Stella

Stella is a 11 Year Old Mix-Breed in San Francisco, CA, Who Needs $2,000 for Chest X-Rays & Removal of Tumor Surgery.

San Francisco, CA

My pet came into my life in 2014 at 8 weeks old and it was love at first sight. My mom was battling an illness at the time, and when my husband showed me her picture, I instantly knew she was mine. Our close friends had rescued her and her brother, but two puppies were too much for them, so she became ours. She's been my constant companion through everything for 11 years now. Stella is battling Mast Cell tumor/inflammatory carcinoma disease. After two months of ER visits, biopsies, and treatments at South Park Animal Hospital in San Francisco, we've exhausted our savings and bank accounts. Yesterday brought a sudden overnight regression. Her doctor says she urgently needs x-rays to determine spread and surgery ASAP—her prognosis worsens daily without it. Stella has been my constant through unimaginable loss—my mother in 2018, then both in-laws in 2020. She became my lifeline, licking away tears, never leaving my side on days I couldn't move. She follows me everywhere, even to the restroom, bringing light to every moment. I've never known a love like hers. She's everything to me, my husband, and has been the heart of our family for 11 years. We're a one-income household due to my husband's health. Two months of ER visits have drained our savings/bank accounts & I can't gather funds for her x-rays and surgery. Stella carried me through losing my mom and in-laws and I need to carry her through her health journey.

Duke

Duke is a 6 year old Mix-Breed in Tucson, AZ, who needs $1,008 for Sedation, Labs, X-rays, and Medications.

Tucson, AZ

Hi, I’m Duke! I am named after The Duke, John Wayne. He is my dad’s favorite, so dad named me before we even got home from the shelter! I have mom and dad, and three human brothers. Don’t tell my other brothers, but the youngest is my favorite. My nicknames are Doofy Dog, Whats in your mouth, and No jumping. 🤣 I love playing with my family, and snuggling with Mamma in her recliner, and treats!! Duke has been peeing more frequently, & only pooping every 2-3 days. He has lost almost 10 lbs in the last 6 months, & his liver enzymes are VERY high. X-rays showed nothing, but a radiologist needs to read them to know for sure. Liver meds might help, but only if something serious isn’t happening, we don’t know that yet. He needs future visits. Rita Ranch Pet Hospital, Tucson, AZ I (Dukes mom)have severe anxiety & PTSD from childhood trauma. He is a very special dog in a lot of ways, but the help he gives me is invaluable. From just sitting by me when he senses my mood change, to, quite literally, licking the tears from my eyes, he always knows what to do when I am struggling. I truly don’t know what I would do without him. He isn’t a trained service dog, but he could be. I am currently not working due to life circumstances, so money is very tight. We can afford some, but not all, of today’s visit, labs, X-rays, and meds. I am worried that the meds may turn out to be a long term thing, or there is something worse going on, and we are worried.

Keelo

Keelo is a 3 Year Old American Pit Bull Terrier in Cameron, NC, Who Needs $2,000 for SA Chemo Treatment (Doxorubicin).

Cameron, NC

We met Keelo in Jan 2021 after a relative offered us a puppy. He was the only tan one and came home on Apr 3. We named him Keelo on the way to Walmart for his stuff. He’s been with us 3.5 years. Lala (his gf) joined a year earlier and has been with us 4.5 years. They had puppies, and one, Milo, stayed with family. As Milo grew and Keelo got sick, they began to clash, so we keep them apart for now. On July 30, 2025, Keelo received a diagnosis of stage 3-5A lymphoma cancer. I would like for him to receive SA chemo treatment every three weeks with four to five months of remission. Keelo was going to the Blue Pearl Animal Hospital in Cary with Dr. Karri Miller. I do plan on giving him at home remedies for longer remission. His human mother (my gf) is Keelos' favorite person. He will immediately take my place and cuddle under his mother as soon as I get out of bed in the morning. Keelo despises summertime and being outside in the heat. Keelo's bunny-like hops make me smile when he runs. I found it funny that Keelo would bring you his dog bowl when he was hungry. Keelo is not an aggressive dog; he loves people. I worked for a trucking company that paid well and helped me care for Keelo, but I quit when they mismanaged my finances. Issues with my CDL followed, and now I’m trying to fix them with no income, debts to pay, and Keelo’s health still my priority.

Bella

Bella is a 9 Year Old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel in Humble , TX, Who Needs $500 for Blood Work Panel for Seizure Diagnosis and Meds.

Humble, TX

Bella originally came into my life when I was active duty military she was given to me by a coworker that was looking to rehome her at the time she was four years old. She currently lives at home with me. She received her name from her previous owner, but I like the name so I kept it. Prior to June of this year, she hasn’t had any medical issues this past June while on a walk she suffered a heat stroke after being rushed to the vet & a few days in the vet. She was treated and made a full recovery, but in the recent months she began to have seizures. She’s had three altogether and after bringing her to the vet, the vet recommends her getting blood work done to find a root cause Bella is incredibly special to me because she served in the military with me patiently and helped a lot with my mental health over the years. She’s the only family that I have my father’s deceased and I’m not close with any of my living family members due to being in the foster system, most of my life. She was there for me when I had no one else and that’s what makes her so special to me After being discharged from the military due to medical reasons, I’ve been put on a fixed income and after exhausting all of my income, this past June on her heat stroke it is made it increasingly difficult to keep up with bills around the house.
