We recently moved out of a poor situation where the animals in the household were mistreated and improperly cared for. He was stressed out constantly by the other pets and forced to stay outside by family members when I was not home. We have only been in our new place for less than a year, but Domino's health has improved amazingly and he is happy and emergetic again. He has a kitty roommate, too! I first noticed noisy breathing that got worse overtime and trouble inhaling. After an inital visit at Mill Creek Animal Hospital and a referral to Boreal Veterinary Centre, I found out he may have a laryngeal mass blocking his airway. He is considered high-risk for sedation because of the blockage, which is needed for his larygeal exam, CT scan, and rhinoscopy. All urgently needed treatments. He is such a clingy goober. Loves to pretend not to care, but will follow you into every room (including bathroom) and watch the perimeter. If you're sitting or laying down, expect a lap warmer to join you. His favourite toys are his bacon & eggs set that he beats up before munching on them until they're soaked. Also he believes the KFC slogan applies to all fingers and will sample all of yours. I've been battling health issues, both physical and mental, that make it difficult to work consistently. With the recent move and the rising cost of everything, I'm doing everything I can to pay off debts and find money for my son's care and for his future care as well.

Baxter came into my life when he was 10 weeks old in 2022 as a foster. He made it VERY clear to us all where he wanted home to be, after many failed adoption events and meet & greets, April 2023 on my birthday, he became my guy. When I am home, he is glued to my side. Don't know how I did life before him. On Friday when I got home from work, I noticed he wasnt putting his foot down. I was told by a vet that he tore is ACL. I followed up with a second opinion with Parker Road Vet in Wylie, Texas. He will need surgery to repair it and I live paycheck to paycheck and sometimes go negative. He is the most gentle, loving pup and he knows when I need his love. He gets excited when my son walks into the room because he knows he is about to get belly rubs, which are his favorite. Money is tight. I support my house and our rescued pets, whom we love with all our hearts. This is our first medical incident, I just dont have the money. I cant get credit, I am on a credit program. I love Baxter and not ready to have to say goodbye because I cant pay.

Duke

Duke is a 1 month old French Bulldog in Kansas City, MO, who needs $4,000 for Continuous Oxygen.

Duke is a 5 week old French Bulldog puppy. His mom is our dog too. Her name is Lady. Since his mom is ours too we have had him since the time he was born and have cared for him ever since. This is an emergency situation where Duke needed immediate care and has been hospitalized for a couple of days now. He is doing well but they are still wanting to keep him on oxygen which costs between $800-$1000 per day at Mission Emergency Vet. Duke is the sweetest little boy who loves to snuggle and play. He loves it most when I hold him and last night when I went to visit him at the hospital that is all he wanted but he has to settle for just some snuggles. His mom misses him so much and just wants him back home. We all want him back home. The house isn’t the same without him there. This was an unexpected major expense. It was an accident but I feel terrible. We had him on the bed and I turned my head for no more than 30 seconds to talk to someone and in that time he fell off the bed. We are lucky he is expected to make a full recovery.

Duke is our beloved young pit bull and has been part of our family since he was a puppy. He lives with our family and has always been our loyal protector, constant companion, and a source of unconditional love. His gentle nature, unwavering loyalty, and joyful spirit have made him an irreplaceable member of our family. Duke is truly more than a pet—he is family. Duke is being treated through VCA Loomis Basin Hospital after a large mass developed on his left chest wall near his rib. A fine-needle aspirate identified a malignant spindle cell tumor with osteosarcoma as the primary concern. Additional diagnostics, including a CT scan and biopsy, have been recommended to determine the exact diagnosis and treatment options. Duke has the gentlest heart and loves everyone he meets. He greets us each day with a wagging tail and is always by our side. He loves going for walks, playing at the dog parks, and simply being wherever his family is. Even while facing cancer, Duke continues to fill our home with happiness, comfort, and unconditional love. His resilient spirit and sweet nature are unmatchable. Our family of eight has experienced unexpected financial hardships that have made Duke's cancer diagnostics and treatment impossible to afford on our own. Despite our best efforts, the cost of his care is beyond what we can manage. Any support would give Duke the opportunity

