Pepper is a vibrant 5-year-old Chihuahua mix who has been my constant shadow and loyal teammate for years. She came into my life when I needed companionship the most, and she quickly took over the household with her fierce, loving personality. Despite her tiny size, she has the biggest heart and greets me every single day like I am the most important person in the world. Pepper was suddenly bitten by a rattlesnake, which is a life-threatening emergency for a dog of her size. The venom caused immediate, severe swelling and excruciating pain. She requires emergency antivenom treatment, intensive monitoring, and supportive care to survive. She is currently being treated by the emergency team at Salado Veterinary Hospital & Urgent Care. As a military veteran, Pepper is much more than just a pet to me; she is my emotional anchor and my daily comfort. She has a unique way of knowing exactly when I am stressed and will curl right up against me to ground me. Our bond is built on absolute trust and loyalty. Watching her fight this venom breaks my heart, and her recovery means everything to my entire world. The life-saving treatment estimate is between $1,700 and $2,700. Living on a fixed veteran budget, this sudden medical crisis is financially devastating. While I was approved for a financing line, the monthly payments are entirely out of reach and would cause a severe financial crisis. I am turning to the community for help so I don't have to face losing my companion over a bill.

I adopted Mugen 10 years ago as a kitten during a very difficult time in my life while I was recovering from surgery myself. He has been there for me through everything and he is my best friend. He is the sweetest cat on earth and everybody falls in love with his goofy eyes and sweet disposition. His favorite food is cheese, and he loves nothing more than being right on your lap for cuddles and TV Mugen suffered an accidental fall and is in unknown condition. He has some pulmonary contusions that the vet thinks/hopes will heal on his own, but he is not wanting to use his back legs and they fear total or partial paralyzation. He needs an MRI and advanced neurological care to tell. His Xrays did not show any broken bones. He is my best friend and my whole world. He has been there for me for the hardest parts of my life and he is my emotional service animal for my anxiety disorder and clinical depression. He is such a blessing and such a sweetheart. He deserves the best and it breaks my heart that I dpn't have all the money in the world to save him myself. I have been struggling some time. Last summer I was on unemployment due to an injury and I never financially recovered. I struggle to pay my basic bills and eat. I was just hired to be an asssistant teacher at a Pre-K school, but I have not started

Gideon is my youngest of 4 dogs and the only boy in the household. My family is literally just me and my dogs, they are my kids. I got Gideon right after my other male cavalier of 13 years passed away and I felt it was a sign when I seen his picture and video being shared by a friend on Facebook. He’s a goofy, wild obnoxious guy at home, but in public he is quite the gentleman and very mannerly. Gideon recently dug up Kingston’s grave in the backyard to where he was able to get a piece of the towel that he was buried in. He unfortunately ate a piece of the towel and it got wrapped around his intestines and he could not pass it. He became extremely lethargic with vomiting, it required emergency surgery or he was going to lose his life. Countryside Animal Hospital has taken care of him. All my animals mean the world to me, but Gideon is the baby and I feel like a part of Kingston sent him to me. My house would feel empty without him and so quiet. I would do anything for my dogs as I said to me they are my kids. I am only asking for help because this was very unexpected. I am a single income family and already have 2 jobs to support myself. I would be very appreciative of anything at all anyone could give to help with my boys surgery cost. It would mean the absolute world to me.

Mia is a fun loving girl! I adopted her 10 years ago when I lived in Florida. She came from an abusive male owner who was ready to throw her away. After she came to live with me she was withdrawn and aggressive to all males. After much love and patience, she has blossomed into this sweet girl who loves everyone and is especially fond of her kitty brothers and sisters. Mia fell off the bed and broker her right front let at the shoulder. After an emergency vet visit and consultation with her primary vet, amputation of the limb is suggested to give her the best of her golden years. Brandywine is her primary vet and will be performing her surgery. Mia is so special, she has overcome so my obstacles and has helped me through many tough times in my life. Mia was there when I lost my granny, my brother, and my uncle giving me all the cuddles and love. She has a heart murmur, she had an 8lb tumor removed from her abdomen, and now her broken leg. She is a tough cookie. Mia is my shadow and does not wonder far. She deserves the best. With emergency vet bills and consultation and surgery, it is more than I can afford. We have a single income household and every cent counts. I want what is best for Mia giving her the chance to be pain free and the best chance of an active golden era.

Dot is my best friend my companion, and a piece of my heart. He has loved me unconditionally for seven years, and the thought of him hurting while I struggle to afford the care he needs is heartbreaking. I just want the chance to help him the way he has always helped me simply by being there. Our family isn’t the same without our happy, loving Dot, and his recovery would mean everything to us. A couple of months ago, I noticed a large bulge developing around his groin/testicular area. Seeing this change has been very concerning because Dot has always been such a happy and loving part of our family. Dot needs to be examined by a veterinarian to determine exactly what is causing the swelling and what treatment is necessary. Dot will be receiving care through Scarbrough Animal Hospital. Dot is more than just my dog he is family. He has filled my home with unconditional love, comfort, and happiness for seven years and has been by our side through so many moments in life. Seeing him go through this is heartbreaking. His recovery means everything to us because we simply want him healthy, comfortable, and back to being the happy, loving Dot we know and cherish. Asking for help is very difficult for me, but right now I’m struggling financially and simply don’t have enough money available to cover Dot’s vet care. After taking care of my regular household expenses there is very little left over.

Busta move is always busting a move. He is hyper happy dog. He likes to play. He thinks he's a man of the house. I love to have all attention. He don't like anyone else. I have intention. He gets really jealous and he will pout and cry if he don't get detention that he wants. He's really spoil rotten but I wouldn't have any other way prolapsed third eyelid gland replacement (or cherry eye repair) and a caudectomy (which is the medical term for a tail amputation or tail shortening). my heart is breaking because Buster is in severe pain and desperately needs medical care. He has a condition called "cherry eye" that is severely impacting his eyesight, and he has also suffered a painful tail fracture. He has completely lost his happy, go-lucky personality and barely wants to move because he hurts so much. He's not his happy-go-lucky self lately, always playing with his toys. He is currently facing two painful health crises: he desperately needs surgery to repair a severe fracture in his tail, and he has a cherry eye condition that is impacting his eyesight. It's breaks my heart to see him in constant pain.
