Help Blinky Heal and Find His Way Back Home

Wakefield, MA • Paws 4 A Cure

Last week, Blinky escaped and was either hit by a car or injured by another animal. His family isn't sure exactly what happened, but they know the little dog they love came home badly hurt, with broken bones in his foot and leg. After being evaluated, Blinky's veterinarians determined that the damage to his left rear leg is so severe that amputation is necessary. His surgery is estimated to cost approximately $985, and he will also need to be neutered and receive additional care as he begins his recovery. ### Blinky came into his family's life after they learned that a friend's dog had puppies. The moment their children saw his pictures and videos, they fell in love with the adorable little ball of fur. Today, Blinky is so much more than a pet. He is their baby, their companion, and a beloved member of the family. The thought of Blinky losing his leg is heartbreaking, but his family knows that getting him out of pain and giving him the chance to heal is what matters most. They want nothing more than to see him healthy again, running and playing in the yard with the people who love him. Blinky has a difficult journey ahead, but losing a leg doesn't mean losing his ability to live a happy, active life. With the surgery and proper care, this little dog can have the chance to leave his pain behind and get back to being the playful companion his family adores. Every donation, no matter the size, brings Blinky closer to the care he desperately needs. If you're unable to donate, sharing his fundraiser can help his story reach someone who can. ### Paws 4 A Cure is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing financial assistance for urgent veterinary care to dogs and cats throughout the United States. We receive no government funding and rely entirely on the generosity of compassionate supporters. Please help Blinky get the surgery he needs and give this sweet little dog a chance to heal, run, and enjoy the life he deserves. 💜🐾

Kipper

A midnight rescue for an abandoned senior dog in terrible condition.

Harrisburg, PA • Castaway Critters, The James A. Hueholt Memorial Foundation for Animals

This little guy was a midnight save by Castaway Critters. Someone spotted him wandering the streets, and when they went to pick him up, he somehow escaped again. Then, in what feels like pure fate, he wandered directly in front of the rescuers of Castaway Critter's vehicle. Right place. Right time. Once they got him safe, they realized just how much he had been suffering. His fur was among the worst matting they'd ever seen—so severe that his feet had turned purple from restricted circulation. His nails were painfully overgrown, forcing him to walk on them instead of his paw pads. He has a painful wound on his back, a serious skin infection, significant hearing loss, and impaired vision. His teeth also desperately need attention. Their first steps were to de-flea him and scan for a microchip. And thankfully, he had one. That's when they learned this little guy is 14 years old and was once known as Kipper. Unfortunately, his owner's information is outdated. They have no idea how long he has been on his own or how he survived in this condition. But one thing is clear: an elderly, hearing-impaired, vision-impaired dog covered in severely neglected fur and overgrown nails did not simply end up this way overnight. Someone knew him. Someone was responsible for him. For now, they're focusing on getting Kipper comfortable, treating his skin infection and injuries, addressing his dental needs, and giving this senior boy the care he should have received long ago. His medical needs are significant, and Castaway Critters is asking for your help. Please consider donating toward Kipper's veterinary care, medications, grooming, dental treatment, and recovery. Every dollar, no matter the size, helps give him the comfort and dignity he deserves. We want Kipper to know that his life matters—and that from this point forward, he is safe.

Help Harper Battle Severe Arthritis

Chelsea, MI • Barn Sanctuary

Harper has always been a fighter. When she was just a tiny baby turkey, a local farm store employee reached out to Barn Sanctuary for help, afraid she wouldn’t survive. Harper was given the chance she desperately needed, and with plenty of love and dedicated care, she grew into the happy, beloved turkey she is today. Now, Harper needs help once again. After noticing that Harper developed a limp, a veterinary exam revealed severe arthritis in her left foot, particularly in her middle toe. Her caregivers began closely monitoring her condition, hoping they could keep her comfortable and prevent it from progressing. Unfortunately, the swelling in Harper’s foot has increased significantly. She returned to the veterinarian for radiographs and additional diagnostic testing, and the results brought difficult news: the arthritis had become much worse. Because Harper’s middle toe plays an important role in bearing her weight, amputation isn’t a viable treatment option. Her bones will continue to degenerate, which means there isn’t a surgical fix that can make this problem disappear. Instead, Harper’s veterinary team is focusing on what matters most now: keeping her comfortable and giving her the best quality of life possible. Her medication must be increased to help manage her pain as her arthritis progresses. For a sanctuary caring for rescued animals like Harper, the cost of ongoing veterinary care and medication can quickly add up. Harper was once a tiny, sick turkey whose future was uncertain. She fought her way through those difficult early days and grew into a healthy, happy bird surrounded by people who love her. We want to make sure that as she faces this new challenge, she continues to receive that same level of care. Your donation will help provide Harper with the veterinary care and medication she needs to stay comfortable. Every contribution, no matter the amount, helps give this special girl more comfortable days ahead.

Theo

Theo is a 5 year old American Shorthair in houston, , who needs $500 for Urethral Obstruction Surgery.

houston

My name is Lene, and I am writing to ask, from the bottom of my heart, if anyone is willing to helping me save my beloved cat, Theo.Theo has been my best friend and constant companion for over 5 years. I raised him from the time he was a tiny kitten, and throughout every chapter of my life, he has been by my side. He has been my comfort during my hardest days and one constant that never failed me Unfortunately, Theo has struggled with recurring urinary tract issues, including UTIs and urinary blockages. Earlier this year, he underwent an emergency procedure to unblock his urinary tract, which totaled $1,503. While I did everything I could to prevent something this awful from happening again, he has now suffered another blockage and urgently requires a second lifesaving procedure. As difficult as my circumstances have been, Theo has always been the reason I keep going. He has been there through every disappointment, every accomplishment, every tear, and every smile. He greets me at the door after work, curls up beside me when I'm overwhelmed, and reminds me every day what unconditional love looks like. The thought of losing him because I cannot afford the treatment he needs I am only 23 years old and am in school. I work as much as I possibly can, but despite my efforts, I am struggling financially. I simply do not have the means to pay for another emergency surgery of this magnitude. I am reaching out to you with humility, hope to provide any
