Hello, this is Abel. He’s my baby and honestly the reason I wake up every day. I rescued him from a kill list at a shelter in New Mexico three years ago, and I loved him from the very moment I saw him. Abel is a small terrier mix, intact, and he lives with me in my apartment. He’s very attached to me and thrives on routine, like his twice-daily walks. Abel, my small terrier mix, is straining to urinate and only producing drops. He is alert and acting normally otherwise, but I’m extremely worried he may have a blockage or urinary crystal. This is an emergency, and I cannot afford extensive testing. I’m desperate for urgent care and guidance at Pueblo Animal Urgent Care to keep him safe. Abel is my heart and the light of my life. He’s smart, stubborn, and endlessly affectionate, always huffing or giving side-eye when he wants his way. He loves walks, sniffing every corner, slow-feeder toys, treats, and cuddling close. His curious little quirks, playful energy, and unwavering loyalty fill my days with joy and make him impossible not to adore. I can’t afford the tests or treatment Abel urgently needs. I have spent my life in survival mode, growing up homeless and unstable. Abel is my heart and the reason I wake each day. Seeing him struggle breaks me. Having him healthy again would give me hope and peace.

Buck

Buck is a 9 year old Labrador Retriever in Georgetown, TX, who needs $4,935 for Surgery to Repair Torn Ligament in Left Hind Leg.

Buck's story began in January 2017. a birthday lovingly chosen based on the animal shelter's age estimate. This sweet Lab mix was fostered from the Waco Animal Shelter on Father's Day and quickly became the younger brother to Beaux, another adopted pup, and is a beloved member of our family, which has grown by one more adopted pup, Benny, and an infant little brother. Tuesday morning, Buck began limping. A quick visit to his vet showed he had a torn ligament in his left hind leg, requiring advanced surgery, radiographs, sedation monitoring, and medical check-ups post-surgery. Dr. Amy Mathiak at Patriot Animal Hospital will perform the surgery. She says Buck is in great health, and with surgery, we can get him back up and chasing squirrels in the backyard again. Despite all he's been through, Buck is in great health and full of spirit. His resiliency has gotten him through one ACL surgery, and 2 tumor removal surgeries (benign & cancerous caught early this Nov). On sunny days, he plays in the backyard with his brothers, and on rainy, thunderous days, he prefers cozing up in the closet. Buck can often be found watching over his infant baby brother. Buck has had many surgical procedures, with the most recent this past November for a benign tumor. With the birth of a new baby and moving to a one-income family, with the endless love he gives us, we are looking for support to help him heal and run happily again.

Born in March of 2016 at a local city animal shelter in Southern Los Angeles, California, Kymber was adopted by my sister, Avary, and me in May of 2016. This adorably loving girl is friendly, full of energy, and has a sassy streak that makes me believe she may have been an actual princess in a past life. This spunky little lady enjoys days at the beach, watching The Real Housewives, and cuddling. On February 17th, 2025, Kymber, my fragile, loving, adorable 10-year-old terrier-chihuahua mix, was aggressively picked up by a "friend," resulting in a severe injury that left her back legs paralyzed. Kymber has diagnosed by a neurologist with Intervertebral Disc Disease (a spinal cord disorder that causes paralysis) by Miami's Southeast Veterinary Neurology. This adorably loving girl is friendly, full of energy, and has a sassy streak that makes me believe she may have been an actual princess in a past life. This spunky little lady enjoys days at the beach, lounging around watching The Real Housewives, playing with her best friend/brother Zayn, cuddling on the couch, eating tomatoes, and slow walks where she takes the time to smell (every) flower. Without immediate surgery, Kymber has about a 50% chance at possibly regaining mobility. With surgery, there is a 90-95% chance Kymber will walk again. The cost of the surgery is $14,000, of which I have less than half. it your help, my beautiful fur baby will walk again.

Whiskey is a 2 year old Chihuahua in Oxnard , CA, who needs $10,000 for Corneal Laceration Repair and Lens Removal.

Whiskey came into our lives later in the year of July 2023 but was born on May 23rd earlier that year. He was born into a litter of 7 (4 boys and 3 girls). We instantly feel in love with him. Whiskey had been diagnosed with penetrating corneal trauma with concern for global rupture in his right eye. This injury occurred after having an Encounter with a opossum. He sustained a large scratch in the middle from top to bottom of the cornea which had also formed a large blood clot in the back of the eye. He was recommended to see an ophthalmologist at Veterinary Eye Clinic Calabasas. He is very loving and happy dog, anyone who comes by he will greet you with a lot of tail wags and playfulness. He is very food motivated and loves drive thru unsalted patties. It has been financial hardship due to my recent disability situation. It would mean the world to us if we are able to get him into surgery to prevent vision loss and him live a normal happy life.

