Nui is a 9 year old Plott Hound in Placerville, CA, who needs $12,000 for Emergency Tetanus Treatment.

Nui (New E) was a return rescue pup when we saw him. We knew he was the one. He is a Plott Hound breed. He is out life and has a wonderful soul! He has move with us from Hawaii to Arizona then to California. He love to play ball wrestle with his brothers and bark at the leaf that just fell in the yard! Nui is currently under care at Insight El Dorado Hills for what the vet thinks is Tetanus. He has a feeding tube and has had a transfusion of blood. The vet is giving him a good chance of survival, but the funds are tight for us we are currently at around $12,000.00 and counting. This started because the original vet overdosed him on meds and didn't find anything wrong. He loves to play ball, wrestling with his brothers. Loves long walks and cuddles. He goes on high alert when a leaf falls off a tree or a car come down the road. But absolutely loves people. This is an unexpected hit to the bank and the cost are mounting by the day to save our boys life. He is about kid we would do anything for him and we will try anyway at this point to make that happen. To have him home and be able to play with his brother or his ball.

Millie’s Second Chance: Healing Two Painful Knees

Meet Millie, a beautiful 3 year old brindle Pit Bull mix in the care of Franklin County Humane Society. For more than a year, Millie has been on a journey filled with challenges, healing, and hope as she waits for the forever family she deserves. When Millie first arrived at the shelter, she was shy and unsure of her new surroundings. As the team got to know her, they discovered there was more behind her hesitation: Millie was living with severe pain in both of her knees. To give her the chance at a comfortable and active life, Millie underwent two major knee surgeries. She then spent months recovering in foster care, where she was given the time, patience, and support she needed to heal. Through it all, Millie has shown just how resilient she is. Today, she has blossomed into a happy, affectionate girl whose tail rarely seems to stop wagging. She loves being around people and gets along wonderfully with both dogs and cats. She enjoys playing fetch, going for car rides, enthusiastically destroying her stuffed toys, and ending the day curled up on the couch with her favorite person. Franklin County Humane Society has been there for Millie throughout her medical journey, making sure she received the treatment and care she needed. Jack in I live in my trailer in Solon, OH. I take him to the dog park in Mentor almost every day. He enjoys the exercise and has many doggy friends there. Jack is three years old, I adopted him when he was one. He is my companion. Jack has two blocked saliva glands. his lips, chin and neck are swelled up like a frog. he needs a surgery to remove the glands. med vet Cleveland is getting us in as soon as possible. Which will be this Thursday, August 20, 2026. Jack has a special girl dog he especially loves named Tika at the mentor dog park. She is in a picture featured above. Jack adores my three grandsons and one granddaughter. He is a wonderful, good boy. When I first got him, he was terrified of everyone, but now he isn’t recognizable from the dog I adopted from the humane society 2 years ago. I am on a fixed income from Social Security. I was rendered disabled in my early 60s from multiple back and neck surgeries. I bring home $31100 a year or $2592 a month. that money is all allocated to trailer lot rent, bills, medical expenses, and food.

Trouble was part of a large colony at the property where I started working this year. I found out he just recovered from a snakebite without medical attention and I noticed concerning behaviors that caused me to move him into my home. I really want to make sure he isn't in any pain. Trouble miraculously recovered from a snakebite to his back leg without vet help but I believe there are possibly some neurological issues. His vision is definitely compromised and from what I've learned there are behavioral changes as well. He doesn't seem to be in any pain but cats notoriously hide their pain. I'm also worried about it being degenerative. Trouble is so sweet despite what he's been through. He is very gentle with my daughters and loves sleeping on the couch next to my 5 yr old. He doesn't even lash out when his recent vision loss creates scary situations or jump scares. He just cowers or runs away and that breaks my heart. He is welcome to be a lap kitty with is the rest of his life but I want to make sure I'm doing all I can. I'm a single mom of 2 young daughters. I lost a very good job last year and then an accident took our car. We now live on the property I work at in a temp building and love it here but since I'm still digging us out of that hole it isn't possible for me to afford vet care.

Kevin

Kevin is a 1 year old American Shorthair in Springfield, , who needs $221 for Initial Visit.

