Max came into our lives in the most unexpected way. We found him at a kennel where he had been living for months after his previous owners dropped him off to be boarded and never came back. Despite everything, he was still sweet, active, and full of love. His long legs and gentle eyes reminded us of a little deer, and that made us think of the dog from The Grinch—so Max became his name. Max had a lump removed from his hind leg, which was diagnosed as soft tissue sarcoma. We met with a veterinary oncologist who recommended Electrochemotherapy. According to the specialist, ECT gives Max an excellent chance of preventing the cancer from returning. His X‑rays showed no signs of spread, which means this treatment could give him many more healthy, happy years. From the moment we brought him home, Max has been loved by everyone who meets him, and he loves everyone right back. He’s scared of loud noises and will run inside at the slightest shift of the wind. He howls along with fire truck sirens. He chases birds and squirrels with pure joy—he even caught a squirrel once and immediately let it go. The surgery to remove the lump, follow‑up visits, X‑rays, bloodwork, and specialist consultations have already drained the savings we set aside for emergencies. On top of that, we’ve faced multiple unexpected home and car crises.

Captain Jack came to me when I was just 21 years old and he was just a puppy himself! Both babies looking after each other and teaching each other how to grow and love. 12 years later and we have discovered a small tumor that is progressively growing fast! High pressures in one eye and a small mass growing quickly on the other. This has been a sudden and unexpected change for my baby! Our Definite solution will come Monday at oklahoma vet specialist and I want to make sure im prepared to act quickly! Jacks special trait is his love for nature! He has taught me how to find happiness in the outdoors and how to trust the process of everything.Our 12 years has been spent mostly on small hikes in the northern virginia area where we explored the wonders of nature together and learned to heal together.He is my true savior. Lilybell needs x rays to determine what is wrong with her left front leg &Medication &Care Recommended by Veterinarian at Hope Animal Hospital.Dr.George has come up with a care cost that even with Care Credit I cannot afford the monthly payments. Lilybell is my Registered Therapy Dog who has been my loyal Companion for 1 years,She loves Children so much when we go to park they run to pet her&She just loves the attention from them.She has supported me through the loss of My Mother, Husband&Friends.Lilybell loves to walk and ride which she can no longer do because she is on complete bet rest and she doesn't understand when I leave why. Raven came into our life at 6 months old in Sept 23. A co-worker from my husband's job had a litter. The last two left, the family decided the female pup needed to go. She was named after one of Santa's reindeer. However, when I saw her, She had the most beautiful coat of black that reminded me of a beautiful raven that would often frequent our home. I named her Raven. The following year in May 24, we found out Raven was born with hip dysplasia. What to do. Well $13,000 later Raven had her surgery at Arizona Canine Orthopedic & Sports Medicine. Raven has since recovered and runs as a healthy three year old dog can! It brings tears to my eyes watching her gallop. Raven is my heart. She is happy and is my side-kick. How could I not have had her surgery. She is my family and since retiring we are glued to our hips! Now we are facing other challenges since I retired. Her visits to Laveen Vet Center have been costly. I went straight to Texas A&M for a diagnosis of EPI. I just couldn't afford another bill that was $945. Now She needs enzymes for her survival! Exocrine pancreatic insufficiency. She needs enzymes to eat. These enzymes are very expensive. She needs 4 teaspoons a day. I can't afford to go back to Laveen Veterinary Center to get her a prescription, so I have ordered through Enzyme Diane. I appreciate any help. Ty.

Squirt is soul pet. I save his life when he was a 6 mos. 30 lb puppy. Squirt is a Shepherd/Husky mix with maybe some St.Bernard. I found him at a yard sale, he was covered in fleas and ticks and was not been dewormed. Two wks later Squirt saved my life from an intruder at a fireworks tent. 30lbs puppy gave the performance of the 70lbs dog he is today!!!!!!! Squirt needs to have a cancerous lump removed from his shoulder. Dr. Hill at Animal Hospital is doing the urgent surgery on March 5th, 2026. Squirt has a human girlfriend who is 9 yrs. She is the nextdoor neighbor, they have grown up together. Squirt has the Husky howl while hearing sirens. Spends his day watching the squirrels in he trees. Loves going on very long walks smelling all those who has gone before him. His longest walk was 20 miles long. I'm on disability, I was working for door dash until my car died last March 2025. Looking for work on the bus routes but no luck so far. Most businesses don't want to hire people on disability because of the constraint of Social Security.

