Freya found us on Monday September 21. We had never seen her before and she was so hungry and tiny. She loves attention even while she feels like crap. She has the cutest meow and the littlest distinctive face. She’s very curious and has her whole life ahead of her. She was diagnosed with pyrometra. Which is an inflammation and infection of the uterus. We had to take her in for an emergency surgery to remove the infection and uterus. She is now very anemic due to a large flea load and the surgery. We need to do more blood tests and maybe even a transfusion. She found us out of the blue because I think she knew we would help her. We have stayed up with her and comforted her throughout the nights. Thursday night was very touch and go and Friday the vet kept her all day. We don’t have a lot of money so the vet did everything they could that didn’t cost that much which ima forever thankful for. I would love diagnostic testing done and more fluids for her next week. We are a low income family who has the biggest heart for animals. We already had 4 cats as well as 4 stray cats we feed in our neighborhood. We have no savings for this type of thing. We are living paycheck to paycheck just trying to make it.

Lilo is a 4-year-old micro bully who is the biggest cuddle bug you’ll ever meet. Her favorite place in the world is curled up right next to me on the couch, resting her head on my lap, or following me from room to room just to make sure I’m never alone. She has a sweet, gentle soul, gentle brown eyes, and a way of knowing whenever I need a little extra love. Lilo is facing a serious, rapidly worsening medical issue involving her mammary glands. It started with a noticeable swelling that began producing a discolored discharge. The swelling around her mammary gland is actively growing in size and feels firm. Lilo urgently needs to be seen by a veterinarian for testing which will likely include antibiotics, and surgery to remove and drain the mass. Lilo isn't just a dog to me...she is my family, my comfort, and my constant companion through my every high and low in life. She has an intuitive way of knowing when I need love, and her presence brings light and peace into my home every single day. The bond we share is irreplaceable, and I am doing everything in my willpower to protect her and give her the chance she deserve. I love her so much. I don't know where to start. Just writting this is hard for me...Life has thrown an unexpected financial crisis my way at the exact moment Lilo needs me most. I am in a position where I have absolute zero funds to pay for Lilo's sudden emergency veterinary care. Samson picked us. We was leaving a friend's house and heard crying but didn't see anything. All of a sudden we seen this little guy running from a small box in the neighbors yard. He ran right up to us my husband said looks like he wants to go with you I said we don't need a dog but he was very persistent and still is today we loaded him up not knowing he would be such a huge part of our lives. Sam has a very large ruptured tumor on his chest we have had it removed two other times but that vet failed to get all of it so it has returned. This vet was the only affordable Care that we found at that time. We took him to Stine vet hospital hoping for a different outcome this time. The vet there seems very optimistic that he can remove the whole tumor and it not come back this time. Samson is special because he loves with his whole heart he loves me and his dad more than any thing in this world he makes us smile when we didn't think there was anything to smile about we come to find Samson is what we have to smile about. We would give any and all for Sam to be able to run and play like he wants he is a very special doggy to us and we love him more than words can express. My husband hasn't been able to work since he was hit by a car while riding his bike almost 2 years ago it's been very hard on us but we haven't given up and neither has Sam. We want Sam with us for as long as God allows him to be and I know that's what Sam wants to

My daughter and I adopted Rosie together from a Humane Society when she was 9 weeks old. Orginally being trained as my Psychiatric Service Dog, she is sweet, affectionate, energetic, and clever like a velociraptor. It has been roughly 8 months since Rosie had injured her knee. She has been in pain that whole time, unable to receive the surgery she needs. There have been changes in her temperament as a result, including a rise in reactivity level and worsening of her OCD symptoms. She was last seen at Union Avenue Veterinary Hospital. In spite of life's recent trials, Rosie remains the sweet, affectionate dog she was when we first brought her home. She's just been buried beneath pain and heightened anxiety, unable to engage in the sort of exercise, play, or training a dog like her should. She deserves the best chance of living her life to its fullest. I am a disabled, displaced homemaker and mother in the middle of a traumatic divorce. Apart from SNAP/TANF and the pennies I make from DoorDashing by e-bike (I don't own a car), I have yet to gain a stable source of income of my own.

Frankie's original owner moved out of state, I got him young at 9 weeks, he just turned 10 on July 10th. He's a huge part of our life, very young and energetic still! Frankie not only has glaucoma but he has a injury to his eye that caused a big ulcer that pushes his eye out it looks like a grape instead of a eye. There's concern that his eye will rupture on top of everything else he's going through. He needs to have his eye completely removed. He's being seen at MOUNTAIN WEST VETERINARY SPECIALIST, in layton Utah. Frankie is a huge part of our family, Frankie is with me at all times now because I recently lost my job, when he wasn't with me while I was at work my youngest daughter was with him, Frankie sleeps with me and has since I brought him home, our bond is very strong. He cries if I have to leave him and his excitement to see me when I'm home is unreasonable, Frankie follows me everywhere. If he is in front of me walking he frequently turns around to make sure mommas still with him. He's my fur baby for sure. And if I wasn't his momma then why does he have my last name at the vet? 😀 I have lost my job, I am single so I have no help both of my checking accounts are negative, I spent my last 200. 00 to get him seen originally and I am desperately looking for work.

Help Yara get Splenectomy/Histopathology — Westgate, IA

Yara has been our fierce, protective girl. We got her as a puppy in North Carolina, and she quickly became so much more than a dog, she became part of our family and one of our greatest protectors. She’s strong willed, incredibly loyal, and has spent her entire life watching over us. She's been a constant presence through years of change. We love her. Yara’s ultrasound revealed a large tumor on her spleen with a high risk of rupture and life threatening internal bleeding. Monday, she will have another ultrasound, bloodwork, and X-rays before surgery to remove her spleen and tumor. The tumor will then be tested. If benign, she can live a normal life. If cancerous, her prognosis is poor. She is facing 50/50. She has always been our fierce and loving girl and protector, and now it’s our turn to protect her. We aren’t ready for our time with Yara to be over, and we want to give her every chance at more happy, healthy years with us. We never imagined we would be asking for help, but Yara’s care has quickly become more than we can manage on our own. Between repeat ultrasounds, bloodwork, X rays, surgery, pathology, and recovery, the costs are adding up very quickly. We want to give Yara every possible chance without finances being the reason we can't fight for her. Any donation, share, or kind word means more to our family than we can express.
