Brody

Brody is a 6-year-old Dachshund in Rock Island, IL, who needs $1,100 for Prof Dental Service Canine Grade III-IV.

Rock Island, IL

Brody is our second rescue Dachshund from a local shelter. He shares the house (and couch!) with Peyton, our 13 year old Dachshund. Brody was released to the shelter by an owner who could not keep him due to her living situation. Brody is a typical younger brother and keeps Peyton on his toes, but also looks after him as Peyton is almost blind and sometimes needs a nudge in the right direction! Brody is happiest perched on my lap when I get home from work, or trotting around the neighborhood. He sleeps in our bed, and in typical Dachshund fashion burrows under the blankets! He generally wants to be where the action is, and loves supervising in the kitchen. Barking at the mailman, neighborhood dogs and the washing machine keeps his daily agenda filled! Brody has a special bond with our older dog, one minute teasing him and the next snuggling up next to him on the couch. He really does keep an eye on him, helping him to the food and water bowls and keeping him away from hazards. He has this quirk of puffing his cheeks when you are talking to him that makes me think he is slightly annoyed with his two-legged housemates! Brody, like many dachshunds, is now in need of dental surgery. His snout was swollen and when we took him for an exam they said he has multiple abscesses and needs the teeth removed. He was on antibiotics but the swelling and pain will return if the teeth are not removed. Dr. Rigg is wonderful, and we trust her implicitly to perform the surgery. In the current economic climate we are living paycheck to paycheck, but don’t want one of our four-legged family members to suffer needlessly. We don’t qualify for a payment plan, so this crowdfunding on Waggle is our best shot to help Brody.

Dallas is a 3-year-old Maltese in Torrance , CA, who needs $1,500 for Left Leg Repair.

Torrance, CA

Dallas is currently a in door dog who lives with me ( mom) and my 2 children, he was originally adopted for my daughter 3 years ago. We are a family of 4, Me-mom, my son my daughter and lastly Dallas the baby of the family, with his birthday fast approaching November 30th we would love to have him healthy again by then Dallas is the youngest of our little family, almost 3, he was adopted 3 years ago when he was just a baby pup. He was originally adopted for my daughter for emotional support from being bullied at school, Dallas gave her something to look forward to when coming home from school and little did I myself and my son realize he became more than support for just my daughter he brought us 3 closer Dallas almost immediately fell into place with our house hold, but also knew he was the baby and loves comfort, affection and most importantly-cuddles. He sleeps with us every single night and gives us all a huge welcome when we get home, my self and my 2 kids stay entertained when it comes to Dallas, we named him after our favorite football team, but unlike our team he never disappoints lol Unfortunately August 2022 my kids first day back to school Dallas was hit by a car while being let out our gated backyard to potty. His Left front leg needs surgery to repair the damage as well as after care he needs for post surgery. His vet clinic has done such an amazing job at providing the care and love Dallas needs to get through this horrible accident while caring for him July 2022 I myself was in a horrific car accident and out of work for sometime and also needed surgery to repair my injuries. Dallas is the last of my children and my son, daughter and I want nothing more than to have him healthy and home our arms

Nugget

Nugget is a 5-year-old Rottweiler in Gulfport , MS, who needs $1,200 for Spay.

Gulfport, MS

Hi, this is my best friend! My Nugget. She is my third Rottweiler and I must say one of the biggest personalities I’ve ever seen in an animal! What she means to our family is to us a lifetime of happiness! You see, my Dad, the tallest man in the world to me, unfortunately has passed away. Well five years ago he knew it was time to get a new dog. Dad and I found Nugget in Chunky, Ms. she was part of a huge litter of 10. Well Nugget is the leader around here but she never is anywhere she cannot see me. The one thing you cannot say unless you mean it is TREAT. She knows how to spell it too! So now we say we are out of Cucumbers as to not alert her. However, I’m in trouble when I go to Walmart, she knows she has a present! She’s spoiled big time! Anytime I have company, she does not care if your talking she does this low bark whine thing and demands attention. She then turns in circles and will look at her treats and back at you. She will let you know. She has woke me up barking at me if she is hungry. She is something else! So Nugget has now had two liters! First litter was eleven healthy beautiful dogs. I still have two huge males from that litter. Well she got pregnant and had her second litter June 10th this year. She is pregnant again! I still have 5 of the 7 she had. My father just passed and it’s to much! Well because of the timing and I cannot wait any longer without putting her life in danger they will Spay her and abort but they are asking 1200. Please help!

