Angel

Angel is a 6-year-old Chihuahua in Springfield, OR, who needs $513 for oral surgery.

Springfield or, OR

Angel came into our lives after we loss our Cookie due to a brain tumor. It was a hard time and then Angel came in and it made everything a little bit better. She came in to our lives when she was 8 weeks old and she is the best gift I have gotten in a long time. I’m so lucky to have her. Angel is a very sweet little girl. She loves laying by mommy and daddy and playing with her sister. She likes being the boss and think she is the boss. Her favorite toy is a blue duck and a favorite food/snack is chicken and she thinks she needs to try everything. She is happy go lucky. She can get so happy when it’s time to eat. She loves when it when it's time for me to come home and will jump up and down. When she see me and she is playing it the cutest thing. She loves her blue duck and if she sees you with it she get so happy that she will start to jump up and down and bark. She has a lot of bad teeth that need to be fixed. The vet says they need to come out. I can’t lose her due to her teeth being bad. I do have a day for here to get this fixed and it is coming up on December 14th. I have tried everything I can to get the money for her by then. I’m hoping I can. I have had two surgeries in the last year and to have Angel healthy again will be the best thing to happen this year. She had been there for me every time I've been sick and I just want to be there for her now.

Jack

Jack is a 10-year-old Labrador Retriever in Citrus Heights, CA, who needs $2,000 for Intestinal Resection Anastamosis.

Citrus Heights, CA

This is "Jack," my 10-year-old Labrador Retriever. His vet has diagnosed him with an abdominal tumor that is creating a persistent intestinal blockage. The tumor needs to be removed and we don't know if is cancer. The operation and therapy will cost about $10,000. I don't want to lose my dog. Please help me to save "Jack". I never had kids, so he is my boy and I love him.:) Thanks! Jack loves going to the park and running after the ball. His favorite park is "San Juan Park." He always has the best time running after squirrels. He is always happy and in a good mood. Even in the bad days, he has always a big smile. He loves people and every time someone comes home, he wags his tail making the person feel welcome. Jack used to live in Bogota, Colombia with my mom and his best friend "Lulo" a Cocker Spaniel. My mom got sick and asked me to bring him back to the US. Even though he was born in California, he is still adapting to the new environment. Deep in my heart, I think he misses my mom and Lulo a lot. I feel bad for him. Jack was diagnosed by Dr. Mary Watson at Banfield Hospital in Carmichael, CA with an abdominal mass. "I am able to palpate the firm mass in the middle cranial abdomen; it is about the size of a large orange/small grapefruit. The mass size has been confirmed by my Chief of Staff. Patricia spoke to a DVM at VCA regarding the ultrasound; the VCA DVM states the mass is about the size of a walnut." This is an unexpected expense and I don't count with the funds. I have already spent $3,000 in diagnose exams with three different vet hospitals: blood exams, x-rays and abdominal ultrasounds. Various exams, but no treatment. My dog has not been treated yet.:(

Daphne

Daphne is a 10-year-old Boxer Mix in Scottsburg, IN, who needs $2,000 for Chemo Treatment.

Scottsburg, IN

Daphne came into our life by mere chance. A friend of ours needed to rehome her and we just so happened to be looking for a puppy to adopt! It worked out perfectly so, that our friend could come visit her any time she liked and we could add a new member to our family where we knew her history and how well she was taken care of previously. Daphne absolutely loves belly rubs and treats! She loves meeting new humans and loves getting pets by any body she meets. She sleeps in her own bed at the bottom of our bed. My son talks daily about how cute Daphne's face is and her cute paws. He loves her so much and talks constantly about how he loves to take care of her. This news couldn't have came at the worst time because we just lost our beloved Joseph to a very aggressive mouth cancer. We want to be able to get Daphne's cancer to be in remission if possible but we need help to pay for her treatment. We would be forever thankful!! About a year ago we started to see a bump starting to appear on Daphne's side. We thought at first it was a bug bite but then it started to grow. When we took her to the vet and were able to get it surgically removed they sent it off and it came back as a High Grade Mast Cell Tumor. St. Clair's Veternary Hospital is suggesting chemo and on-going medication for the rest of her life. Daphne is anxious when it is storming outside. She wants to be cuddled and does not realize that she is a 100 lb dog. She is such a lap dog. She loves to be near you at all times and wants to go where ever you go. She is extremely smart and will communicate her wants and needs. She does such a good job during care rides and at the vet. The doctors and assistants love her!

Photo of Charlie Brown

Charlie Brown

Charlie Brown is a 10-year-old Yorkshire Terrier in Sarasota, FL, who needs $2,000 for Luxating Patella with a torn Cranial Cruciate Ligament.

