Midnight came into our lives in a Walmart parking lot. She was in the back of a truck with several other puppies and was very sick. The moment I saw her, she locked eyes with me and crawled toward me. I knew I couldn't leave her there. I brought her home and spent countless hours caring for her, bottle-feeding her formula, giving her vitamins, and helping nurse her back to health. From the very be Midnight is so much more than a pet to our family—she is family. She has been a constant source of comfort, love, and support for my children during some of the hardest times of our lives. My children rely on her emotionally every single day, and she has been by our side through challenges that no family should have to face. Recently, our family lost our home in a devastating fire, and since then Midnight is much more than a pet—she is a member of our family and my soul dog. We found her as a very sick puppy in the back of a truck with many other puppies in a Walmart parking lot. She locked eyes with me, crawled into my arms, and I brought her home. I bottle-fed her every hour, gave her vitamins, and nursed her back to health. Since then, she has rarely left my side. Romeo is a 14-year-old domestic shorthair cat who has been a beloved member of our family since we first adopted him when he was 8 years old. He is a diabetic senior cat who requires ongoing insulin management and veterinary care. Recently Romeo was exposed to seasonal pollen which triggered respiratory distress. He received initial treatment but continues to experience breathing difficulties. As a diabetic senior cat, respiratory illness carries heightened risks and requires prompt veterinary attention to prevent escalation. We have been taking him to Paws and Claws. Romeo is a laid back and affectionate cat with a small stubborn streak. He can be very persistent when he wants something, but all around a very good boy. He loved his adopted sister Mimi (also pictured). They spend most of their days cuddling and hanging out together. I lost my job back in November and have since gotten a part time gig that covers only half of the bills we need covered. Since discovering his diabetes in 2024, we have spent over $9000 and maxed our care credit.

Lexi

Lexi is a 4 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier in Natural Bridge , VA, who needs $3,000 for Emergency Spay and Heartworm Treatment.

Lexi came to me in November of 2025. She knows basic commands and listens very well. She is house trained and is not good around any other animals so she is the only pet. I have very limited income and no transportation. Lexi came out of heat and started pouring blood from her uretha. We took her to Lexington Animal Hospital and she was diagnosed by Dr. Mollie Fox. Dr. Fox diagnosed Lexi with heart worms, Lyme disease and pyrometra. Lexi will need an emergency spay and due to the heartworms it will be more complicated. Lexi is the sweetest dog. She loves to cuddle. She absolutely knows she is the boss of the house. She knows basic commands and is house trained. She sleeps in the bed and on the couches. She loves to play with squeaky toys. I am on disability due to an accident. I am restricted physically as to what I can do so my income is very limited. Lexi is like a child to me. Wherever I am she is not far away.

Modelo was a blessing right from the beginning. He was rescued from a family that couldn’t have him after he was brought home at six weeks due to the parent of the girl he was given to saying that she could not care for the dog. We took him in without question. He was the best addition to our family. We already had two beagles, Mike and Maria and they love him dearly. We couldn’t be more blessed. 6/2, our family's world shattered. Our beloved dachshund who is just a couple of days shy of his second birthday, Modelo was involved in a horrific car accident. He is our pride and joy, and we love him endlessly. It happened in a split second. Our other dog managed to dig a hole under the fence and got out. Modelo did what any loyal brother would do—he ran right under the fence behind him. Tra Modelo is a very active boy he likes to run jump and play. He is very attached to everyone in the home especially his grandma and grandpa. He loves eating ice and any food that anyone has he’s always got to try. He is a pure bundle of joy. Modelo was hit by a car and there are very big unexpected financial bills associated with the need for his surgery and care. I’ve tried to apply for numerous credit cards associated with pets, but was not approved due to my debt being too new as I just bought my home in 2024

I rescued Chloe 8 years ago and 4 years after that she surprised me with puppies (she was supposed to have been spayed!). We've been family ever since. They are my entire world and I'm not anywhere near okay with letting them suffer through this. I am looking to save my dog's lives. I'm still in shock from how fast I lost Dash. I am beyond terrified that I'm going to lose the rest of my babies to Parvo. I'm trying anything and everything I can to nurse them through this horrible disease. Dash was the "Alpha" of the bunch. Dahmer is the crazy one (hence the name), but he's also the biggest mama's boy. He won't come inside the house unless I lift him over the threshold. Pew is the adventurous one. He's the first to try new things, and the only one that let's me groom him. Sam is my shadow. He smiles in his sleep, and takes every chance he can to give me kisses. Life's been "A LOT" lately and it seems like everytime I get ahead something happens to knock me back. The last thing I expected after I finished playing catchup with the bills was to have my babies lives put on the line.