I rescued Mia and her brother and sister 8 years ago she was 5 years old this past weekend while we were doing yard work and she was pulling up a stump it caved in and he she fell in and she hurt her leg I rushed her to emergency vet and spent everything I had that night on her check up and was told she had broke her leg by her hip and needed it amputated and i unfortunately can’t afford it Everyone at Banfield loves her and gave me some resources for her but she didn’t qualify for loans or grants she’s been healthy happy until now she can barely walk Mia is the gentlest sweetest girl in the world she helped me so much in the last 8 years no words can describe and I wish I could do more for her I feel like I have failed her I’m on limited income waiting for my insurance to approve knee replacement I have limited resources and I wish I had the funds to see her happy running around again she deserves it

Butters is the sweetest labradoodle mix. She is a rescue and it’s supposed to be become my service dog. My current service dog who has helped me so much recently had to retire. I have been unable to work since I do not have a service dog at the current time. I was offered this wonderful golden doodle who attached to me right away and has already started learning. My current service dog. Butters was unfortunately born with a defect in her genital region. She will need surgery to correct this. The person that owned her before Me reached out to several rescues that will not take her due to this defect. I need desperate help to try to help butters get better so that she can have a normal life. She’s an absolute sweetheart and deserves a chance. Butters is very special because she is a training service animal. She will not only provide me the services I need, but I work in a school with high risk children, and they also would benefit from the skills she would learn. She would impact many lives on a daily basis. She will begin training to help with daily tasks and assist in calming. I have been on disability for many years due to almost losing my life. I started working again when I had my current service dog Hammond, but unfortunately, he had to retire. Due to my illness progressing I need a service dog to be able to work.

Rosie was the runt of her litter. But she doesn’t know that! Nobody wanted her from this private breeder we came across some time ago. My husband got a call and a picture of Rosie and he fell in love. We went to get her and ended up getting her biological sister too. They’ve never been apart. My husband 6’ 2” 250 of muscle, and Rosie quickly became “his dog” and she knew it. Shes another daughter Up until 2 days ago, Rosie has been our miniature Rottweiler, She protected her sister (something I’ve never seen before) Rosie has zero energy, shallow breathing and according to the Drs here at Beacon Er, The only way to save her an emergency hysterectomy and a drain tube and follow-ups. We were told BY A VET if she wasn’t going to be an outside dog neutered wasn’t needed. We have 24-48hrs Rosie is not a pet. She is a member of the family. She has never been separated from her biological sister or her other sisters in the house. She truly is unlike any other pet I’ve ever had and her personality is so unique watching her control. My husband like a daughter does is something special everybody loves their pets, but please help us save Rosie To have her healthy again, would have our family complete again. We feel absolutely horrible thinking that this could’ve been prevented by having her neutered but listening to a vet. We did not think that we would be the cause of any harm to the sweet girl please I’m begging

I rescued my dog 5 years ago he was sick with kennel cough, been abused, had a heart murmur and was having back to back seizures…. I took him in and he did a complete 360 until recently he suffered tracheal collapse and needs emergency surgery I just can’t afford. I will travel anywhere in the United States for cheaper vets or assistance, I just can’t let him die or suffer He’s being treated at coastal veterinary clinic in Myrtle beach and referred for surgery in north Charleston at Charleston referral hospital. I welcome any assistance, direct vet pay or through here or even just suggestions on somewhere less than the 8,000 cost I rescued him and then he rescued me. No one could possibly understand how many nights this angel saved my life. I have to do the same for him. I will take any assistance or advice on other providers I work almost 70 hour weeks so I could start completely over. Although my bills are up to date and I have no debts other than my home my credit is simply exhausted from Leaving my abusive marriage.

Leo currently lives with his student mom and great great grandmother. Both love Leo very much and always give him the treats and food he needs along with toys and play time every single day. Leo had taken a fall recently and permanently dislocated his back leg. Southshore animal hospital said he would need surgery to get his leg fixed as he currently is dragging his leg around trying to be brave. Leo loves people! Will absolutely cuddle anyone for a treat. But loves his food just a little bit more than others. Will dance and spin for treats and cuddle during tv time. And would run for the zoomies in the backyard after getting his snacks. Me and my great grandmother who is in her 70s trying to make and provide for Leo. I currently attend school and work and she works as well. We just want our sweet smiling boy happy and able to run again.
