Big Dawg has been the best thing that ever happened to me. He was born August 19,2022. I have had him since that very day. He jumped off the porch when he was about 3 months old and when I called him a big dog he just jumped around so happy. Hims a Big Dawg! He has so many friends and loves kids. He's the sweetest boy and everyone loves him. This town just wouldn't be the same without him. On September 22 I took him to the Bowling Green Veterinary Emergency Clinic and found out he was positive for Ehliciosis. She put him on Doxycycline. I took him back 10/2 and he has enlarged spleen that is out of place and He needs more test and X-rays done that I can't financially afford and a he is supposed to have a spleenoctomy done. Big Dawg is my Biggie DogSon. I used to rock him to sleep. I tuck him in at night and sing him to sleep. He is my son. Our hearts are breaking seeing him sick. We would be so lost without him. I am currently unable to afford the cost of having the proper care and procedures that he needs to get him back to my healthy little baby boy and time is ticking. He needs CBC, Chemistry 17, Electrolytes, abdominal radiographs, and is scheduled for a spleenoctomy.

Raven Was Bleeding. There Was No Time to Wait.

While her family was at work, One by One Animal Rescue received an emergency call about Raven, a one-year-old German Shepherd who had been hit by a car. Raven’s injuries were far more serious than a typical broken leg. Her fracture was open, with bone protruding through her skin, and she was actively hemorrhaging. Thankfully, the person who hit her immediately rushed her to Proctorville Animal Clinic. Raven’s family was already facing incredibly difficult personal circumstances. When they learned she needed emergency orthopedic surgery and an extensive recovery, they made the heartbreaking decision to surrender her so she could get the care she needed. But there was no time to wait for fundraising. Dr. Dyer knew he had a small window to repair Raven’s leg. With exposed bone and continued bleeding, delaying surgery could cost this young dog her life. So he saved her first and worried about the rest later. Her surgery was successful, and Raven is now recovering. Dr. Dyer has generously helped make her care affordable and is keeping her at Proctorville Animal Clinic for the first two weeks so she can be closely monitored. Now it’s our turn to help Raven. We need to raise $2,500 toward her emergency surgery. After those first two weeks, she’ll still need approximately six weeks of strict activity restriction and continued care. Without an appropriate foster home, One by One may also need to cover her boarding during that time. There was no opportunity to fundraise first. There was simply a young dog bleeding, a veterinarian who could save her, and a tiny window in which to act. Dr. Dyer chose to save Raven. One by One chose to stand behind that decision. Now we’re asking you to help us give Raven the chance to heal. Every $5, $10, and $25 donation brings her closer to the safe, happy future she deserves. A year and a half ago, Bucky came into our lives at age 9, after his previous owner’s new wife didn't want him. We had recently lost our beloved Shih Tzu, so our hearts were still broken. Bucky quickly became family, following me everywhere and filling our home with love, laughter, and comfort. We needed him as much as he needed us. Bucky has been diagnosed with three large tumors, two of which are pressing against his rectum and making it increasingly difficult for him to poop. Because of the location, his regular vet referred him to a specialist at Community Veterinary Hospital in Dublin, Virginia. There are many tiny nerves in this area, so Bucky needs a surgeon with the specialized skills to remove the tumors. Bucky is more than a pet—he is our family, our comfort, and a source of unconditional love. After being unwanted by someone else, he found his forever home with us. His recovery means everything because we cannot imagine life without him. Every day with Bucky is a blessing, and we’re fighting to give him the healthy, happy, loving life he deserves. I’m on disability so money is very tight. We started a GoFundMe and have been blessed with generously donations. But we still have a long way to go! He needs this surgery ASAP so he can heal before my back surgery on 10/08, as I won't be able to care for him until I heal.

