Dot and Her Five Puppies Need Your Help

Walker, LA • Rescue Rehome Repeat

Dot's story didn't end when the surgery was over... Just days ago, Dot and her five puppies were given a second chance. When Dot came into Rescue Rehome Repeat of South Louisiana, she was pregnant and nearing delivery. Despite every indication that labor should have begun, her puppies simply weren't coming. As her condition became more urgent, there was only one option left to save her life and the lives of her unborn puppies: an emergency C-section. Thanks to the quick actions of her veterinary team, Dot delivered five healthy puppies. But the story didn't end there. Dot is now recovering from major surgery while her foster family provides around-the-clock care for both mom and her newborn puppies. As expected after an emergency C-section, Dot is still adjusting and is not yet accepting her babies, making these first weeks especially critical as her foster family ensures everyone remains safe, fed, and cared for. Rescue Rehome Repeat of South Louisiana never hesitated when Dot needed lifesaving care. They said "yes" to saving this little family, knowing the emergency surgery and ongoing care would come with significant veterinary expenses. Now they're asking for your help. Your donation will help cover Dot's emergency surgery, hospitalization, medications, follow-up veterinary care, and the continued care and supplies needed to give both mom and her five puppies the healthiest possible start. Just as importantly, your support helps ensure the rescue can continue saying "yes" when the next animal arrives needing urgent medical care. Because of compassionate supporters like you, Dot and her puppies have a future. Thank you for helping Rescue Rehome Repeat of South Louisiana give this little family—and so many others—the second chances they deserve. 7/23/26 Update: Dot and Her Puppies Are Making Progress Dot and her little family continue to make encouraging progress! After a brief setback caused by a reaction to one of her medications, Dot is now recovering well. Her foster family spent several sleepless nights caring for both mom and babies while Dot regained her strength, and thankfully she is doing much better. Best of all, Dot is now accepting and caring for her puppies, which is a great sign after the difficult start they experienced together. The puppies have also reached an exciting milestone—their eyes have officially opened, and they're beginning to experience the world around them for the very first time. As they continue to grow, Rescue Rehome Repeat of South Louisiana is keeping a close watch on two of the puppies, who are completely white. At this young age, it's too soon to know for certain, but there is a possibility they could be blind, deaf, or both. Their development will continue to be carefully monitored over the coming weeks. Dot's emergency C-section gave her and her five puppies the chance to survive. Now, as Dot continues recovering from surgery and caring for her babies, the family still needs ongoing veterinary care, medications, nutritious food, and daily support as the puppies continue to grow. If you're able, please consider making a donation to help cover the cost of Dot's lifesaving surgery and her family's continued care. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps Rescue Rehome Repeat of South Louisiana give this little family the healthy future they deserve.

Mango

Mango is a 6 year old Mix-Breed in Tiverton, RI, who needs $2,500 for Dental Procedures.

Tiverton, RI

Our sweet girl is 6 years old and has been with our family for the past 5 years. She is more than a pet, she’s family. My two daughters adore her, and she’s their constant source of comfort, love, and laughter. She lives indoors with us and our other cat in a safe, loving home. We are committed to giving her the care she needs and deserves. When we noticed one of our 6-year-old cat’s teeth had fallen out, we brought her to Fall River Animal Hospital right away. The veterinary team diagnosed her with severe periodontal disease, causing pain and requiring urgent treatment. We want to get her the care she needs so she can be healthy, comfortable, and back to being the happy cat our family loves. Our sweet girl has the classic orange cat energy, she’s wonderfully goofy, full of personality, and always keeping us laughing with her silly antics. She’s incredibly lovable and never misses a meal; food is definitely her favorite thing! She loves spending time with our family, especially my two daughters, and fills our home with comfort, laughter, and unconditional love every single day. This unexpected medical expense has been a major burden for me. As a full-time student, I wasn’t prepared for the cost of her treatment and don’t have the savings to cover it. She is such an important part of our family, and I want to make sure she gets the care she needs.