Lilly’s Story and Medical Need Lilly came into my life during one of the hardest times of my life, when I was struggling with my health, mental health, and an uncertain future. After being through five homes and facing surrender to a shelter, she found a home with me and grew from a frail 4-pound dog into a healthy 9-pound companion. Lilly gave me hope when I needed it most, and now I am doing everything I can to help her in return. About two years ago, Lilly was diagnosed with small masses that were thought to be harmless fatty deposits. Last year, they began growing, and testing could not determine whether they are cancerous. She has been referred to the Bridge Animal Referral Center (BARC) in Edmonds, WA, for a double mastectomy and further biopsies, with an estimated surgery cost of $6,974.87. I work as a paraeducator and am currently on L&I while awaiting ACL surgery, which will leave me with limited income during recovery. Despite applying for additional jobs, I have not found work. My girlfriend, a teacher, also has limited income and works part-time. We are selling belongings and doing all we can, but we can’t raise the full amount fast enough alone. Donations will help cover Lilly’s surgery and medication so we can schedule care and give her the life she deserves. Lilly is insured, but the surgery must be paid for before it can be scheduled. Lilly is family and a beloved companion who has brought hope during difficult times, and I am doing all I can to help her.

We named him after a cottenball because he looks just like one. He was a little stingy with mommas milk until he got sick but we still love him The bill for his surgery is around 1000. It'll help him eat and breath but there's a chance he could still die. His bloodsugar is very low and he's very weak. I hate seeing him like this so as a last resort I made this post.

Adora is our beloved Yorkshire Terrier and a cherished member of our family. She shares a special bond with my disabled, retired veteran father, who lives with us and loves her dearly. Her companionship brings him comfort, joy, and unconditional love every day. She is truly part of our family, and we are devoted to giving her the best life possible. Adora was rushed to Pembroke Veterinary Hospital after a puppy became lodged in the birth canal during labor. Dr. David Brooks performed an emergency Cesarean section to save her life. Two puppies survived, but sadly one did not. She is recovering after this life-saving emergency surgery, and we are seeking help with the remaining veterinary expenses. Adora has a sweet, gentle personality and loves being with her family. She greets everyone with excitement, enjoys cuddling, and brings comfort and happiness to our home every day. Seeing her fight through this emergency has reminded us just how much she means to us, and we can’t imagine life without her. Adora’s emergency surgery was completely unexpected. We paid a $1,000 deposit immediately, but we still have a remaining balance we cannot afford after being denied financing. Any assistance will go directly toward her veterinary care and help bring her home.

Luna is a 6-year-old dog who lives with my fiancé and me in our apartment with a patio in San Diego. We adopted her just before COVID, and she has been a cherished member of our family ever since. She is an indoor dog who enjoys spending time with us and being part of our daily routines. Luna was recently diagnosed with acute glaucoma in both eyes and has already lost vision in one eye. She is receiving treatment through Veterinary Specialty Hospital (VSH) in San Diego. Her condition requires ongoing medications and specialty eye care, with surgery recommended to help preserve the vision she has remaining. Luna has been our therapy dog and constant source of comfort through life's challenges. She is incredibly smart, came to us already potty trained, and has a quirky personality that often reminds us of a cat. Even my parents, who never liked dogs, completely fell in love with her after meeting her. Luna's diagnosis came as a complete shock and created significant financial strain. The recommended surgery is about $10,000, with medications costing $200 every two weeks. Luna is the bright spot in our lives, and preserving her vision would mean everything to our family.

Our sweet cat has been a beloved member of our family since she was a kitten. She lives indoors with us and is surrounded by love every day. She has always been healthy, playful, and affectionate, making this sudden medical emergency completely unexpected and heartbreaking for our family. Only a year old. Our cat was rushed to Charleston Veterinary Referral Center after suddenly losing the use of her back leg due to a blood clot. Veterinarians believe it was caused by a transient heart condition, possibly triggered by an infection. Although her heart is improving, her leg cannot be saved, and an amputation is medically necessary to give her the best chance at a full recovery. She is more than a pet...she is family. She greets us every morning, follows us from room to room, and loves curling up beside us at the end of the day. She has the sweetest personality and brings so much comfort and happiness to our home. We can't imagine life without her. She owns the house and will never leave your sight. This emergency happened without warning, and the cost of her hospitalization and surgery is far beyond what we can afford. Any assistance would help us give her the life-saving care she needs and bring her home where she belongs. We are incredibly grateful for any support.
