Simba Lost 40 Pounds. Help This 165-Pound Love Bug Recover.

Simba was our happy, easygoing boy who had just arrived at Great Pyrenees Rescue, Montana (GPRM) from California. Then, suddenly, he stopped eating. Over the next several weeks, Simba went in and out of the vet as we searched for answers. He received IV fluids, bloodwork, ultrasounds, X-rays, appetite stimulants, and medications. Meanwhile, we tried just about every food and topper we could think of to tempt him to eat. Nothing worked. Simba continued to drink water, but no matter how delicious we made his meals, he simply wouldn’t eat. In just a few weeks, he lost roughly 40 pounds. Watching a dog slowly decline while you keep going back to the vet and still don’t have answers is one of the hardest parts of rescue. All we could do was keep trying, keep advocating for Simba, and hope we would finally find the cause. Finally, we did. Simba was diagnosed with prostatitis and started on the appropriate medication. What a difference an answer can make. Simba has already gained back more than 20 pounds, and we couldn’t be more relieved to see our big boy eating again, gaining weight, and getting his happy personality back. At approximately 165 pounds, Simba is a big boy with an even bigger heart. 😂 He’s an absolute couch potato who loves people, affection, and belly rubs. This ultimate love bug was rescued alongside his sister, Nala, and he deserves to get back to feeling his best. But Simba still has a way to go. After losing roughly 40 pounds and going through weeks of illness and veterinary visits, he needs time to rebuild his strength and continue his recovery. His progress so far is incredibly encouraging, but he still has ground to make up after everything his body has been through. Now we need your help. Between veterinary visits, diagnostic testing, medications, and all the special foods and toppers we tried along the way, GPRM spent $2,801.32 getting Simba through this difficult illness. These expenses add up quickly in rescue, especially when there are so many other dogs depending on us. Clifford is not my dog he is my best friend and my emotional support. He is a very intelligent dog very out going. I got him when his mother had puppies witch was my girlfriend's dog she had 12 of them but he just melted my heart so I had to keep him he means the world to me. He has a bad broken back leg and he needs to have it amputated.i have got a few places I am calling to try and get him good help at a good price I hope as soon as I get the one I will let everyone know I love him very much. This dog is always the first one to try and pick me up when I get down always happy when I get back from any where I have been he is just a loving boy. I have been out of work and have had no help to get by. And now I have found a new job which I hope to be starting on the 10/12/2026 and it couldn't have happened at the worst time because I just can't get the money to get my best friend the help he really needs I fill like iam letting him down.

I first met her when she was a puppy, she was abused and I had saved her from that home. Shes been here for 11 years. when I was 16 I had gotten pregnant against my will and was forced to carry to term and chose to give that baby up for adoption, Coco was the only thing that got me through that because I was unable to bring my baby girl home but I was able to come home to my baby girl Coco. I had just dealt with a domestic violence issue and my dad being the abuser was forced out of the house she has been trying to adjust to him not being here and in that had taken a whole chicken leg and might need surgery. She is everything to me after my mother died and my grandmother had went to the nursing home and my dad was.. I had to get an order of protection against my dad she is all I have left I am currently trying to get a job but we suddenly went from a double income household to a single income household so this being such an emergency it's absolutely important that we get as much help as we can for her

She is a very healthy, active, and intelligent dog, with the sweetest soul and the biggest heart. She truly is the goodest girl ever! ❤️ She was originally a gift for an 8-year-old little girl, and over the years, she became so much more than just a pet. She became family. And now, in a beautiful way, she has become a gift to me, too. 🐾 My girl is in the ICU after being hit by a vehicle and suffering a severe leg wound. Thankfully, she has no fractures, but she needs ongoing wound care and follow-up visits. I’ve paid her ER bill with my credit cards, but financial difficulties mean I can only afford one night in the hospital. Any help with her recovery would mean the world to us. She is family, a source of unconditional love, and a precious soul who trusts me to protect her. She has given us years of love, loyalty, and happiness without ever asking for anything in return except to be loved. Seeing her hurt and knowing she depends on me to keep her safe is heartbreaking. I want to give her the comfort, medical care, and chance to heal that she deserves. As a single mom, I’m doing everything I can to help my girl recover. I adopted Chaos, at 6 weeks from a home that giving him up. I was hoping that he would help our other dog Whiskey with the loss of his son. Whiskey took on a both parental / brother roll in Chaos life, as Chaos looked up to him and mimiced his mannerisms, but was just as much his own personality. And so for 7 years the story of Whiskey and Chaos began, and what a story it was. We rushed him to the ER after he became ll, hed never been sick, he seemed off after the lost of brother 2 months ago. They did X Ray's he had an enlarged heart, in heart failure, he needs to see a cardiologist, or at the very least additional blood work and imaging to figure out what medicine or treatment will help. Rockingham Vetinary was the ER, Canobie Vet will be his primary. Hes our everything, my son JoJo, whom has cardiac issues and heart failure. That's his brother Chaos, he just lost his other brother Whiskey 2 months ago. He lost his grandmother, his Aunt and alot if his closest adults in the last few years. Jojo was given 5 years to live with his cardiac issues, hes now 23. Chaos is 7 hes young, hes got the will and fight, just like Jojo, they'll do it together I had a medical emergency/major surgery 11 months ago & complications. 2nd surgery 8 months ago. My first concern was taking care of them, i tried to work at the same pace, it almost killed me. For the first time in my life I just need some help for my precious boy

I adopted Parker from a situation where his human had Alzheimer’s and Parker needed a home. He’s 14 and is just the sweetest cat I’ve ever known. He’s been with me for 5 years. Parker has been my constant companion for those five years. Parker has a large tumorous mass on the left side of his neck. I didn’t notice it for some time because his fur is so thick in the area. But it grew larger quickly and is now very large and looks very bad. And now it’s starting to bleed, which is very concerning. He visited the vet and got an estimate for surgery. But it is beyond my financial ability, so I ask for your help. When I adopted him from a difficult situation, we bonded almost immediately. At 14, he’s still got a lot of love to give, and lots of scratches and pets to receive. I want him to be around for as long as possible. He just so special to me, and deeply bonded. I’m a retired person living on Social Security. My normal expenses are met, including all cat food and supplies. But the cost of surgery is prohibitive, and I don’t have the time to save for many months. Parker needs help ASAP.

Stella was once a homeless cat until I rescued her and gave her a loving home. She’s the sweetest, cuddliest girl, and more than she knows, she’s saved my life too. She’s family, my comfort, and a piece of my heart. Now I want to do everything I can to save hers. Stella has been diagnosed with a tumor on her mammary gland and needs surgery to have it removed. The procedure is expensive, and I’m struggling to cover the cost on my own. I’m doing everything I can to get her the treatment she needs and give her the best chance at a healthy life. Her veterinary clinic is helping us navigate her care. Stella is more than a pet; she’s family. I rescued her when she was homeless, but she ended up saving my life, too. She’s been my comfort through some of my hardest moments, and her cuddles mean the world to me. She deserves a second chance at life, just like I gave her. I want more time with my sweet girl.