Petaluma, CA • Roxy's Ranch Haven

Every rescue dog deserves the chance to find a loving home, but before they can begin that journey, many need essential veterinary care. Dogs like Teddy, a 1-year-old Pit Bull Terrier and German Shepherd mix, are given a second chance through Roxy’s Ranch Haven. After arriving from a shelter, Teddy was understandably overwhelmed and learning to trust again. Thanks to the dedication of his rescuers, he received the care he needed, including his neuter surgery, helping prepare him for a future forever home. Teddy is just one of many dogs who rely on Roxy’s Ranch Haven for the veterinary care needed before adoption. Right now, Roxy’s Ranch Haven is caring for more than seven dogs in need of spay and neuter surgeries. They also have puppies who will need these procedures once they are old enough, as well as additional dogs preparing to enter the rescue who will require this essential care before they can be adopted. Spay and neuter surgeries are a critical part of responsible rescue work. These procedures help ensure dogs are healthy, ready for adoption, and prepared to begin their next chapter with their forever families. Help Carolina Animal Rescue and Adoption Say "Yes" to More Animals in Need

Sanford, NC • Carolina Animal Rescue and Adoption

Every day, Carolina Animal Rescue and Adoption faces impossible decisions. An elderly dog whose owner passed away, now beginning treatment for heartworm disease. Tiny kittens abandoned in a tote bag with no one to care for them. A cat suffering from a life-threatening urinary blockage. Animals who have been abandoned, neglected, or left with nowhere else to turn. The rescue never wants finances to be the reason an animal doesn't receive the medical care they desperately need. Saying "yes" to vulnerable animals in need often comes with significant veterinary expenses. This fundraiser will help Carolina Animal Rescue and Adoption pay down outstanding veterinary expenses from animals they have already saved, allowing those funds to be redirected toward the next emergency waiting around the corner. Every donation, no matter the size, helps ensure that when another animal arrives needing urgent medical care, the rescue can focus on saving a life instead of worrying about whether they can afford treatment. No animal should lose their life simply because of the cost of veterinary care. By supporting Carolina Animal Rescue and Adoption, you're helping remove financial barriers so more dogs and cats can receive the treatment, compassion, and second chances they deserve. Thank you for helping Carolina Animal Rescue and Adoption continue saying "yes" when vulnerable animals need them most.

Thrown Away at 12, Tofu Still Deserves a Second Chance

Sanford, NC • Carolina Animal Rescue and Adoption

At 12 years old, Tofu should have been spending her golden years surrounded by love and comfort. Instead, she was cruelly thrown from a moving car and left behind. Thankfully, a compassionate witness saw what happened and brought her to the safety of Carolina Animal Rescue and Adoption, where she is finally receiving the care she deserves. As Tofu began settling into rescue, she developed a persistent cough and was taken to the veterinarian for evaluation. During her examination, the veterinary team discovered that she may be suffering from congestive heart failure, a serious condition that requires ongoing monitoring and treatment. Tofu has already started heart medication in hopes of improving her condition and helping her breathe more comfortably. While her rescue team remains hopeful that the medication will help, she will continue to need veterinary care as they monitor her response to treatment and determine the best plan for her future. This fundraiser will help cover Tofu's veterinary examinations, diagnostics, medications, and ongoing medical care as Carolina Animal Rescue and Adoption works to give this sweet senior girl the comfort and quality of life she deserves. After everything Tofu has been through, she deserves kindness instead of cruelty, comfort instead of fear, and a future where she is surrounded by love. Thank you for helping Carolina Animal Rescue and Adoption give Tofu the second chance she deserves. 7/31/26 Update: Tofu- Thrown from a car at 12 years old At 12 years old, Tofu should have been spending her golden years surrounded by love and comfort. Dak

Dak is a 9 year old Shih Tzu in Paterson, NJ, who needs $5,000 for Perineal Hernia Surgery.

Paterson, NJ

Dak, my 10-year-old Shih Tzu, is the heart of our family. He’s loving, playful, and always by our side, bringing comfort and happiness into our lives every single day. His excitement when he sees us and the love he gives is unmatched. Dak is not just a pet—he is our best friend, our companion, and a true member of our family who means everything to us. Dak is suffering from a perineal hernia that is causing him severe discomfort and making it very difficult for him to use the bathroom. He strains and is clearly in pain, which is heartbreaking to watch. Without urgent surgery, his condition can worsen and become life-threatening. The cost is $5,000–$6,000, and he is being treated at Eclipse Animal Hospital by Dr. Jennifer Bonczynski. Dak is so much more than a pet; he is a beloved member of our family. For 10 years, he has filled our home with love, happiness, and companionship. His playful spirit, loyalty, and unconditional love have brought us comfort through good times and difficult moments. Dak has a special place in our hearts, and we want to do everything we can to give him the happy, healthy life he deserves. The cost of Dak’s surgery is more than I can manage right now. I have been on disability since October after knee surgery and am just beginning to return to work. Taking on a $5,000–$6,000 medical expense would create a serious financial strain. We love Dak and want to give