Pepper

Pepper is a 18-year-old Tabby Cat in Las Vegas, NV, who needs $1,200 for Dental Infection - Possible Extractions and/or Biopsies.

Las Vegas, NV

I adopted Pepper from PetsMart in 2004 when she was just a kitten. Little spunky furball who got my attention by meowing At me while following me from one side to another then climbing her cage and sticking her paw out at me. I knew at that moment she and I were meant to be together ❤️! I named her Pepper because of her coloring combined with her "spicy" personality. Pepper has always been a love bug, she would follow me around meowing to me as if telling me about her day or how her brother Maximus was annoying her. She is a special kitty who's been a loving companion to me. I can't imagine life without her. Pepper had always had sinus issues and when I was able to I took her to to her veterinarian. Her doctor did an X-ray of her head/skull/sinus passage ways and throughout her brain were fiber like branches of cartilage growing and weaving from her sinus cavities all throughout her brain. He said that this must have happened while she was still developing inside the her mother's womb. He said he had never seen anything like this and that there was no way of taking it out. For the past several months a small lump has been growing under her chin, she is rapidly loosing weight, and now a lump on the left cheek, inside her mouth has grown. I recently had her at her veterinarian to find out what I can do to help her. The blood work and visit cost me $400, and she still needs treatment. Since COVID-19 I have not received a raise in pay while Everything else has gone up 200%. I am a single person living on an office working pay. I need help with the treatment cost which I estimate to be over $1200. do to a recent move I don't have the $ to help her.

Buzz

Buzz is a 5-year-old Pitbull in West Creek, NJ, who needs $1,573 for Biopsy, CPL Testing, Mast Cell Very Likely.

west creek, NJ • agape love for mutts

Buzz is currently residing at one of our board members homes after being dumped by a "rescue" who had not given him vet care in over a year nor did they pay any kind of bills or supply any food/items needing for this dogs care. We finally got them to sign him over to us 3 months ago and now he is being diagnosed with mast cell most likely stage 3 or 4 because of neglegance on another rescue! Buzz is comfortable in the board members home surrounded by love, he is getting very clingy, and wanting to be with his people alot. He paws at us alot now which we aren't sure if that is him thanking us or telling us he is nearing the end:(. But we will be here with him every step of the way. Buzz is a joy to be around and also a vet favorite! What makes Buzz special? Well this dog has been through sooo much and he still comes out of it with a wagging tail, and so much love to give the world and everyone around him. He is a client favorite at our board member/trainers home and everyone has to say hi to our buzz! This dog does not have one mean bone in his body, all he wants is love and in return he has lots of love to give! He had no vetting prior to us due to the previous rescue not getting him any:(. So we did all his vetting (mind you he is 5 years old and his vaccinations were over a year out of date. After we got him we took him to a vet and they said his things were ocd, which is NOT true obviously now we understand it is most likely mast cell We are a small non profit in South Jersey who does not get any government grants, or funding. This dog we took in because we couldn't see him suffer anymore and now we are facing mast cell with our beautiful boy

Mayhem

Mayhem is a 5-year-old DSH Cat in Penns Grove, NJ, who needs $1,700 for Urinary Blockage Surgery.