SARASOTA, FL

Charlie lives in our home with his brother Baxter, I live with my girlfriend and her mother and its just us. They've known Charlie for the better part of his whole life, they purchased him at a PetSmart back in 2011, back then he was so small you could hold him in the palm of your hand. He eats daily 3 times a day, spends the day playing with toys, napping, chasing squirrels, and bird watching. Charlie is adored by all members of this family, he sleeps in our bed every night, we walk him during the day, or take him on drives. He's a very smart dog, he knows many tricks and will stand by the door if he needs to be taken outside. He is absolutely in love with all things related to water. If he's by a pool he would want us to splash him and bring him inside with us, and go crazy if we don't Well, I am only 22 years old and I was not financially prepared for this horrible, unexpected event to happen to poor Charlie.. My girlfriend and her Mother don't have much money and we all pay rent to live here. We really want to help Charlie but just cant afford surgery:( Charlie has been going about his daily routines as he has his entire life, but one day when he was out in the yard chasing squirrels he stumbled and started limping... Now Charlie has always been a super healthy dog, with no health issues, So at first we weren't so worried... until we took him to the vet, where they told us he had a Luxating Patella with a torn Cranial Cruciate Ligament. I've known Charlie for the better part of 6 years and he's changed my life so much. I never knew the world could have something so innocent and nice in it like him, and everyday he reminds me of that. Every time Charlie makes every new person he meets smile, his tongue is just always sticking out and he makes that adorable face at you. He wants to play 24/7 and we just can't get enough of him.

Peanut is a 15-year-old Pomeranian/American Eskimo in Preston , CT, who needs $700 for Biopsy.

Preston, CT

Peanut is my baby. I found him at a local humane society, he was thirteen years old. His previous family moved and couldn’t take him with them. Peanut is my baby and I would do anything for him. We just found out he has a tumor on the left side of his face and it’s cancer. 😭 We are currently living with family until our new apartment is available. Peanut is a mama’s boy. He follows me everywhere. He has fur sister, our cat, Grisa and they have a very strong bond. When we first got Peanut he had severe separation anxiety, he bonded with Grisa since she was a week old and they are inseparable. Peanut, Grisa, are our babies. I love Peanut and can’t wait for him to see our new apartment. This is all happening so quickly and Peanut is worth everything. We are struggling to make ends meet and we want to do all we can for Peanut. Peanut is very important to me and I can’t lose my boy. We just found out Peanut has cancer. He has a mass on his left side of his face on the top gum in his mouth. He also may have some kidney issues and he’s 15 years old but he is so worth the money, please. We need to have the mass biopsied and are told it may grow back but I want to do this for Peanut. We take our fur babies to Salem Valley Vet in Salem Ct. We are working with Dr. Slater. Peanut came with the name Peanut, if I had got him as a puppy I would have called him spinner. As every time I come home, Peanut spins in circles. He only does this for mama. He loves munchkins, cheeseburgers and his bologna. Peanut is a love bug. Peanut is the best and deserves this chance to keep living and enjoying life.

Baby Lacy

Baby Lacy is a 6-month-old Pit Bull in Simi Valley, CA, who needs $2,000 for medical treatment.

Simi Valley, CA • Southern California Pit Bull Rescue

Baby Lacy got off to a rough start in life when she was just a little 6-month-old puppy. A family showed up to the shelter with her lying in the back of a pick-up-truck. It was clear that she was badly injured, and that’s when Southern California Pit Bull Rescue stepped in to have her examined. Her rescuer, Mark R., explains, “She couldn’t walk and it was clear that her right leg was broken. But after being examined at the emergency hospital, it turned out that both of her back legs were broken. Poor Baby Lacy had to undergo two surgeries, as every bone in her back legs and paws were snapped. The rescue covered the cost of her procedures in the hopes of getting her back up on her feet. Even though she’s had a tough recovery and had to wear a cast for 6 weeks, Mark notes, “She’s just such a super sweet girl.” Back at the rescue, Baby Lacy made friends with another rescue dog, Hope, and the two of them were recently adopted together by a loving family who will shower them with affection for the rest of their lives. Southern California Pit Bull Rescue needs help from generous donors to cover the cost of Baby Lacy’s medical invoices, as the surgeries were quite expensive. With your contributions, you’ll be helping the rescue to continue to get veterinary care for animals who desperately need it so that they can go on to find their forever homes and have happy lives, just like Baby Lacy.

Tinkie

Tinkie is an 11-year-old Mini Yorkie in Bellaire , OH, who needs $712 for Dental Extractions.

