I met Lucy when she belonged to a friend of mine and she was 1 years old at the time in 2014. She immediately got excited and wanted to be close to me and give me kisses. I believe she bonded with me at that moment because even when she didn't see me for a long time she would do the exact same thing every time she did. I told my friends if she ever needed another home I would gladly take her. Yesterday on July 30th Lucy was laying on the floor and wouldn't get up. I tried treats and showed her leash to her and neither worked. I had to lift her to her feet to get her to go potty. She stumbled a couple of times and walked really slowly. The Emergency Vet said she has a mass on her spleen that is letting too much blood in her system and it makes her sick. It has to be removed soon. She is there most loving dog I've ever met. She never growls or barks at anyone. My new born niece was here earlier this week and Lucy was interested in her and sniffed her and that was it. She came into my life as a re home and had been with me since 2020. She is my emotional support dog and I call her my Everything. When I'm depressed she's they're. When I'm upset she's there. I love her so much We just moved to Washington state from Atlanta GA after I had a divorce. We drove 6 days across the country to live with family. I am staying with my niece and staying over. I can't afford her surgery right now. She is my reason to keep going. She deserves the best life.

I've loved Khaleesi for 3 years. A breeder in Idaho raised her; until she arrived we FaceTimed weekly she knew my voice and her name. She deeply bonded with her cat brother and sister right away. Sadly, we've been in emergency housing for months. This sudden instability and financial crisis mean I cannot afford her emergency vet care, but I am desperate to keep our family together Khaleesi is experiencing a severe gastrointestinal emergency. She is growling, visibly uncomfortable, and straining in/out of her litter box with no stool passing. Her latest stools hair and runny. Home remedies wet food and pumpkin failed. Needing emergency visit to Caring Hands Hospital, Oliver was helpful giving me the minimums based on description, exam meds X-ray fecal test She is like my baby, so loving and sweet. If I don't pay attention fast enough, she rapidly nudges my arm with her wet nose to hurry me. I get butterflies feeling her love! She rolls over for belly rubs, sleeps on my chest, and climbs onto my shoulder. When excited, she sits on her hind legs like a little prairie dog. She got me through my hardest times; it breaks my heart I cant help her We fled a domestic crisis. I cannot work while stabilizing my daughter’s and my own trauma in emergency housing. She is our family. Saving Khaleesi means keeping us whole; her health means our small family survives this crisis intact.

Bruno was adopted at the human society in Hawaii. We adopted Rosco first and then went back with Rosco to let him choose his friend and he picked Bruno. They have been inseparable since Bruno is doing fine till the month of May where he got diagnosed with Cushing’s disease and we thought great. It’s easy to manage and then two weeks later he was not eating wasn’t doing well and we found out that he wasn’t diabetic ketoacidosis so he spent four days at the emergency room fighting for his life and now we are managing it, but it is not recovered 100% yet Bruno is a special little boy because he is always looking to make sure that everyone is OK he comes and he licks your hand the minute we walk in the door he can sense if we’re sad or not and he’ll just like follow us around lick our leg and make sure that we give him attention and then when we pick him up, he’ll kiss us and just be so sweet he’s just such a good little boy. It will mean the world if we can get help to cover this bill because we do not believe in euthanasia and that’s what the hospital offered even though diabetic dogs are treatable and it will mean the world if you guys can help us because the bill is insane

