his name is alex,he is a very loved part of our family,he is the family pet of 8 years we got him as a puppy for my daughter,but he is just a family dog,he loves to sleep with us under any of our covers,,go for rides,he just wants to be with us all the time lol,,he loves pets,,he is a lover and right now a fighter and no more than 5 lbs,,he is the cutest chihuahua you ever seen the diagnosis is the eye out of socket,,,treatment to be eye enucleation,,,,he got attacked by another dog,,he had a superficial neck would but thast healing very well,,,he was seen at vetco but tomorrow i will try to get him seen at a private vet..all i could afford was the exam and the meds for him...since he has been home he is eating drinking acting excited,,he just really needs surgery he is one of us,,,hes family,,,hes loves us unconditional the same as wel love of him,,i cnat stand to lose him early and not have his soul/essance in our home exp over money,,,he thinks hes a pitbull but also very loving im a single mom of 3,,we are struggling at the moment,,i make tips for a living and its not the fact i havent tried to get a better job ive put in so many applications,,im hardly able to take a day off just to keep our heads above water,,but it dont feel like it is right now,,my car broke down the last weekend of august i was already behind but i could of made it,,,towed hom my brother paid to fix it surprisingly,,never thought he would and use to would have never,,,so i was already behind on top of the fact im a single mom of 3 living off low income..and then my dog got attacked pretty much lessthan 2 weeks later i took my tips from the day before and what i worked that morning that should have gone to rent and got him seen and his meds and here we are looking for someone to help with a surgery he needed yesterday..while my car is nt running great but it runs and i owe rent so we all have a roof over our head

Help Ace get Parvo Treatment — Gloucester, NC

Ace is a 5 month old German Shepherd/husky mix that we adopted on August 28th, 2026. At the time of his adoption he had Parvo. He is still in the beginning of his journey to recovery. We were unaware of Ace's medical situation and he was sold to us under the impression that he was a 3 month old puppy. We had also been told that he was fully vetted although no papers were provided at the time of pick up. Upon arriving home he immediately began showing signs of being severely malnourished and sick. We have since been to the vet three times to treat Parvo. Although Ace has not been with us very long his love for our family is already strong. As a single mother of three, it's important to me that he is good around my three girls. He already shows signs of wanting to protect them, he runs and plays with him when he can manage the energy and sleeps beside them when they're not feeling well. I love him dearly and hope he can make a full recovery. I'm a single mother to three girls, when I took in Ace I was too trusting when the "breeder" lied about his age and his health. There are times were I struggle to put food on the table, my kids are in love with this pup. He deserves the best life.

Help Farty get X-ray, blood panel, potential IV hydration — Green Bay, WI

Farty is a very sweet boy, who loves both me and my daughter (his sister). He enjoys watching the birds through the screen door, playing with his toys, and lounging around the apartment. He wears a bow tie, knowing that a handsome boy like him can pull it off. When he gets hyper, his zoomies sound like galloping, going from one end of the apartment to another. Farty has been vomiting most of his food and water since September 4th. He’s been seen at a local ER clinic, but due to financial constraints, I was only able to get nausea medication and urinalysis done to confirm his UTI was cleared up. The previous vet visit was over $300 for UTI diagnosis and treatment. Farty likely needs imaging per the doctor’s recommendation, which is over $500. Farty has been my best friend for almost 12 years. When he first came home with me, I was in a very rough place. He loved me when I couldn’t love myself. His presence saved me. Farty has always been in my daughter’s life. When I brought he home from the hospital, he marked her as his, rubbing his face on her head. He is her big brother, and that’s how she’s always introduced him. I have struggled with my health since I was a teenager, and now I’m unable to work. I’ve applied for disability benefits, but it’s takes time to get approved. I receive all other types of assistance (medical, food, housing, etc.) but there aren’t many out there for pets.

Atlas

Help Atlas get IV fluids, IV meds, hospital stay. — SC

I found Atlas under my car one night and it took my that night and the next morning to catch him. He was tiny and wild! I put him in the bathroom and assumed he would be wild for a long time. But after I fed him and sat with him he crawled in my lap and had been the best cat ever since. He loves his doggy siblings and especially close to his mini dachshund brother. So much so we call Atlas our newest doggy! Lol Atlas is determined and into everything. He got into our older dogs child proof bottle of Apoquel and proceeded to eat the entire bottle. We had no idea how tasty the company had made Apoquel to cats and also how toxic it is to cats. Atlas is in the local emergency animal hospital and is fighting for his cute, loving, headstrong little life. It is expensive but we want to give Atlas every chance to get well. We love him and he is family. He loves people, dogs, cats and anyone he meets. He is playful and cuddly and energetic and funny. He has completed our family in the few months we have had him. The vet bills are already at $2000 and will continue to rise as Atlas gets more treatments.