Penns Grove, NJ

Mayhem came into my life when I gained an amazing bonus daughter. He ended up with a urinary blockage and was unblocked 3 times, each time he reblocked. It all happened 3 days before my bonus daughters 12th birthday. She was devastated at the thought of losing her cat. We had a PU surgery done and it was successful! He is now doing great but his bill still remains. Mayhem is the most lovable cat. He will follow you around like a dog, curl up in your lap, and he loves to talk to you. That’s how we knew something was wrong. He wasn’t talking or purring. We are so happy he is back to his normal happy self. We love that he will flow us around the house no matter where we go! He is definitely a talker, he purrs all the time! Follows us everywhere, and demands his food! He loggers everyone that he meets. He’s perfectly content curling up in your lap and taking a nap. Mayhem is a complete and total love bug and he soaks up every ounce of attention that you give to him. He’sa love. Because of his urinary issues he will be on a prescription diet for the rest of his life. We also have to monitor to make sure he continues urinating properly and doesn’t need a revision surgery. Luckily the vet let us put the bill on my account but now it needs to be paid in full. I’ve made some payments but they need the full amount now. Our income has changed and with the cost of living drastically increasing and some human medical bills on top of other vet bills we just don’t have the funds readily avaliable anymore.

Gracie

Gracie is a 3-year-old Labrador Retriever in Rural Hall, NC, who needs $2,000 for TPLO Surgery.

Rural Hall, NC

We are raising money for our first dog, Gracie. Gracie is a three year old, pure bred Labrador Retriever. I bought Gracie for my wife on our first wedding anniversary. Gracie was our first dog together and she was such a cute puppy. We named her Gracie because we both said we needed Gods grace during that time because of my wife's serious health issues. We adopted her a sister recently named River Gracie is an extremely sociable dog. She loves all people and all dogs. We do not worry at all when we have Gracie around family or other dogs. She loves it when other people come over and when we take her to the dog park she has the best time. Gracie is an inside dog as we do not believe in owning a dog and keeping it outside. While we are out, Gracie walks the house freely she is very trustful. The first time we took Gracie around water is when we discovered what it meant to own a Lab. She jumped right into the pond and we were scared but she swam like a champ. Her favorite thing to do is swim. She is also very good at catching tennis balls. My favorite talent she has is when we say "bite" she will pick up an object near her and will take it to someone else. Gracie needs to play fetch several times a day in order to sleep well. One day recently we were outside playing fetch and while she was in a full sprint she let out a big yelp. Turns out she tore a ligament in her knee. She has been limping for about a month. She has to have TPLO surgery at the Jordan Veterinary Hospital. If we do not have surgery, her other knee will go out soon. My wife and I are in full time ministry. I serve as a Christian school teacher and she is the secretary at our church. We recently moved to a new home and are still financially recovering from that. We have used all credit we have. We are in need of $4500 total.

Zoey

Zoey is a 6-year-old Labrador in La Porte, TX, who needs $2,000 for Bilateral TECA.

La Porte, TX

Zoey has been dealing with allergies and ear problems for the last couple years. We have been blessed to have received assistance before when my husband was laid off and was able to have her allergy tested where it was discovered that she has a severe allergy to yeast, which loves to breed in her ears causing major problems for our girl. We have also invest thousands of our own money into her car Zoey thinks she is just another human in the household, and we wouldn't have it any other way. We love her so much and would do anything for her. She greets everyone as they walk in the door with her tail just wagging in the wind. She is loved by many and everyone knows you can't come over without showing her some special love. Zoey is as special as they come. She knows a few tricks, including the basics of sit, rollover, paw, and she will even give a high five, Especially when she sees you have a treat in your hand ready to give her. She is so smart too. When its bath time, she runs to the tub and jumps in. And when we tell her its time to clean her ears, she runs and hides. She doesn't care for that too much. After a couple years of Hematomas and surgeries, different medication, and washes, I was told that the TECA surgery is best for Zoey. Total Ear Canal Ablation on both ears. She will lose her hearing, but at least she wont be miserable everyday. I've contacted a local hospital where she can receive this special surgery. Our finances took a huge dive recently when my husband left his job to work for another company. He moved to this company then they did not hold their end of the bargain. Because of this our finances don't have any wiggle room.
