Rocky

Rocky is a 12 year old Persian in Sand Springs, OK, who needs $150 for Exam & Treatment for Severe Allergy Breakout.

Sand Springs, OK

I rescued my Rocky & Gizmo at 2 weeks old. They're over 12 yrs old now. My brother that I live with has 2 senior dogs & 2 senior cats, all rescues. My 2 are indoor kitties. His 4 go out occasionally so we've kept flea meds on them. Recently fleas became resistant to the flea meds so we had to change those. My boys developed a rash. I desperately need to take them back in to Dr. Rankin DVM asap! Rocky & Gizmo had a reaction to Frontline Plus that I changed them to when I took them in to Dr. Rankin. My precious boys are broke out in an itchy rash & very uncomfortable. I'm giving them an allergy med & Veterinary Formula spray approved by their vet but need to take them back into their vet to determine what's most effective. Nd Cheristo flea meds My Rocky & Gizmo are my soul kitties. They & I are seniors. I refer as "My Three Sons", My 1 human son & 2 Furbaby sons m We have an inseparable bond & so much love for each other! Rocky can say Ma Ma very clearly! They don't like me out of their sight, & I'm the same way about my babies! I'm 67 on SSI. Need Cheristin flea meds & Boni hypoallergenic surface cleaner due their skin allergies. I'm on a fixed income & my brother I live with is understanding chemo & radiation for colorectal cancer & unable to run the business he's owned for 28 yrs. I'm trying to take care of him then best I can, his 4 senior furbabies & I'm worried sick about my Rocky & Gizmo. 🙏

Calvin

Calvin is a 6 year old Mix-Breed in Scarborough, ME, who needs $2,000 for Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia.

Scarborough, ME

We adopted Calvin in 2020 through a rescue in NH. He joined his big sister, Cleo, Dana, and I in our home in Scarborough. He has been the most perfect addition to our family ever since. Medically, Calvy has not had an easy ride. When we first adopted him, he struggled with tummy and skin issues, however, once figured out, he was a healthy, happy 50 pound boy with an amazing and shiny coat. In 2022, Calvin was brought to MVMC and was ultimately diagnosed with PLE. With a special diet, meds, and check ups, Calvin was back to his energetic self in no time. This past June, Calvin returned to MVMC because of concerning symptoms, where he was diagnosed with IMHA. After 3 weeks of recovering, he was readmitted twice within a week, due to other complications with IMHA and the strong meds. Calvy is the most special boy. He brightens every room, and everyone's day. He is goofy, energetic, curious, clever, and so loving. He lets his sisters boss him around, but he loves them. He loves running on trails, sticking his head out the window, sleeping under the covers during bedtime, eating snacks, laying on his (many) dog beds in any room we are in, and just being anywhere with his family. We work really hard: Dana's overtime days, and my working 3 part time gigs, even after teaching. With PLE, there were many medical expenses. And now, with IMHA, there are good days and hard days, and consistent medical expenses for our Calvy boy to be all the way healthy.

Magnus

Magnus is a 3 year old Golden Retriever in El Dorado, KS, who needs $2,500 for Chemotherapy.

El Dorado, KS

Magnus is a 3½-year-old Golden Retriever who has been with me since he was an 8-week-old puppy. He lives at home with me and three other dogs, and he has always been the gentle, easygoing heart of our family. He's incredibly patient, loves everyone he meets, and has helped welcome every new dog into our home. His name, Magnus, means "great," and it suited his calm, loving personality. Magnus was recently diagnosed with lymphoma and is currently receiving treatment through Kutter Pet Care Center under the guidance of a veterinary oncologist. He has started chemotherapy, and is not having a great response to the current protocol. This is not a one-time emergency but an ongoing medical condition. Every extra day that treatment gives him is precious. Magnus is the kind of dog who makes everyone smile. He LOVES tennis balls, leaning against people for hugs, and spending time with his canine siblings. He's incredibly gentle, affectionate, and always seems to know when someone needs comfort. Whether we're relaxing at home or outside playing fetch, he's happiest just being close to the people he loves. Magnus's cancer diagnosis came at the worst possible time. His dad recently lost his job, and we're preparing to move while facing overwhelming veterinary bills. Every donation helps us continue his chemotherapy and gives him a chance to keep fighting.

Meatball

Meatball is a 17 year old Ragdoll in North Fort Myers, FL, who needs $1,500 for Overnight IV Fluid and Emergency Exam.

NORTH FORT MYERS, FL

Meatball came into my life years ago as a kitten my daughter found in craigslist. and we have been together ever since. He is my absolute world. He is the only pet in our home, and we live in Florida. I named him Meatball because he was just a sweet, solid little ball of love from day one, and the name fit his affectionate personality perfectly. We share a very deep, irreplaceable bond. Meatball is facing a severe medical emergency and needs urgent care at Viscaya Prado Animal Hospital in Cape Coral. He has been dealing with chronic kidney issues, but today he is critically weak and repeatedly straining in his litter box. This is an immediate, life-saving crisis requiring urgent veterinary intervention and stabilizing treatment. Meatball is incredibly special to me because he is my constant companion and source of comfort. He is a sweet, calm boy who loves to follow me around, relax on our patio, and cuddle right next to me in bed. He has a beautiful bond with me and brings so much light to my life. His gentle presence is a true source of emotional support to me every single day. I am on a fixed disability income due to a brain injury, and recent loss of work leaves me unable to pay basic bills. After paying the vet upfront, I am risking losing my home and missing work. Having Meatball healthy again means saving my sole companion and lifesaver.
