Oatmeal was born on the porch before we started trapping cats. We had given away 11 but nobody would take her. We didnt want to send her to a shelter that could end her life, so we kept her. We dont make a lot of money at all, this affliction is very painful and expensive. When you contact them ask about Boop and her teeth, that was the other cat with it. She has FORLS and its very painful. Feline tooth resorption. I dont mind the drool, I have another cat that had it. I'll mop up the drool, she can ruin my clothes, Its ok. We just cannot afford another 1100 dollars. Her face gets crusted in spit, her hair gets hardened into dread locks having to be shaved off. Its very hard to watch her suffer. Veterinary Medical Center of St. Lucie County She is spayed, and shes such a sweet cat. All she wants is to be held and pet like any other one. She'll jump right into your lap, rushes into and knocks the other cats out of the way to be pet even though shes the smallest one. Shes adorable and its a shame she has to live like this. Her breath is not foul, it barely smells much, so it has not advanced that much. We are disabled.. Going to work is difficult enough when medications and mental illness effect our lives. I make >15,000 a year and so does she. We're one bad day away from going bankrupt like most americans. It sucks, but we want to get this taken care of. She deserves it.

My doggy entered my life at my lowest point. After i became extremely depressed and lost my job, i got her as a gift to help lift my spirits. Ever since she has been by my side as much as possible. She’s been with me when I had to move cities, with me when I came out of hospitals, with me when no one else was. She’s my world, and she helps me focus on the good in the world. Lexi has a severe tooth infection that has been spreading. It causes her severe distress and pain. She now winces in pain when I try to pet near her mouth, which hurts my soul. She has been visiting Awesome Care Vet clinic by our house and seems to have grown attached to them. My pet is everything to me. Lexi is my soulmate. I can’t live without her right now. She is my emotional support, my rock. She is a skittish pup but warms up to others quickly. I think she thinks she’s a person honestly. She didn’t socialize with other dogs because she was by my side when I was homebound for the first few years of her life. The infection has spread more quickly than I had anticipated and now I’m scared for her life. It would mean the world to me to have her illness free, because I still need her with me. I don’t know if I’ll be able to make it without her help.

Mindy is an 8-year-old Yorkshire Terrier in Lantana, FL, who needs $1,000 for urgent tumor removal.

For many long, cruel years, a breeder used Mindy for breeding over and over again. When her days of having puppies were over, the breeder dumped her at a groomer. Mindy was covered in feces, and her fur was stuck together in clumps. The groomer had to shave off all her hair to clean her up. When "With Love for the Animals" rescue heard about Mindy, the group immediately saved her. They discovered massive tumors on her mammary glands, an unrepaired hernia exacerbated by years of nursing puppies, and she had 12 rotten teeth that needed to be removed. The rescue needs your help paying for all of Mindy's medical care while they work on helping her learn she is worthy of love. "She did not know how to go to the bathroom outside and is learning that she does not have to lay in her waste. It is heartbreaking to think about," Jennie P., with the rescue, tells Waggle. The group says despite all Mindy has been through, she is the sweetest girl. She had never been on grass; now, being outside and rolling around is her favorite. She has a lot of love to give and joy to experience in the rest of her dog years. Luckily this beautiful girl is now healing, starting to feel good again, and will soon be looking for a special family. "Please consider donating towards her outstanding medical bills," Jennie says. Merle

Merle is a 9 year old Redbone Coonhound in Osawatomie, KS, who needs $2,500 for Vinblastine.

Merle wandered into our life from a puppy mill at an estimated 4 weeks old. He is our gentle giant that loves snacks, food, sneaking food off someone’s plate, sneaking food out of the refrigerator and sneaking into the trash to of course, get food. He also enjoys long walks and playtime and cuddles on the couch! Although he takes up most of the room on the sofa he takes up more room in our hearts. Early October last year Merle was diagnosed with a grade two Mast Cell Tumor. He has undergone two operations and many Chemotherapy appointments. The doctors believe he can be treated still and enjoy his home with his family for the rest of his days. The Overland Park Emergency Vet and Specialty Hospital has been nothing short of amazing for Merle, they are now family. Merle holds a dear place in all of our hearts and he holds us even closer. He may even love us more than he loves dinner. Merle loves playing with kids and sleeping in bed with whoever will allow. These treatments, are a sudden expense. We have dealt with loss of income and a few other financial set backs but are determined to do right by Merle. Any support would help.

