Squirt was born 2 years ago. My friends dog had puppies, I was given the opportunity to adopt one. Squirt was the runt out of the litter, she was born without a sac. My friend asked me if I want to choose another, absolutely not, she's a fighter. She's not bigger than the rest of the litter! She's my ace, she lives with me, sleeps with me, and never lets me go anywhere that's not within eyesight. Squirt was playing at a friend's house and slipped on the wooden steps leading into the den and dislocated her kneecap. She needs surgery, she's in pain every day. It breaks my heart. She's been on doggie ibuprofen for the inflammation and pain. Squirt loves to talk... Especially at 3am. She's quirky,highly intelligent, and has human like eyes. She will be a puppy forever. She's kind, clingy, and loves other animals. Only dog I know that will walk up to cats and try and play. She's scared of mean dogs. She's a lover. It would mean the world to me to get her out of pain. She needs this surgery badly, my poor baby can't go on walks, limps everywhere and still greets me with a smile every day. The surgery is $5000. I really need some help, I can't afford it.

I adopted Shadow about a month ago from Bedford animal shelter. He was an older dog and people kept over looking him- I feel in love with him immediately! He is a gentle boy, very calm and whip smart. I’m 7 months pregnant and could not handle a high energy puppy- and he fit my needs perfectly. I live alone and was lonely. I just knew shadow was my dog! When I got Shadow I knew he had a case of kennel cough. I took him to the vet (vca Bedford animal clinic) with the free vet visit that came with shadow(perks!!) and he was given a diagnosis of kennel cough that came with antibiotics and steroids. But it’s now almost 4 weeks later and he doesn’t seem to be improving. He still has a deep wet cough and snot coming from his nose. Shadow is amazing! He is so well behaved. His name suits him because he never leaves my shadow. He is everything I need in my life right now. I wanted a dog to be able to bond with before I give birth here in about 3 months, he is calm and sure of himself. He’s still a puppy in a lot of ways! He loves tug a war and carries his toy when we go on walks like he could not be prouder to own it! Shadow is everything to me. Unfortunately I’m 7 months pregnant and on my own. I’m barely making bills and really can’t afford to pay a vet bill. Shadow deserves to be completely healthy and I don’t want to wait for things to get worse for him. I love with this dog!

Luna is our 5-year-old Black Labrador, and she means everything to us. Two years ago, she bravely underwent ACL surgery on her left knee, and we were so grateful for her recovery. Luna also has a heart condition, which makes any surgery a scary and stressful experience for our family. She is truly our baby, and seeing her in pain breaks my heart. The pain she’s experiencing is so hard to watch, and we know she needs help right away. Her surgery is considered emergent and is already scheduled for Monday, November 24, 2025. This is an unexpected and overwhelming financial burden for us, especially since I just started a new job and our resources are stretched thin. I got Buckley on Mother’s Day this year at seven months old he is just over a year old now he lives with me and my fiancé. He is my baby boy my ESA and I love him very much. He is a wiener terrier lab mix. He’s such a good boy and we love him dearly. Sunday, we noticed he started to refuse to eat any food or drink any water. He puked up food that he had previously eaten &was having a hard time going poop since he has been puking up bile still not eating or drinking anything I took him to the vet Tuesday and because I don’t have enough money for bloodwork or imaging, we were sent home with nausea meds that he threw up & he was also given fluids he is special to me because he is my ESA dog. He helped me through a lot of anxiety. He is such a sweetheart. He’s so smart. He plays all the time he loves to play. He’s full of joy and happiness all the time I love him dearly and I’m very worried about him because since this has been going on, he hasn’t played at all he barely Does anything other than sleeping All day I’m very worried about him my fiancé and I both work we both make minimum wage my hours very between 30 to 37 hrs but I was in the hospital and out of work for a week and my fiancé lately keeps getting sent home from work cuz there’s no work, as they run out of material necessary to do the job he does

Chico came into our lives in May, the previous owner could not keep him anymore so we rehomed him. We have never had any flags before so my 14 year old and my 16 year old welcomed Chico and were super excited since they always wanted a dog Chico had been throwing up and diharrea or 3 days, so we decided to bring him to the hospital. X-rays, exams, bloodwork and test to find out what’s wrong it’s really expensive. Chico loves us, gets so excited when the kids get home from school. Especially my daughter, that’s his favorite. Follows her around everywhere and doesn’t not want to leave the house unless she comes. It’s so cute. I am a single mom and decided to get this pet a home a kids that love him but unfortunately the cost of pet care is expensive did not expect it especially aprons this time. Venom, is 7 years old. My son and daughter named him after watching the movie when he was 3, her 13. We saved him as a preemie from a unsafe crowded home. He's grown into a strong, healthy, very happy and active important part of our family and is just as important as my children. Hes their brother, our protector, and so much more. Venom woke us up whining at 4 a.m because he couldn't get on bed and noticed he was dragging his back legs. The emergency vet said it his lower spine vertebrae is pinching off his nerves. Said it was common with this breed. We were given two choices, to do surgery at eastern Carolina veternarian or to be euthanized. He's still trying to be active, eat, just can't use back legs. Venom stays along side me everywhere I go including the bathroom but he spends time with both kids. He and Ozzy, our cat, play constantly always running around our large piece of property. The surgery is up to 8 grand and we only have a couple of days to make the decision. We had to replace our roof with our savings and have no way of coming up with the funds. Winnie came to us on Christmas Day. She is full of energy and loves everyone and everything. She was a gift for my 11 year old daughter and she would love nothing more than for her to come back home. Winnie is currently undergoing emergency surgery at Princeton Vet Hospital in Princeton Indiana. She has a bowel obstruction that is being repaired. Surgery is very expensive and I have not had a full time job for a long time. She is so sweet. She shakes her whole butt when she gets excited. She loves other animals and kids. Mom is her favorite and she loves her dog sister mavis. I was laid off for several months until recently. Today Winnie required emergency surgery to fix a bowel obstruction. The cost of the surgery is at least $1100, maybe more.

My beautiful boy came into my life in 2022 almost 1 year after my daughter died. He was being rehomed and I knew he was meant to be mine. His previous owner called him Drago but that didn't fit him. On the drive home I kept saying different names. When I said Kane, he liked my face and that's how he got his name We had a huge bee infestation at our house. I'm severely allergic so we had an exterminator come out. Kane eats all kinds of weird stuff, so when he would catch bees and eat them we didn't think much of it. Then he got sick. When we took him to the vet, all the tests pointed to his liver. Our vet believes it's from the toxins used to kill the bees. Kane is more than just a pet—he is my constant companion and the furry love of my life. He's my psychiatric support animal. Hes been my source of comfort and strength, helping me get through some of the toughest times of my life. He's my protector, my Guardian, my big boy. And I'm terrified I'm going to lose him way to soon. The costs for his care are going to be overwhelming, and I need help. He is requiring special food, numerous prescriptions, and has been referred to a specialist for further testing and possibly a liver biopsy. My savings is gone.Please help me give him a fighting chance.