Bellaire, OH

Tinkie was brought to me as a gift in early 2000. Her previous owner had a busy work schedule and was unable to provide her with the care and attention she needed. She warmed up to me and would never leave my side. She was not house broken and pretty stubborn but with patience I taught her how to potty outside. Around 1 year after having Tinkie I discovered she has infrequent seizures. Tinkie is adored in my family. We watch over her like she is a baby. She loves to be held and squeezes her way between you and any pieces of furniture you sit on. She is gentle with my young niece and nephew. But she also thinks she is the household gaurdian. She doesn’t realize her small size and acts very large if someone comes to our door. I’m am on a limited income and pay rent along with other bills that prevent me from affording this costly procedure. I can only afford so much. It would mean a great deal to have any help offered to lower the cost. I want Tinkie to be happy and healthy and comfortable. I’m currently in a situation where I cannot afford to pay the large sum of money for her dental care. Almost all of her teeth are bad and could pose serious health risks. Her vet is located at Glendale Animal Hospital in Glandale,West Virginia. Their phone number is 1(304)845-5454 her vet is Dr. Mary Martin-Olson. Tinkie has a special place in my heart. She is so happy to see me come in the door whether I’m gone 5 minutes or 15 minutes. She greets me with this cute smile on her face. It’s hard to see her smile because she is small but she shows all her little teeth and waggles her nubby tale and body. It’s the cutest.

Gemma

Gemma is a 1-year-old Pit Bull in Temperance, MI, who needs $770 for Femoral head resection.

Temperance, MI

She was a stray I found in the street late at night. I could see her ribs and spine. She is about 9 months old now. I found out she is a lilac merle tri color pit bull. She also has 1 green and 1 blue eye. She is the most beautiful dog I've ever seen. I've had her about 3 months now. She has gotten all her shots and just got fixed 2 weeks ago. Currently I'm staying at my mom's with my dog. She is a puppy so she has a lot of energy and always likes to play. She gets along with any cat or dog she meets. She just wants to play with them. She is good with anyone she meets. She loves goin on walks and chewing on anything she can. Currently just started having a trainer come over so I'm working on her. She is very sweet and loves love. I lost everything in a break up. I'm currently working part time at McDonald's and had to move back into my mom's. I've paid for her to get fixed and all of her shots and also have a dog trainer that comes once a week. I don't make enough with having to pay towards bills. When I found her she was in bad shape and was born with her hips out of place. I just got here fixed and they x rayed her hips and that's how I found out. She doesn't seem to be in pain she runs and jumps. But when she sleeps she kicks a lot and can never seem to get comfortable. I just want her to be able to live here best life. To start she is so beautiful. She is very vocal. She tilts her head in confusion a lot and it makes me laugh. She is very energetic and loves to just run. She dreams and makes funny sounds. She snorts like a pig a lot also. She is so funny. She was a rescue so I try to show her all the love I can give her.

Toby

Toby is a 12-year-old Chihuahua in Knoxville, TN, who needs $1,800 for Palliative RT.

Knoxville, TN

12 year ago, I lived in a very rural area, very small country town. Toby and his siblings came to be with me after being rescued from a chicken wire cage wrapped around a tree in the middle of winter. He was only 6 weeks old! He immediately came to be part of our family. My daughter is now 13 and we are hoping to overcome the financial obstacle and save our Toby from cancer. Toby is a small dog, but loves all animals! When small he was raised with cats, chickens, sheep, goats, all the farm animals. He is very playful and loves snuggling under blankets. My son and daughter absolutely adore him, he is the glue to our family. He has been with us my daughters whole life, we couldn’t imagine a life without him, especially just bc we couldn’t afford to save him! I was a stay at home mom for past 3 years, during said time I graduated pharmacy tech school and am now a pharmacy tech working FT. I have 2 kids, and make $12hr. Even with saving, I am unable to financially cover the whole treatment.I would do anything to save my best friend Toby had a large bump come up on his face, back of his jaw on the left side. We went to Butlers Animal Clinic in Karns,TN where I was told his bump was a cancerous tumor. They did a fine needle aspiration and determined it was cancerous and inoperable..I was told he was being referred to UT Oncology Vet Specialists for a CT scan. That is where his treatment will be done, palliative RT Toby is a cover stealer LOL, he loves climbing up and dragging all the covers down so he can snuggle up underneath. The sound his giant ears makes when he shakes off always make me smile. As he runs up and down our hallways, his putter patters always bring a smile to our faces! Just coming home everyday to our best friend is all the happiness I could ask for.