A close friend of mine contacted me to tell me that he had the perfect puppy for me. It happened to be one of my dream dogs, a Giant Schnauzer and this friend new I loved dogs as I've always had them in my life. She was perfect so we took her home and named her Java! Java became suddenly ill one day as we first noticed her limping. The vet ran xrays and found a mass on her bone. We quickly found a vet to do a biopsy and after a long wait, it was discovered that she had a severe and rare fungal bone infection. She initially responded well to Itraconazole, but this drug affected her kidneys so we need advanced IV treatments to destroy the spreading fungus. Java is everyone's friend in the neighborhood and anywhere she go. Neighbors speak to Java on our walks and she is always the topic of conversation with friends and neighbors. She has her crew of furry friends which entails more doggy play dates than her owner's social life. She is so curious and loves to play chase. She has a special bond with her human brother that is unbreakable. The cost of Java's treatment is above our means. The drug Java will need is more than a mortgage payment and we just can't afford to pay out-of-pocket. Her treatment involves outpatient hospital care three times a week for 6 weeks.

Mango was adopted from a shelter almost a year ago. He is one of three cats in my home. He has been such a joy in my life ever since he entered it. All three of my cats are indoor only and are very well loved and taken care of. I truly cannot imagine a life without him in it. About a month ago Mango knocked over a glass bowl and landed on it, which resulted in a severed artery. He was rushed to the emergency vet (Madison veterinarian er) and they stated he wouldn’t have made it through the night if he hadn’t been brought in. About a week ago Mango started limping again. Our primary vet (family pet health care) stated he needs patellar luxation surgery to fix his leg. Mango is the baby of the family. He is the youngest of 3. He is a very shy guy but always sticks by my side. He doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. Ever since his accident he has been even more scared of loud noises and sudden movements. Having to imagine a life without him has been one of the hardest things i’ve had to do. Without knee or amputation surgery the vet has recommended euthanasia. I’m 21 and currently 37 weeks pregnant with my first child and will be a single mother. I would do absolutely anything for my cats. His recent surgery, which was over 1 thousand dollars, has taken a large financial toll on me. I have ran out of all resources and assistance.

I've had Missy since she was a little fluffy jelly bean, and I instantly fell in love with her. She attached herself so hard onto my mom and me, she IS our baby. We currently live in my grandparents' house, renting from them, but we can't pay rent because of the vet bills. My mom is a hairstylist, and I am still in high school. Missy was diagnosed on Wednesday with IVDD. She needs an MRI, and she needs surgery done ASAP! My mom and I are trying everything to get the funds for it all, but we're extremely behind and completely unsure if we can get this done for her. I do not want her in pain, and I don't know what to do. We are so desperate for any help right now; she is in so much pain. Missy's personality is huge; she makes everyone smile. She greets people by flipping over onto her back, and she'll request tummy rubs right away, or her little attitude when she's acting spoiled. Her energy livened up the room in a way that I feel like it cured my chronic depression. She is an amazing dog and one of the best good girls. She is so smart and empathetic. My mom and I are at an all-time financial hardship. I am attending Diego Valley HS in El Cajon, and now with Missy's condition, I cannot get a job. My mom is a hairstylist and makes minimum wage. All we want is for our baby is be happy again and get the chance to walk again.

It appeared that he was severely malnourished, unfortunately two months after I adopted him I found out it was so much worse! I rent a single family 2 story house, but I am trying to find a single level house which would help with Kash’s disabilities Kash is diagnosed with C2/3 Spinal Compression and Cataracts I cannot afford these surgeries. Spinal - his gait, balance, stability, mobility is affected daily. He does not run, use stairs or walk on tile. He loves other dogs! And my other dog has taught him so much and is so gentle with him. I bring him to work everyday and a company across the street takes him for about 3 hours in the afternoon to give me a break. I am single and live alone. I put my faith in wrong people and it cost me dearly. My savings was depleted, to pay for his medical expenses my credit cards are maxed out. A puppy shouldn’t have to struggle with normal, everyday things. My life is limited due to his limitations. Surgery would fix that
