Señor Blu is 2 years old and has the most amazing personality thats worth knowing. He is full of life silly, loving, protective and extremely smart. (He can open a door with his mouth!). Señor Blu came into our home during a horrific time for my family, bringing nothing but happiness and joy. Blu has been with us ever since, being the best fur baby/support doggie anyone can have asked for. Blu is a very playful pup, very loving and funny. He loves to sit on top of the couch and watch people outside. He loves to cuddle and play with a rub ball. Every where I go, Blu is there to follow. He loves car rides and playing in the park. Blu also loves to play dress up with my youngest daughter, play ball with my son, and go running with my oldest daughter. I am a single of 3 children and have been trying to do this on my own but now at the point that I must ask for help from the community. My family and I are asking for support in helping us with the cost of medical bills and the items he will need to live a full happy life. On February 11th, the vet informed me the Blu has IVDD for dogs. He lost mobility in his hind legs and now facing amputation in the left rear leg. Blu has been back to the vet 2 more times with another overnight stay since his diagnoses. With his new condition has came with additional health issues. One issue, causing his left leg to swell so much much it has torn his skin. Even though he lost mobility in his hind legs, and will have to wear a diaper for the rest of his life, he is still a happy trooper. Blu is very active and does everything his heart desires, although I have mini heart attacks with the stuff he tries to do! Plus, he enjoys his walks in his new wheelchair. It has been a transition, but he’s worth every life change we are having to make.

Chief

Chief is a 2-year-old Mixed Breed Dog in McDowell , NC, who needs $2,000 for Femoral Head and Neck Excision.

Chief showed up as a stray to our home. We put up fliers, facebook posts etc to find his owner. We fed him and cared for him for a week. We came home from church to find he had been hit by a car. We took him to a vet in Forest City, NC. He was not chipped. We named him at the vet. We had the vet put hip back in place, rabies shot, heart worm, flea, tick meds, etc. after 3 weeks hip would not stay Chief lives inside since his hip is not in place. He is the only baby in our family. He loves being with his humans. sleeps on his bed at the foot of our bed at night. He loves being outside. He loves having toys. He is friendly and loving and very vocal when you meet him. He misses being able to play outside in the water but we are afraid with his hurt hip that he will hurt it more. When chief first came to our home he was thin so we fed him. When we put the food in the bowl he looked at it, then looked at us, we told him to go ahead and eat and finally he started to eat. He would eat a couple bites, then he would wine and lick our hands as to say thank you for the food. He loves people. Chief was hit by a car and has a hip that won’t stay in place per the first vet we visited. Records sent to a specialist at a surgical clinic for estimate which is 3500.00. We have paid 800.00 already for his care to date, to try to keep hip in place but was unsuccessful. 4 Weeks now. We have taken Chief into our home as a stray and feel the need to help him to get the medical care he needs, we have paid 900.00 to date and planning on. 200.00 more to neuter him. This is an unexpected exp that we don’t have the money to have his hip fixed.

When I first saw "Phoebe" on PetFinder, I fell in love. She was found as a hairless stray puppy limping along the streets in rural TX. Despite all the obstacles she's faced, her positive spirit has always shone through. Her resilience has changed my entire perspective on life. Now known as Phoenix (or Fifi/Fi), she lives with my family and her two feline brothers in her comfortable furever home. Fifi has become the keystone of our family, bringing joy and laughter to our home every day. She is incredibly affectionate and loves to cuddle up with her humans at night. She is especially great with children, showing unmatched patience and gentleness. Fifi's playfulness and enthusiasm are infectious, and we can't help but feel happy when we're around her. Fifi is special in so many ways. Despite her difficult start in life, she has an unwavering spirit and brings so much love to our lives. She may lack boundaries (and doesn't quite understand personal space), but we wouldn't have it any other way. Her tongue is always out, giving her an adorable and goofy appearance that always makes us smile. Whenever anyone is feeling down, Fifi has an answer. Although Fi has quickly adapted to her ever-changing situation (hobbling with confidence!), we see her condition worsening by the day. She has gone from pouncing on her kitty-bros to now struggling to stand. She'd already undergone expensive surgeries prior to her adoption, but unfortunately, it is now worsening. Since meeting our doctor, we are positive she can cure Fi's ailments for good. I love Fifi more than anything. Seeing her in this much pain destroys me. I've been between jobs since being in a motorcycle accident last year, and I just found my pet insurance refuses to cover any of Fifi's recovery. I know she needs this, and I feel completely helpless.

Forrest

Forrest is a 2 year old Mix-Breed in Virginia Beach, VA, who needs $2,000 for Hospitalization for Urinary Obstruction Blockage.

