Eclipse

Eclipse is a 7 year old Mix-Breed in Belvidere, NJ, who needs $2,000 for Removing Urethra Blockage-Flushing System.

Belvidere, NJ

Eclipse lives with his family in NJ. His family consists of Mom, Dad and our two kids. His fur family includes Cocoa, Rascal, Delta and Goldy. Cocoa and Rascal are brother and sister and no relation to Eclipse; however, they get along very well for step fur siblings. Goldy, our dog, and Eclipse are the younger members of our crew and they keep the senior members engaged. Eclipse started showing some symptoms recently. We took him to Blairstown Animal Hospital. They determined that he had a blockage in his urethra. The Dr. stated that he was in a lot of discomfort. He was eating/drinking and showed no signs that something was wrong until the last 24 hours. They had to do a procedure, and he has to go to the vet every day for the next few days. Eclipse came onto our deck 7 years ago as a stray kitten. He is the most loving cat and gets along with all our other animals. He has a hunter's instinct, just wants to be held and nuzzle into your neck and is feisty. He loves to nap on your lap/chest. I feel that he is so loving because he wants us to know every day how much he appreciates that we took him in. He is a handsome boy. This past year or so my husband and I were out of work. Unexpected college expenses this summer and a personal matter have made vet's bill really difficult. Eclipse is young and has a lot of life left to live - we love him so much and couldn't imagine life without him.

Mo

Mo is a 4 year old American Shorthair in Cloquet, , who needs $2,000 for Emergency Treatment for Infected Abscess of Eye.

Cloquet

4 years ago I found Mo outside in the pouring rain during a thunderstorm. He was covered in mud, he must have weighed less than half a pound. He was so lost. So I scoped him up and I took him home. It took months before he would even let me pet him. It was obvious he had been abused. We are up in Minnesota and Even with the rough start, he is a beautiful, perfect cat. About a month and a half ago he had gotten an abscess by his eye but it was more on top of his nose area. Since then I've had him to the vet at least six times. I've got an x-rays taken twice, they said they did a culture, and they cut open the abscess and drained it. The antibiotics they're giving him haven't been working. I'm trying to bring him to the emergency vet to get him more help He loves to have his tummy rubbed. It doesn't matter what I'm doing he'll flop over in front of me. And he tries to imitate words I say by meowing back at me. I was calling him meow meow and he was meowing back meow meow too. But he likes to catch mice and drop them on me while I'm sleeping. When they're alive. So he's running off the bed the mouse is chasing him and im chasing boih of them. I have been on disability for several years. I had a very violent ex-husband and I got hurt pretty bad leaving my marriage. And normally I don't need a lot of money. But I have to get Mo help. And I feel so worthless not being able to help him. He's so sick

Mr kitty

Mr kitty is a 6 year old Mix-Breed in Brooklyn, NY, who needs $2,000 for Incision and Drainage, (I&D) Debridement, and Surgery.

Brooklyn, NY, NY

Well, Mr kitty has been a member of our family the day she came into our lives 2 years ago, she was a stray cat and it was winter time, snow and rain were falling, she came up to us with a bad cough and cold and this was a month after we had to put our meko to sleep, we think that he sent her to us, she was in bad condition but now she's ok, she is so sweet and has no teeth, and she has a growth on her neck. We have not taken her to the vet as of yet because she was doing so well, she had a either wound or growth on her neck and I used Google and said what the problem was and it said to give her some antibiotics that I was given for me, I broke them up and gave to her over 9 days and it seemed to get better but it's back and getting bigger, so she needs to go to a veterinarian now, she is so sweet, She's such a cutie, I am her favorite, then she will go to my wife for belly rubs, she luvs bellies, that's what we say every time she jumps on our bed and turns on her back, you want bellies, she is a little intimidated by my son, she luvs him and he luvs her so much but you can tell, but she always gets on her back and lets him rub her belly, every time I do it I put her to sleep, so cute, My financial situation is not as good as it was just a few years ago, yes we struggle but we are together and we have Mr kitty, I am sorry to bother you guys but we could use some help with paying for whatever it is that she needs, we love her and want to get her the care she needs.

Photo of Bayou

Bayou

Bayou is a 13 year old English Coonhound in San Francisco, CA, who needs $1,060 for Low Dose Dexamethasone Suppression Test.

San Francisco, CA

Bayou, the teeniest runt of his rescued litter, came into my life at a month old, five lbs, and faced medical issues from the situation he was rescued from. In two mos, I found myself with a 70 lb coonhound who loved to bellow at fire trucks. 13 yrs later, he’s seen me through all of life’s ups and downs, has a hound sister to harmonize with, and is the best companion any gal could ask for. Bayou unexpectedly got sick. He began vomiting, could not hold down food, and rapidly became so ill he could barely walk. He needed emergency surgery to remove his spleen due to a mass, remove an intestinal blockage, and biopsy spleen and liver. Surgery was very hard on him because of his age and we now have to navigate after care to get to a stable, healthy place. Bayou is the best, most intuitive, most loyal and protective boy in the world. We’ve been together though 13 years of life and lived in multiple cities. He not only provides constant emotional support, he protects me at home, on walks, at all times. I feel confident in saying I would not have been able to navigate much of life’s experiences without him. I cannot imagine a world without him. Bayous illness was unexpected and has amassed 20,000 in debt, which is still growing. He deserves the best in life, and I’ll do everything I can to keep him healthy and happy for as long as possible. His sister and I need him!

Winter

Winter is a 1-year-old Standard Poodle in Portland, OR, who needs $2,000 for Gastronomy.

Portland, OR

Winter came into our lives in April 2022 at the tender age of 5 months. At only that age she had already been in two homes. We got her from someone that was sheltering her as the owner didn't want her anymore. Winter was someone's Christmas gift that ended up being too much to handle and was given away. Winter is our funny, silly, always happy puppy. She is calm, doesn't bark, and loves to play with our two other dogs. Our other dogs just sleep all day long and don't know how to play together. Winter is the glue of the bunch. She plays with both of them! She is also my daughters best friend. anywhere my daughter goes, rest assured Winter is only a few steps behind. Winter thinks she is part cat and loves to climb things. She also thinks she is human and loves to sit on anyone's lap. If you are sitting, she will sit on you! She also lays on her back immediately upon meeting someone for them to rub on her belly. She makes everyone smile all the time. Our lives will never be the same because she is in it. Winter had to have 12 inches of her intestines removed as she had four punctures that would not heal. She is a mischievous puppy and will eat anything in her sight. she requires constant supervision because she will eat rocks, sticks, socks, and toys in a heart beat. Winter will require lots of medications and check ups post surgery. My current bill is already at $6900 that doesn't cover any of the take home medications. I've charged my credit cards and will need to pay those back.
