Help Anya Recover from a Painful Leg Fracture

Jacksonville, FL • Stray Animal Foundation of India

Anya, a young street puppy, was recently rescued after being found struggling with a severe limp. Concerned for her welfare, our team brought her to the clinic for immediate evaluation and treatment. Immediately, X-rays confirmed that Anya had suffered a leg fracture, an injury that would have continued to cause significant pain and mobility challenges without intervention. During her examination, veterinarians also discovered that she is anemic, leaving her more vulnerable and requiring careful medical management throughout her recovery. To give her the best chance of healing, Anya has been fitted with a Robert Jones bandage to stabilize the injured limb and reduce swelling. She has also been placed on strict cage rest, a critical, but vital part of her recovery process. The coming weeks will be crucial for her recovery. Ongoing veterinary care, follow-up examinations, bandage changes, supportive treatments, medications, and nutritional support will all play an important role in helping Anya regain her strength and mobility. Your donation can help ensure that Anya receives the continued care she needs during this critical healing period. Every contribution directly supports her treatment and recovery, giving this young puppy the opportunity to heal safely and move forward toward a healthier future. Please consider donating today to help Anya on her journey to recovery.

Jack

Jack is a 8 month old Mix-Breed in CITRA, FL, who needs $4,000 for Left Total Hip Replacement.

CITRA, FL

Hello everyone, Jack came to her home when he was 3 weeks old when he lost his mama. We bottle fed jack. Now he 8 months old and facing a major hurdle and urgently needs orthopedic hip surgery. We are working directly with the incredible veterinary team at the University of Florida (UF) Small Animal Hospital, but the cost of this life-changing are far more than my SSI income. We noticed Jack was slowing down and fussing a little more the older he got. But it wasn't until we got him fixed that we realized something was very wrong. He became hesitant just wanting to stay on the bed and near me He didn't play with his dog brothers. Jack will need at minimum surgery on one hip if not both and ongoing supplements, pain medication and physical to ensure a happy life. Jack has two dog brothers one he's very bonded with that is the same age. They're inseparable. Jack loves to howl and sing if you howl with him. That is something he looks forward to. He loves to play in the yard play with bones his most favorite thing is to have the sprinkler set up playing in the water, then of course playing the mud. I am currently on SSI with a limited income. I myself suffer from rheumatoid arthritis. I know exactly what joint pain feels like. It is not his fault the hand. If I had the money, I would help him immediately. No human or animal should be in pain over money

We are doing everything possible to support his recovery Turbo may have only been with our family for a short time, but he became part of us immediately. He is gentle, affectionate, and always wants to be near his people. He follows us around the house, watches what everyone is doing, and has already formed a special bond with our daughter. She calls him her puppy and misses him every day he’s been away. Even while not feeling well, Turbo still shows hi Turbo’s illness came unexpectedly just days after we adopted him, and emergency veterinary hospitalization, diagnostics, medications, and ongoing treatment costs have added up quickly. We are doing everything we can, but the financial burden of emergency care is overwhelming

Rip

Rip is a 4 year old Mix-Breed in Wesley Chapel, FL, who needs $2,000 for Blood Work, Allergy Testing, Seizure Cause and Med.

Wesley Chapel, FL

I brought Rip home just before Christmas 2021 when he was only 4 weeks old. My niece Kennedy and I secretly went to meet a litter of puppies, and the moment Rip walked straight over and climbed into her lap, I knew he was ours. Since then, he's been our loyal protector, adventure buddy, and gentle giant. Now he's facing serious skin issues, and I'm fighting to get him the care he needs. Rip has developed severe skin issues that continue to worsen despite treatment. He constantly scratches, chews, and irritates his skin, causing sores, hair loss, and bleeding. He also has a growing mass on his ear that concerns me. We need veterinary testing and treatment to determine the cause and help relieve his pain and discomfort. Rip is more than a dog,he's family. Every morning, he helps wake my niece Kennedy up for school licking her until she gets out of bed. He loves car rides and wants to go everywhere with me. At 95 pounds, he looks tough, but he's really just a giant baby. He protects the people he loves. Rip has been my constant companion through some of the hardest times in my life, and I can't imagine our family I'm facing financial hardship after multiple surgeries. I've had 7 surgeries since November myself. Rip's worsening condition requires veterinary care I can't afford. Any support will help provide the testing and treatment he needs to be healthy and comfortable again.
