pet, she’s our irreplaceable baby. Incredibly loving, seeking snuggles, attention, & closeness. Despite all, she’s miraculously holding on. While we’ve begun to see signs of improvement, there’s a long road ahead, we trust God will carry her through & complete this miracle. We love our Babka deeply & despite having insurance, the ER & ICU costs have escalated beyond what we could imagine. We’re doing everything possible to save her & place our trust in God to carry her through. Having Babka healthy & back home would mean everything to us.

Eli

Eli Needs Urgent Exploratory Surgery—Please Help!

Port Saint Lucie, FL • Three Stooges Rescue Inc

Eli was saved from the euthanasia list in Palm Beach County on January 23, 2024. Before rescue, he was abandoned when his family moved away, left behind with no one to fight for him. After being pulled to safety, a foster placement fell through, and Eli spent nearly a full year in boarding—watching other dogs leave for loving homes while he continued to wait. Despite everything, he never lost his gentle, hopeful spirit. About a year ago, Eli finally found stability in a committed foster home, where he has truly blossomed. He is housebroken, crate trained, a laid-back couch companion, and a goofy sunbather who simply wants to be near his people. He is the definition of resilient. Now, Eli is facing a life-threatening emergency. He began vomiting suddenly, and veterinary staff suspect a foreign body intestinal obstruction—an extremely dangerous condition that can quickly become fatal without immediate surgery. Eli is scheduled for emergency exploratory surgery. Intestinal blockages can worsen rapidly. Without surgery, toxins build up, tissue can die, and survival chances drop dramatically. Diagnostics and stabilization have already begun, but surgery, hospitalization, medications, and follow-up care will come at a significant cost. Three Stooges Rescue Inc. is currently under heavy financial strain, carrying over $10,000 in credit card debt from previous emergency surgeries, routine vetting, food, supplies, and preventatives for dogs in care. Eli’s emergency comes at a time when absorbing another major medical bill simply isn’t possible without support. Every donation—no matter the size—moves Eli one step closer to recovery. It gives him the chance to survive this emergency and continue his journey toward the forever home he has waited so long to find. Eli has already overcome abandonment and a year of waiting. He deserves the chance to overcome this, too. Please consider donating and sharing his story. Second chances save lives 3/27/26 Update During Eli’s emergency exploratory surgery, veterinarians discovered a large amount of grass in his stomach and intestines. It appears that Eli may have been trying to make himself vomit, which led to the dangerous blockage. While it’s difficult to determine exactly what triggered the behavior, his foster dad shared that toy time is always supervised, making this an unexpected and frightening situation. The most important thing is that the obstruction was successfully removed, and Eli is now recovering. He’s already starting to feel better, though he’s definitely not a fan of wearing the cone. Like many dogs, he’s a little frustrated with the restrictions, but it’s an important part of keeping his incision safe while he heals. Despite everything he’s been through — abandonment, a year in boarding, and now emergency surgery — Eli continues to show his resilient spirit. He’s resting comfortably, being closely monitored, and taking things one day at a time. Emergency surgery, hospitalization, medications, and follow-up care have created a significant financial burden for Three Stooges Rescue Inc., which was already managing existing veterinary debt. Eli’s life was saved, but the costs of his care remain. If you’re able, please consider making a donation to help offset Eli’s emergency medical expenses. Every contribution helps ensure he can continue healing and moves him one step closer to the forever home he’s waited so long to find 4/15/26 Update We’re so happy to share that Eli is continuing to do really well in his recovery! After everything he’s been through, it’s incredible to see him settling back into comfort and love in his foster home. One of the sweetest parts of his healing journey has been his bond with his foster sister, Willow. The two of them have become inseparable—cuddling together, sleeping side by side, and giving each other a sense of comfort that only another dog can provide. It’s clear how much Eli thrives when he feels safe and loved. His personality is shining right back through. The same gentle, resilient boy who waited so long for stability is now soaking up every moment of it—resting, healing, and enjoying the simple joy of companionship. While Eli is doing great physically, his journey isn’t over just yet. His life-saving surgery, hospitalization, and follow-up care have created a significant financial burden for Three Stooges Rescue Inc., which is already managing existing veterinary debt. Eli is safe because of this care—but now we need help covering the cost of giving him that second chance. If you’re able, please consider making a donation today. No amount is too small—every dollar helps relieve the burden and ensures Eli can continue healing without compromise. If you can’t donate, sharing Eli’s story is just as powerful. The more people who see him, the closer we get to easing this burden and helping him move one step closer to the forever home he’s been waiting so long to find. Eli didn’t give up. Let’s not give up on him.