My family got Goober about a year ago. 2 of my little siblings and me got dogs so my little brother wanted a cat to make it “fair” it was easy to give her the name goober cuz well.. look at her! She used to annoy our old cat Luna like crazy and she’d go exploring outside any chance she got! She also likes to sleep in really funny positions. Now that Lunas gone shes our peace in the chaos of dogs. It started with our cat Luna. we have a doggy door so our cats go outside sometimes. Luna never went out till goober had her babies. Then out of nowhere he got sick. He was laying on the floor where the dogs are and his eyes were weird. Then he started freaking out so we laid him to rest a week ago. Goober is gagging and laying on the floor etc and she’s breastfeeding so her kittens are at risk Despite her chaos and silliness she’s such a caring mom which shocked my whole family lol she’s always making sure they are clean and happy and she’s very vocal with them. When she’s not in there she’s usually playing outside or sleeping in a chair or a ledge. my big brother loves her sm. He signed a fake document with my little brother saying he has 50% custody. It’s so sweet honestly Like everyone moneys tight right now. And our pets don’t deserve to face death because of it. I just want her and her baby’s to be alive and healthy instead of relying on hope.. we just lost Luna.. we can’t lose goober too

Bella came into our family from someone on Facebook. She instantly became a part of our family and our 2-year-olds best friend. After getting her menstrual cycle Bella began suffering from seizures. She is currently being medicated for them but her seizures are becoming more violent and hard to witness. I am requesting assistance with her medical treatment to get her the care she needs. Bella is seen by an amazing Vet named Dr Rena. At Family Pet Clinic. She needs her rabies shot, to be spayed (one of the major triggers to her seizures), ongoing medical management. Her seizures are being managed with 1 medication but she would benefit from having the other necessary medications as well as a rescue medication for during her seizure episodes. Bella is special because she is spunky, kind, silly, and loving. Bella and her best friend Noble (2) have the most amazing bond. They both spend the most time together running, playing, stealing snacks, and getting into mischief together as best friends do. My family is currently struggling to make ends meet, while I do start a much better job in 2 weeks, it does not cover the past due bills and Bella’s care. Our family is at a crossroads and will have no other option but to surrender Bella so that she can have a better chance.

I met Piggy about 6 months after the loss of my Yorkipoo Belle at 14 years old,I didn't think I could love another dog but then I met him and fell for him. He started acting weird wouldn't eat or drink or play,I took him to the Vet and they said he has an upper respiratory infection they gave him an iv and antibiotics, I took him back today and they say it's pneumonia now and he needs to be in vet hospital on oxygen to survive and I don't have that kind of money lying around. Waukesha Veterinary Hospital. He has such character, I never know what to expect with him,he gets along with my cats and is so sweet and loving sleeps with me every night cuddling up to me. I am on a SSI Fixed income and work part time,im 74 with bad health and my dog keeps me going every day.I live alone with my pets with no other $$ coming in.

My pup is usually a happy go lucky dog but today he woke up. We live in our apartment. He's always so happy but today he looks miserable like he needs help. I want to help him Today he woke up and is refusing to put any weight down on his leg.. i believe it could be as simple as a broken paw but it is still at least 100 dollars to check. He is my best friend. I do everything with him and for him. Yes he can make me upset but seeing him hurt makes me so sad I could cry. I cannot handle it and I feel bad I do not have the money right now to help him. I need help with just a check up 100 dollars at the urgent care hospital - the humane society. It's just he tends to growl and etc so they may not take him.