Forrest is one of our 2 pet cats. He is a rescue we've had for just over a year. We live in Virginia Beach where he is an indoor cat who is allowed outside with us as long as he's on a leash. Forrest has been diagnosed with lower urinary tract disease (FLUTD). He needed to have emergency 2-day stay at the veterinary hospital to flush his bladder of the crystals blocking his urine from coming out. He will also need to be on a special diet for the rest of his life to hopefully keep the crystals from forming again. Forrest loves to play! Sometimes with his brother Socks, sometimes with his human family, and other times alone - chasing around a pom-pom. He also likes chasing bugs when they get inside, or when he gets to come outside. This large vet bill is completely unexpected. Without pet insurance, I will need to work longer hours to make extra money to pay for his bills. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Tuesday is an 8-week-old kitten who was found on the streets of Minneapolis just this Tuesday. He was a local street cats kitten and poorly taken care of. He wouldn’t eat and threw up gum wrappers and other street debris. He will be living with me and my two other cats while he gets back on his feet. Tuesday is an 8-week-old kitten who was found on the streets of Minneapolis just this Tuesday with a horrible leg injury and broken bone. He will require extensive ongoing procedures for about 8 weeks to get him back on all four of his feet. This will consist of recasting and vet visits 2-3 times a week for 8 weeks. We will currently be treating him at Blue Cross pet hospital in Minneapolis. He has been through more than most adults and a very traumatic painful upbringing at just 8 weeks old. That hasn’t changed his super loving and happy personality with a will to live. I just recently graduated college working 60 hours a week. I rent an apartment currently in Minneapolis and do not have the financial means to give him everything he deserves. I desperately want to help this kitten but I can’t help him on my own.

Gizmo

We have had Gizmo since she was about 9 weeks old. Her name is from the movie. She is so sweet, she loves to give kisses before bed and loves her teenage person more than the rest of us. Gizmo is an indoor cat who thought she wanted to see what the outside was all about. Sometime on 4/24 Gizmo got out. She was missing for 7 weeks and when we found her she was near death. She is at Central Hospital ov veterinary Medicine in the ICU, for 3 days now. She needed a blood transfusion and may need another. Gizmo is special because she loves big. She loves all of us in the house, but has one special person, so much so that when we go to the hospital to see her she cries for her when she has to go back to the ICU. She is special. The vet always speak about how sweet and loving she is. Unfortunately the price is up to 8k at the moment and if she needs another transfusion the price will go up. It would mean everything to us to have her well again. For 7 weeks, I never gave up, it was my second job to find her. And finding her was amazing.

Oscar is 2, full of sass, a little grumpy, and the heart of my world. He came to me after losing my cat Beans and brought light when I was broken. I’m 24, live alone, and struggle with anxiety and isolation. I’ve always found it hard to connect with people, but my cats—Oscar, Marvin, and Beef—are my family, my comfort, and my lifeline. Oscar was diagnosed with a life-threatening urinary blockage and now needs PU (perineal urethrostomy) surgery to survive and live a long, happy life. He’s being treated by Dr. Katz at AristoKatz in Fairfield, whose care and compassion have been a godsend—offering hope when others could not. Oscar has two brothers, Marvin and Beef—his best friends. He’s full of personality, always “yelling,” watching birds or TV, and demanding cuddles. He’s always happy to see me, making the hardest days easier. As someone with social anxiety, that unconditional love means everything. And yes—he loves his treats! Oscar means everything to me. I’m a young adult doing my best to get by, but I’ve maxed out my credit cards just getting him this far. I can’t afford this surgery alone. Greyson is almost 4 years old.i am not sure what breed he is but i do feel like he has some Main Coon in him but anyway, he is my 9 year old daughters cat. She got him for christmas when she was 5 and she adores and loves her cat. He is our only animal that we have so he is very loved and spoiled. He is indoor cat,we never let him outside were all so heartbroken that he has to go through this. He has always been a healthy cat he has never really been sick. He has had all of his shots and rabies vaccine. He is an amazing cat! Like i said he is our daughters cat and you can tell because he follows her where ever she goes they are always together. He is a gentle giant, he is a big cuddly bear and loves to play and chase after paper balls and a lazor light. His favorite thing to do is lay in the windows and watch the birds and squirrels. My husband and i have good jobs that we have been at for along time and we don't ususaly need help but this has come at the worst time possible. I have my own medical issues right now and we just bought and moved into a new home so money is a little tight right

Mittens was found under my mom's house, Mittens mom (Cowgirl) which is my mom's cat had gave birth to Mittens under my mom's house. I (Ashley) heard Mittens meow one morning and I went outside to see and there she was on the bricks along the side of the house, so I went to go get her little butt and it took maybe approx of 10 min to catch her. She was so little and scared but very playful. Mittens had her 2nd litter of kittens about 2 wks ago. She had 4. 3 died. I believe there is one still in her and she needs medical help. She's meowing like she's in pain and you can tell she is. She went from walking funny to not being able to walk at all. She uses her to front paws to slide across the floor to move/get around. It's so sad. 😓 Mittens loves to play. She's very active, very loving, a good momma, so sweet and can be very protective! She will chase a laser beam on the floor, chase a string and will pat your face with her paw for your attention! The last 2 years money has been very tight. I've been trying to find a good paying job but im not getting anywhere. I do DoorDash and Grubhub to get us by. I've been trying to get Mittens emergency help and everyone I've called wants $$ up front. Please help save our baby!