My partner and I rescued our Frenchie after finding her alone in the cold with no food, no water, and no one to care for her. She has been with us for just 2 weeks now and we love her so much. She’s now safe indoors, part of our family, but faces urgent surgery we can’t afford. Please help us share her story and give her the second chance at life, love, and health that she deserves. Our sweet French Bulldog, Hazel, was seen at Orchid Springs Animal Hospital for a check-up, where we learned she has ear infections in both ears and a fecal test revealed hookworms, which have caused her to suffer repeated rectal prolapses and bleeding out of her rectum. The vet says she needs a colopexy surgery to fix this. Hazel is in pain, and watching her struggle breaks our hearts. Hazel is a truly special member of our family. Since we rescued her, she has been super sweet, playful, and full of life, bringing joy to every day. She loves cuddles, playtime, and making us laugh with her silly personality. She has a loving, gentle spirit that makes her so special to us. We are facing a financial need because Hazel requires a colopexy surgery to fix her repeated rectal prolapses. Skye is a 18 month old Great Dane in San Marcos, TX, who needs $12,000 for Full Hip Replacement.

Hi, meet Skye. That is all that was known about her when she was seized by the police department. She was seized because her owners refused to bring her inside during sub-zero weather. She also suffered a broken hip during her previous ownership. As far as we know, her hip was never treated. We got her from a local rescue group and she came to her new home with us about a month ago. When her leg was broken, the femur was completely broken. The femoral head is no longer in the hip socket. You can hear an actual popping sound with each step because there is bone rubbing on bone. She is in obvious pain and cries a lot. My vet at Wimberley Vet believes she is about 18 months old, so she is still a young lady. Skye would truly benefit from surgery to repair the damage. Skye is your typical Great Dane. They are called the "Velcro Breed" for a reason. She always wants to be as close as possible for lots of love and snuggles! She has not met a stranger since we have know her; she is a friend to all. She is a big goofball really! Her favorite sleeping position is on her back with all fours legs in the air ~ quite a site to see, Overall, she is HUGE lovebug! While we want to see the best for Skye, the treatment for a broken hip is very expensive. If she were to have it done, it would definitely add quality years to her life. She is too young to go through life in pain.

Mavis is my 7-year-old pug. I’ve had her since she was a puppy, and she’s been my constant companion through every season of life. She lives indoors with me as a beloved family member with my two other dogs and cats. During a recent exam for dental work, our veterinarian at Plattsburgh Animal Hospital discovered a large tumor on Mavis’s jaw that was suspected to be cancerous. We are pursuing surgery with a specialist in Vermont at Burlington Emergency & Veterinary Specialists. The estimate is $8,909. The surgery could be curative or at least extend her quality of life. Mavis has two German Shepherd siblings. She's never really been around small dogs so she has a big dog personality. She howls when she hears ambulances and barks when she hears a dog barking on TV. She runs in circles when she's happy, tail always wagging and can ever quite sit still because she's just so happy to exist and be part of the world. I wish I had a life where if I'm told my dog could be saved with surgery, that I didn't have to hesitate and ask how much it would cost. I just want to do everything I can for her. It would mean so much to me to see her healthy again.

Hope came to me as a foster on Feb 21, 2026. She lives with my three small rescue dogs: Dolcé (almost 17 & the mama bear), Piglet (9-ish & a cuddle bug surrendered to on the street), and Elsa ( 6-ish curious, food-motivated w/ a hound-like sniffer & so smart- rescued from hoarding in CA). I didn’t choose her name, but “Hope” fits — she needs all the hope she can get, and I have faith in her! On 12/31/25, Hope was diagnosed with severe Pseudomonas aeruginosa, deep pyoderma, severe otitis externa, and ulcerative dermatitis. Follow-up was missed. Rescue refused urgent care despite my repeated requests. She now has an appointment tomorrow; treatment may require extended antibiotics, cultures, ongoing care and potentially surgery since this has been left untreated for so long. Hope is not potty trained and her wrinkled little body needs daily cleaning. She protects her head from pain but now walks outside with me, follows me everywhere, rests her head on me, loves scratches, heaters, and soft beds. She wags her tail slowly, now faster each day, and rears her front legs when excited. She’s gentle, loving, strong and brave. I did not plan for these urgent medical expenses. Initial diagnostics are $800, with total costs likely much higher. Every donation goes to her care. Having Hope healthy means relief from pain and a chance to just be a happy girl. I am deeply grateful for any help, 🙏 share.
