Cookie Beat One Surgery. Now She Needs Your Help to Finish Her Fight

Wakefield, MA • Paws 4 A Cure

Eleven-year-old Cookie has been by her mom's side since the very beginning. Her mom helped deliver Cookie when she was born, and from that day forward, the tiny Chihuahua became more than a pet—she became family, a constant source of love through life's highest highs and lowest lows. Recently, that bond was put to the test. What started as a small lump on Cookie's abdomen quickly grew larger, leading veterinarians to diagnose mammary masses. Her family knew she needed surgery, but when Cookie was finally in the operating room, the veterinary team discovered the tumor was much larger than expected. The procedure became more extensive than anyone had anticipated, requiring a much larger incision and significantly increasing the cost of her care. Thankfully, Cookie made it through surgery and is now on the road to recovery. Her devoted mom is incredibly grateful to everyone who has already helped make this lifesaving procedure possible, but she's still left with a remaining veterinary balance of $482 that she cannot cover on her own. "She is my best friend, my ride or die," her mom shares. "She has been there with me at my best and my worst. She is the light of my life. Her energy and quirkiness are the best." After sharing more than a decade together, Cookie deserves the chance to heal without her family carrying the overwhelming burden of unexpected veterinary costs. Your tax-deductible donation—no matter the size—will help cover the remaining cost of Cookie's surgery so her mom can focus on what matters most: helping her beloved best friend recover. If you're unable to give today, sharing Cookie's campaign can make all the difference. Together, we can help this sweet senior Chihuahua continue enjoying the love and life she's shared with her family since the day she was born.

Se7en

Se7en is a 5 year old Cane Corso in Clayton , NC, who needs $4,500 for Foreign Body Removal.

Clayton, NC

Se7en came into our lives as a dedicated service and mobility animal for my fiancé, who lives with PTSD. As a veteran household, both my partner and I served our country, and Se7en immediately became an essential pillar of support. Over the years, he has lived with us alongside his Boerbel sister, Angel, who adores her "bubby." They are completely inseparable household companions. Se7en is facing a life-threatening emergency at Animal Emergency Hospital & Urgent Care in Raleigh, NC. He has a severe intestinal foreign body blockage requiring immediate emergency surgery (gastrotomy/enterotomy) to save his life. The estimate is $9,002.61, and the clinic requires an upfront deposit before proceeding. We attached his emergency X-rays to show his exact condi Se7en is the anchor of our home. I am a neurodivergent mom raising two neurodivergent sons—one with autism and Down syndrome, and my youngest with autism and ADHD. Se7en expanded from a mobility service dog for my veteran partner to a protector for our whole family. He grounds my boys during meltdowns, provides mobility support, and gives my partner independence. He is the rock that keeps us whole As a veteran family facing severe unexpected medical disabilities, we cannot afford the mandatory $4,500 upfront deposit without putting our children at risk of losing our housing. Waggle paying the clinic directly is our lifeline to save our service boy.

Princess

Princess is a 1 year old Mix-Breed in Calhan, CO, who needs $14,000 for Blood Transfusions.

Calhan, CO

Princess came into my life and quickly became so much more than a pet—she became family, my best friend, and a piece of my heart. From the moment she joined our family, she has brought so much love, comfort, happiness, and joy into our home. She has always had such a sweet and loving personality, and she has a special way of making everyone around her feel loved. I am doing everything I possibly can to give Princess the care and chance she deserves, but the unexpected emergency expenses have become overwhelming. I am asking for help because I refuse to give up on her while she is still fighting. Every donation, no matter the amount, could help provide the lifesaving treatment, hospitalization, and continued care Princess needs. Southern Rockies animal ER She has always been one of my babies, she interacts with family like she is super excited to see us. She is loving, gentle and super happy all around, and is a huge mommy’s girl and I refuse to give up on her when she needs me the most. God put her in my life for a reason and I don’t want to loose her at all. She loves going for car rides and swimming! I don’t make that much and it will mean more than world to have her back home and healthy again. Now, during the most difficult moment of her life, I am hoping others will help us give some of that love back to her. She is not “just a dog.” She is family, she is deeply loved