Lucy is a lovebug. She came into our family's life as a foster fail from the Alta Dena fires. With each day she became more comfortable and we quickly realized we were meant to be her forever home. She is incredibly brave and resilient, having stepped out of her scared shell to reveal the playful, cuddly girl she always was. Lucy LOVES her ball, her treats, her kisses, and her long walks. Lucy needed to go to the emergency room after not being able to keep down food for half of a day. From an initial sound with x-ray confirmation, the veterinarians told us she needed immediate surgery to address a foreign body obstruction that was causing her significant pain from her dilated small intestines. You can't help but love Lucy. From her expressive eyebrows to her versatile tricks (circle! crawl like a bug!) Lucy is a source of endless joy for our family. After the passing of our most recent canine companion, we weren't sure when we'd be ready to be vulnerable with another addition again. But life just happens sometimes, and sometimes it's the most meaningful connection you could hope for We needed to put our trust into the hands of the emergency vet in order to save our beautiful Lucy. There wasn't any alternative as the foreign body obstruction showed no movement and her pain was apparent. However the $11,000 hospital bill is a scary aftermath to consider.

Abandoned, Now Fighting Cancer

Strong Paws Rescue

Senior Blue was found wandering around an apartment complex, lost and confused. She was microchipped, but heartbreakingly, her owners never came for her or even responded when contacted. Thankfully, Strong Paws Rescue stepped in and made sure Blue would never be abandoned again. Once safe, rescuers discovered that Blue has cancerous masses along her mammary chain that need to be surgically removed. Because of her age and condition, the procedure is high-risk. If her veterinarian discovers extensive spread or necrotic tissue during surgery, they may be unable to safely continue, leaving hospice care as the next option. Everyone is hoping Blue gets the chance she deserves. Through it all, Blue remains a gentle, loving senior who spends her days happily napping at her foster dad’s house. After being left behind by the family she once knew, she finally has people committed to fighting for her. Her surgery is expected to cost approximately $1,500, and Strong Paws Rescue needs our help covering her care. Four Tiny Puppies, One Terrifying Diagnosis

At just two weeks old, Dylan, Dainty, Daisy, and Danny should have been safe beside their mama—sleeping, nursing, and growing stronger every day. Instead, their lives were already at risk. The four puppies, formerly known as Chloe, Charlotte, Camilla, and Conner, were part of a mama and litter found as strays and brought to a high-kill shelter in Houston. With newborn puppies especially vulnerable to illness and the shelter lacking the resources to provide the intensive care they might need, the entire family landed on the euthanasia list. Montana’s Pack Rescue refused to let that be the end of their story. The rescue stepped in and saved the entire family—but soon, their worst fears became reality. Dylan, Dainty, Daisy, and Danny all tested positive for parvo. For puppies this young, parvo can turn deadly incredibly quickly. Their tiny bodies needed immediate veterinary care, medications, fluids, monitoring, and supportive treatment to give their immune systems a chance to fight. Four puppies. Four parvo patients. Four little lives depending on the rescue that had already fought to save them once. Thankfully, all four survived. ❤️ They made it through the shelter. They made it through parvo. And now these once-fragile puppies finally have the chance to grow up and experience the lives they almost never had. But saving an entire litter from parvo came with significant veterinary expenses. Montana’s Pack Rescue took on those costs without hesitation because Dylan, Dainty, Daisy, and Danny deserved every possible chance. Please help us cover their lifesaving parvo treatment and give these four survivors the fresh start they fought so hard for. Claire Survived The Euthanasia List & Parvo

At just two weeks old, Claire was already running out of time. She had been found as a stray in Houston alongside her mama and littermates and brought to an overcrowded, high-kill shelter. Newborn puppies are incredibly fragile, and the shelter simply didn’t have the resources to provide the specialized care they could need. Claire and her family were placed on the euthanasia list. Thankfully, Montana’s Pack Rescue stepped in before it was too late and pulled the entire family to safety. For the first time, it seemed like little Claire had made it. Then the worst case scenario happened: she tested positive for parvo. Parvo is a devastating virus that can quickly become deadly in young puppies. And of the puppies who became sick, Claire had the most severe case. She was only weeks old, tiny and vulnerable, and suddenly fighting for her life. Her rescuers were terrified they were going to lose her. But Claire kept fighting. Montana’s Pack Rescue made sure she received the intensive veterinary care she needed, taking on the mounting medical costs because giving up on this little girl simply wasn’t an option. And Claire survived. The tiny puppy who was once scheduled to be euthanized—and then came frighteningly close to losing her life to parvo—is still here today because people chose to fight for her.