Maggie Alabama Survived Life as a Stray, Now She Needs Heartworm Treatment

When Maggie Alabama was found as a stray in Alabama, she was emaciated and suffering from a terrible skin condition. At just 2 to 3 years old, she had clearly already endured a difficult start to life. Maggie's journey to safety began when she was encountered during a mission trip. She needed help, and the person who found her couldn't leave her behind. Eventually, this sweet stray made her way into the care of Wags and Wiggles Dog Rescue, where she finally had the chance to begin healing. The difference in Maggie today is incredible. Once underweight and struggling with painful skin issues, she now weighs a healthy 39 pounds and has a beautiful, soft, fluffy coat. But while she may look like a different dog on the outside, she still has important medical needs ahead of her. Maggie tested positive for heartworm disease and has begun the lengthy process of treatment. She is also receiving ongoing treatment for a urinary tract infection and will need to be spayed once she has safely completed her heartworm treatment. There are also signs that Maggie may have had puppies at some point in her young life. Through everything, Maggie has remained remarkably gentle and loving. She is crate trained, house trained, and walks well on a leash thanks to the work of her foster, who happens to be a trainer. She loves going for walks and car rides, but she is just as happy snuggling beside someone on the sofa, chewing on a bone, or rolling over for a belly rub. Maggie is still young enough to enjoy playing, but she has a wonderfully calm nature. She has done well with dogs, children, and everyone she meets, and her rescuers believe she could also do well with cats. Whether her future is with a family or someone looking for a gentle companion to share quieter days with, Maggie has so much love to give. In fact, one of her biggest "faults" is simply wanting too much affection. Maggie will stand up and put her front paws on you when she wants attention. After everything she experienced before being rescued, she seems determined to make up for lost time when it comes to being loved. Now, Wags and Wiggles Dog Rescue is committed to seeing Maggie through the rest of her medical journey. Her heartworm treatment, ongoing UTI care, spay surgery, and related veterinary needs will give her the opportunity to leave her days of surviving as a stray behind for good. I have had Rocco since he was 2 months old. I got him from a family member whose friend had puppies and the puppies were going to get put down. He has been my best friend since I was 17. Rocco has multiple health concerns. He was rushed to the vet and upon checking he had a ruptured abscess in his abdomen that was leaking septic fluid. They also found two masses. One near his penis and one near his groin. He also has a perianal hernia that will need to be operated on once he recovers from the 3 surgeries he just underwent. Rocco is such a special strong boy. Everyone that comes into contact with Rocco ends up loving him. He loves kids and other pets. He’s the best boy in the whole world! This is a sudden major expense and it has become costly. The total I am at currently is 18K I have 14K of the cost covered but with still having to maintain a household as a single mother I fear I would struggle to pay the rest of the cost as the cost seems to keep rising.

Osiris was gifted to my daughter to be her emotional support companion. And the 3 years that she has had him they have become inseparable depending on each other. I honestly don't know what they'll do without each other. Osiris was in the yard playing when The neighbor dogs came and and teamed up on him and viciously attacked him he's got wounds around his neck his back leg his rear end. I'm very thankful for the emergency veterinarian service by us named JAM. They were so patient and caring with him and us. Osiris is very special to our family if you're feeling down he will come sit on you like a weighted blanket and give you lots of love and attention. He lives with myself his gammy, his mommy and his fur Mommy. He loves to run and play he has a toy called his fly toy which is a frisbee he never gets tired of chasing that. I have had to lessen my hours at work due to a disability. Which has had a hardship on the household then putting this emergency vet bill on top of everything.

We’ve already paid $2,200 for ultrasounds and vet visits to figure out what was wrong. We’re college students and just don’t have the ability to cover a cost like this on our own. Chia has the kindest soul she’s only a year old. Barley has seen the world and it hurts to see her in pain. Anything helps, whether it’s donating or sharing this. We really appreciate it. I am a barista and get paid minimum wage and my sister is part time while she is in school. We just want chia to be okay. She deserves the world. Our sweet baby.

In 2020, Oreo was adopted from Denver Dumb Friends. We quickly realized that he was more human than we were! He's smart, attentive, funny, loving, and all we could hope for in a person. Right now, he's hurt, so I'm sorry I can't write his whole story. He was attacked by 2 pit bulls this afternoon, and his injuries are life threatening. We took him to the er vet off Colfax and Colorado Blvd. They sent him home because we don't have the money to pay. These are life threatening injuries. Oreo is just as much a pay of our family as anybody else is. PLEASE PLEASE help us save him Oreo means the world to us because he makes us laugh, and listens when we need to talk. He laughs at our jokes, and gives us hugs when we need them. He's special your entire family. We need him in our lives because he makes our lives better. My grandma thinks he was a service dog because he helps her walk. Again, PLEASE PLEASE help us save him.

Always wanted held… until one day he grew up and was huge! Good evening. I am messaging about My doggie Diamond Eugene. This past year has been a rough one! He’s been through so much medically. Well about a week ago Diamond started to limp on his back left leg. He went to the vet today and confirmed that he’s ripped his acl and will need surgery. We have found a place that’s going to cost around 5000. I truly desperately need help. I want him to be happy. My doggie has a best friend a 14 year old beagle. They cannot be apart they love each other so much! When Diamond goes to the vet moonshine paces until he comes home! Diamond LOVES pineapples. Very low income. With the very cold winter I heat with all electric and my electric bill is running 6-700$ a month. I just want Diamond to be able to happy and comfortable