Hope in the Desert: Give Egypt's Forgotten Dogs a Second Chance

Before sunrise, a small team ventured into a remote desert region of Egypt where survival is a daily struggle. With little access to food, clean water, or veterinary care, countless stray dogs are left to fend for themselves. For many, hunger, illness, and untreated injuries are simply a way of life. These five dogs were among the lucky few. Thanks to the dedication of Paws & Claws Animal Welfare Inc., they were safely trapped and brought to a veterinarian, where they received care that most stray animals in Egypt will never experience. Four of the dogs were spayed, one was neutered, three desperately needed dental procedures to relieve painful oral disease, and every dog received a rabies vaccination and deworming treatment to protect both their health and the communities around them. For these dogs, this wasn't just a trip to the vet—it was the first time anyone had ever shown them compassion. Animal welfare resources in Egypt are extremely limited, and stray animals often face neglect, starvation, and little to no access to medical care. Even providing basic veterinary treatment can be an enormous undertaking, requiring dedicated rescuers willing to travel long distances and stretch every available dollar to help animals that so often go unseen. Now comes the next challenge. The rescue is carefully evaluating these dogs to see if any are friendly enough to safely enter their adoption program. If space allows, they hope to bring at least a couple of them into rescue, giving them the opportunity to experience something they've likely never known: regular meals, safety, love, and a family of their own. Your donation will help cover the cost of the lifesaving veterinary care these dogs have already received and allow Paws & Claws Animal Welfare Inc. to continue reaching more forgotten animals living in desperate conditions. When one of the fosters of The Project Outreach, Co. drove past them on the way to work, the two puppies were huddled together. Eight hours later, on the drive home, they were still there—waiting, scared, and alone. Somewhere along the way, Ellie suffered a serious injury, and they believe she may have been hurt when she was thrown from the car. Now, this sweet girl is facing a major surgery that will cost between $2,000 and $3,000. Despite everything she's been through, Ellie is fighting, and the caring people of this rescue are determined to give her the chance at the happy life she deserves. I rescued Monkey and his liter brother Funky from a lady that found them under a house by a feral mom. He has been my “Monka Baby” aka ESA since. He was my first cat I got after moving on my own, I got his brother the next day. We are a fully disabled household of 4; living on one SSI check of $994 a month, with terrible (not built) credit so we don’t qualify for any credits. Monkey hasn’t seen a vet yet but I’ve been advised to see one ASAP. He has lost 2 pounds, but is eating wet food! He is acting weird with his mouth, hasn’t eaten dry food or anything. Other than that he’s acting normal. You can feel every bone in his body. 😩 I believe we will use JAMS veterinary. He’s my baby, my world. He was trapped in a house fire in 2020, I was almost put in a mental hospital because I sat trying to lure him out for 17 days. I cannot handle losing him, I tell him daily he has to out live me! He is so spoiled, he LOVES attention, is not happy he was child locked out of my cupboards though lol. He has a fur brother and sister and two special needs human sisters too. We are on an extremely low fixed income, permanent mentally and physically disabled still fighting for my SSI but we get my husbands which is way less than our rent. We get paid and it’s gone immediately due to bills. It would mean the ABSOLUTE world to me!!

I've struggled with mental health challenges f Myshka was first seen at Hôpital vétérinaire du Boisé in Chicoutimi after losing weight, vomiting, refusing food, and becoming lethargic. Imaging revealed an intestinal mass. We're hoping to transfer her to Hôpital Vétérinaire Daubigny in Québec City for blood work, a sedated ultrasound, and a biopsy. We don't know if it's cancer, but we're determined to fight for her. I dreamed of having a Maine Coon for years, and Myshka exceeded every dream. She's affectionate, funny, incredibly gentle, and always by my side. Through some of the darkest moments of my life, she never left me. She isn't "just a cat"—she's my baby girl and my greatest source of unconditional love. 💜 I recently lost my job, and these unexpected veterinary costs are far beyond my means. Clyde is a goldendoodle. He is five years old and is a precious family member. He has been with Cody since he was a baby. He loves to take rides in the car and go for walks. Since the time he was born, he has had the sweetest demeanor. He and Cody go everywhere together. Clyde is truly like a son to Cody. From chilling at the house or going on a drive, the two of them are always together. Clyde had two emergency pleural effusions. The fluid keeps up and pushing his lungs and heart to the side. He has a CT scan tomorrow. The ultrasound and bloodwork have shown no reason for the emergency issue. He has been going to Mission Emergncy Vet Clinic. Clyde is very sweet and loving. He is truly a family member and like a son to Cody. He is very calm and happy go lucky. He loves to hugs and loves to give them back. Clyde's medical bills have grown to 10K and we have run out of funds to pay for the vet costs while they run tests and do the effusions to keep him alive while the doctors find a resolution.

Se7en is facing a life-threatening emergency at Animal Emergency Hospital & Urgent Care in Raleigh, NC. He has a severe intestinal foreign body blockage requiring immediate emergency surgery (gastrotomy/enterotomy) to save his life.
