Eight hours later, on the drive home, they were still there—waiting, scared, and alone. Somewhere along the way, Ellie suffered a serious injury, and they believe she may have been hurt when she was thrown from the car. Now, this sweet girl is facing a major surgery that will cost between $2,000 and $3,000.