Kevin came to us as part of a litter of kittens whose mom was hit by a car. His brother led them out of hiding after a few days and we spent weeks bottle feeding them day and night. Their eyes had not even changed yet they were so young and tiny. Kevin lives with some of his siblings and is loved immensely. Kevin won our hearts with his sweet demeanor and the way he looked at us. We noticed Kevin wobbling and took him to the vet, they said it looked like toxicity. We contacted poison control, but aren't certain what he could have got into. He underwent 3 days of IV treatments which helped but did not solve the problem completely, he's still wobbly. He will be going to Blue Pearl Pet Hospital to see a specialist. We took his brother Vlad there in an emergency and trust them Kevin loves to play with his siblings, with us, with toys, and loves cuddles. He will let us carry him around and he nuzzles. He's always nearby. He doesn't miss a meal. He has always had the sweetest demeanor and won our hearts and bonded with us quickly. He like to attack toes and anything that moves under a blanket. He's full of personality. He brings us joy and love and isn't shy about it. Due to my health combined with rising expenses we need help. We have another cat we are also seeking help for named Stripe. They are siblings and both started to wobble at the same time. I hate seeing him unable to be fully himself and we would be immensely grateful for help

Q-Bert

Q-Bert came into my life 14 years ago (2012) as one of two 1 year old kittens given to me and my partner as a gift from a friend. I was a stressed out college student as an 18 year old. Q-Bert quickly became my official ESA (emotional support animal) because he started doing DPT (deep pressure therapy) on his own. Q-Bert needs urgent dental surgery. This includes a couple extractions of certain teeth. The vet has given him a 4/4 grade in need of surgery at True Companions Veterinary Clinic (formerly: Max Fund). His mouth is currently very painful. He shows signs of pain while eating, so I am trying to raise funds as quickly as possible for him. It breaks my heart to see him in pain. Q-Bert is a very special guy. He is a lover boy who never treats anyone as a stranger. He is instantly wanting to rub and love on anyone. His favorite activity is to cuddle. Q-Bert will be vocal to obtain these cuddles. At 15 he is still doing deep pressure therapy for me. Due to being disabled and on disability, I am on a fixed income. Last month we were told that Q-Bert would need a major dental surgery with multiple extractions. This came as a surprise to us in the form of an urgent dental infection about a month ago.

Hendrixx is my French Bulldog and has been part of our family for nearly two years. He lives with me and my two children and is truly part of our everyday lives. His name, Hendrixx, reflects his big personality and the special place he holds in my heart. He is deeply bonded to our family and is rarely far from my side. Hendrixx’s February records note IVDD as the suspected condition, but I was recently told it has not been formally confirmed. He recently lost use of his back legs again. He needs evaluation by a veterinary neurologist, advanced imaging, and possibly surgery to confirm the diagnosis and determine the best treatment plan. Hendrixx is much more than a pet—he is my psychiatric service dog, my comfort, and a loved member of our family. He is affectionate, loyal, silly, and always wants to be close. My children adore him, and his presence brings calm and comfort into our home. Even while struggling physically, he still shows the same loving personality that makes him so special. I recently started a new job and had to take emergency leave when Hendrixx suddenly lost the use of his back legs. I already pay for pet insurance, but the out-of-pocket costs for a neurologist, imaging, treatment, and possible surgery are beyond what I can manage alone.

I found my little Miyu outside in my back yard during a very hot summer day. She was so tiny and hiding behind a little plant pot to keep out of the sun. The local cat group she hailed from was nowhere in sight. I took her in for the day, and put her out again later. But ultimately I ended up keeping her inside. We've been together for four years now. Her name comes from the sound of her meow. She recently had babies, about 10 days ago now. She lost 2, unfortunately, but she has two little ginger babies, as you can see in the images. They all seem to be doing well, except I noticed an odd discharge and her teets don't seem to be as full as they should be. I'm not the doctor here, so I want to get her examined, but I do not have any funds right now. Miyu is a highly affectionate and talkative kitty. She has had a couple small litters before and has always been a good mother. She doesn't fight and cause trouble like some cats do. She's quiet unless she wants food or some lovins. My husband lost a job several months ago due to an injury but has started a new job. I am still in my 6 week recovery window from having a hysterectomy and oophorectomy. I had to go back to work around week 3 because we needed money for bills. I don't have funds for a vet.

Help Tank Get Back on His Feet

Tank should be running, playing, and enjoying life with the family who loves him. Instead, he is struggling to walk comfortably because he has torn cranial cruciate ligaments (CCLs) in both knees. ### Tank's problems began with a limp and difficulty using one of his back legs. When his condition continued to worsen, veterinary evaluations revealed that both of his knees were affected by CCL tears. Because Tank is young and weighs 70 pounds, these injuries have severely impacted his mobility and quality of life. His veterinarians have recommended TPLO surgery to stabilize his knees and help him regain comfortable, functional movement. Tank will need surgery on both knees. The estimated cost is approximately $5,000 per knee, with the first surgery needed for the completely torn ligament and the second planned about two months later. He will also need follow-up care and rehabilitation during his recovery. ### Tank isn't just a pet—he is his mom's companion and family. Watching such a young dog struggle to walk, play, and enjoy everyday activities has been heartbreaking. His mom has been doing everything she can to keep him comfortable while searching for a way to afford the surgeries he desperately needs. Now, she is asking for help raising $5,000 toward Tank's first surgery. Tank has so much life ahead of him. He just needs a chance to get moving again.
