Sophie

Sophie is a 4 year old Dutch Shepherd Dog in Caribou, , who needs $1,500 for Bloodwork, EKG, and Echocardiogram, and ProBNP.

Caribou

Sophie came into my life a few months after she was born. She looked younger than she was because she was malnourished. I just got into an apartment after 4 years. She has severe separation anxiety as a result of what she went through as a puppy prior to my getting her. She was puppy-milled. She is 4 years old, Dutch Shepherd Siberian Husky mix. A professional has said she is more Dutch Shepherd. Sophie was diagnosed with a heart murmur at 8 weeks old in July 2022. Hoping it would get better, but didn't. It got worse. It went from a grade 1 to a grade 3 in a year and a half. She has started eating random objects, so I have to keep my eyes out for everything to prevent her from eating. She has started to swallow hard and stops eating for 48 hours at a time. Just moved so new veterinarian. Sophie has a brother and a sister and both are dogs. Sophie loves to cuddle with me. Sophie has picked up on my husbands blood sugar with no official training. When he starts going in and out of consciousness before I can even grab my phone to call 911 she is already rousing him by licking his face. She is mostly a velcro dog. She has always been a picky eater and I take it, its her breeds. My husband and I are on a fixed income, just got housing after being homeless for 4 years. Trying to get on our feet and dealing with a dog that is getting sicker. Having an official diagnosis with diagnostics will help us with a path to addressing her health.

Mana

Mana is a 11 month old Mix-Breed in Granbury, TX, who needs $7,000 for Femur Reconstruction.

Granbury, TX

Hi my names Madison and i’m looking for help for my precious girl Mana, she’s less than a year old born (7/28/25) we got her and her sister (iv) from a litter of kittens my mother had that needed a home. I have always been a cat lover and really had needed them for my mental health post partum last year. They are both my absolute babies that are attached to my hip 24/7 My mom was in a wreck May 15th i’ve been with her temporarily until she gets a car. I’ve only been home on the weekends and i’ve greatly missed my babies more than anything. I came home yesterday however because my husband said she’d been acting strangely and I got home and she could even walk up to me her left leg just dangled when she stood. So we rushed to an ER and she has a broke femur My cats are so much to me they’re always are just as dependent on me as I am them. I’m devastated because i’m at loss of solution because I can find a vet anywhere around me that’s willing to finance outside of third party I can’t get approved. I can’t let her suffer and I don’t know what to do I know my heart would just stop if I had to surrender her or euthanize her i’m so desperate to help her My son was born at 26 weeks last year so I’ve been out of a job. My husband works. My mom was just in a wreck on May 15 and I’ve been helping her. My cats are my world they are so incredibly bonded with me they’re always at my hip and most the time the only reason I get up

Nala

Nala is a 10 month old Mix-Breed in Petersburg , VA, who needs $100 for Antibiotic.

Petersburg, VA

Nala is a 10-month-old mixed-breed puppy who weighs approximately 40 pounds. She lives with me and her father, Dino, in a loving home where they spend their days together playing, exploring outside, and enjoying each other’s company. Nala has been raised as part of our family since she was a young puppy and has always been active, affectionate, and full of energy. At home, I have been closely monitoring her condition, encouraging hydration, and watching for any signs of improvement or worsening. While she has had moments where she appears interested in going outside, she is not behaving like her normal playful self and continues to require close observation. Due to financial hardship, I have been unable to obtain immediate veterinary care. Nala has a personality that is impossible not to love. She is incredibly goofy, playful, and always finds a way to make us laugh. Whether she’s zooming around the yard, carrying around a toy that’s almost as big as she is, or giving us her funny expressions, she brings joy to our home every day. One of the things that makes Nala so special is that she’s both independent and clingy at the same time I’m a college student finishing my Diploma in Medical Assisting in July. I recently lost my sister to cancer on Easter and have been grieving heavily while balancing school and bills. I just paid rent and don’t get paid until the 13th.

Winnie

Winnie was in heartbreaking condition. Can you please help her?

Kissimmee, FL • The Pittie Party of Central Florida

Winnie, or Winnie the Pooh, arrived as a stray from Zephyrhills in early April, carrying far more pain than any dog should. This sweet 6-year-old mixed-breed girl came to us in heartbreaking condition. Her eyes were severely swollen, draining constantly, and causing her obvious pain. Even now, despite ongoing medications and treatment, Winnie continues to struggle with chronic eye issues that require constant care and monitoring. She’s also battling an upper respiratory infection, a persistent cough, painful skin infections around her eyes, hair loss, and swelling that leaves her deeply uncomfortable. To make matters more concerning, a nodule has also been found on her hind leg that may require further evaluation. And through it all, Winnie remains gentle. At 54 pounds, Winnie should be enjoying comfort, safety, and love—not fighting through daily pain and medical uncertainty. Her care has become increasingly complex, requiring medications, frequent reassessments, and a long-term treatment plan focused on giving her the quality of life she deserves. We are asking for compassionate support to help continue Winnie’s medical care. Her veterinary expenses are mounting quickly, and she depends on timely treatment and resources to heal and finally feel safe again. Every donation, no matter the size, helps Winnie move one step closer to comfort, stability, and the second chance she deserves.

Gucci

At 15 years old, Gucci has spent a lifetime loving his family. Now, he needs their help—and ours.

CA • Paws 4 A Cure

Gucci, a sweet Terrier-Schnauzer mix, has been part of his family since he was a puppy. But he's more than a beloved pet. After his mom's sister passed away at a young age, Gucci became a living connection to her memory—a treasured reminder of someone deeply loved and dearly missed. Today, Gucci is facing a difficult battle with chronic kidney disease. Since his diagnosis in May 2026, Gucci's family has done everything possible to keep him comfortable and give him the best quality of life. He requires a specialized renal diet, blood pressure medication, regular monitoring, bloodwork, and subcutaneous fluids several times each week. Despite these challenges, Gucci continues to enjoy the love and comfort of the family he has spent 15 years with. But his condition requires ongoing veterinary care that has become increasingly expensive. To help manage his disease and monitor its progression, Gucci urgently needs additional diagnostics and treatment, including bloodwork, blood pressure monitoring, subcutaneous fluid therapy, and an abdominal ultrasound. These vital medical expenses are estimated to cost between $1,884 and $2,017. Paws 4 A Cure has generously provided a $250 grant, but there is still a significant gap remaining before Gucci can receive the care he needs. Every donation, no matter the size, will help provide the testing and treatment necessary to keep Gucci comfortable, stable, and surrounded by the family who loves him so much. For Gucci's family, this isn't just about extending time—it's about preserving precious moments with a dog who carries the memory of a beloved sister and has been a source of comfort through life's hardest losses. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today. If you're unable to give, sharing Gucci's story can make a tremendous difference. Together, we can help ensure Gucci receives the care he needs and the comfort he deserves.
