We receive a text asking to find a home for Siren. Just one look at her and the answer was yes. She was a delight for the great grandchildren who were small just like her. They all made the perfect family and Siren gave them a reason to run for fun! Recently we were contacted to watch Siren for overnight visit, we noticed that her leg was tender and she favored it. When we inquired about it they stated that the previous owner said she was old and it was arthritis. Being concern we took her to urgent care and found out that her leg is broken. Caring hands Bristow, VA. She is a loving jewel, always a joy to have around. Playful, lovable, and curious, she is wonderful with the children. As she gets older, like many of us, she enjoys more sleep. She never complained about her leg, only lick your hand when you touched it I can't image how painful it must have been having had it broken without treatment. Since you read that I have great grandchildren I am on a fixed income SS. This surgery alone is nearly $3000k which I don't have. She also has other medical needs as well, which will follow next. Her femur repair is urgent to relive her from immediate pain, keeping her leg.

At work there were 3 male pups that they tried to introduce to a pack of other male dogs the male dogs tried to kill all 3 pups I fired my slide arm into the ground two pups ran back into a cage one pup went underneath the horse trailer I crawled underneath it and got him out he wouldn't leave my side. 4 yrs ago. Since then he has returned the favor by saving my life while homeless. Pop up was attacked by two very large dogs 5 days ago while he was at a friend of mine's house during that time we were told that his wounds were clean and he was doing fine we went to visit him to find all his wounds are infected and he's in desperate need of help. Pop up so very beautiful dog he has one blue eye one brown He's extremely good with puppies and little kids He's never hurt anybody he's as soft and gentle as can be and he is definitely a member of my family and saved my life when I needed someone the most I'm homeless cuz I was struck by a car a hit and run not too long ago a torn rotator cuff and haven't been able to work since due to crippling pain in my shoulder And Pup pup been there right by my side the whole time he was the reason for me not to give up and to keep going

Mojo was a blessing that came into my life as a puppy a year ago. Hes my life! My kid! Hes the sweetest dog I have ever been around. Even though hes not an support dog, hes been major support in my life due to an abusive marriage. I just found out Mojo has a birth defect and needs a double hip replacement. I need to replace both of his hips. Mojo just turned one this week and I am sick! I just took him to settlers park vet in meridian Id. They don't perform the surgery. The Dr is currently getting me info on where to go. Mojo is my life! I just got divorced from a very abusive marriage. He's my rock! He loves his mom. He's always with me. They say cane corsos are velcro dogs and he's definitely that! He's never not touching/ loving me. Just got divorced from 10 years of extreme abuse. I have been looking for a job. I start real estate school June 1, 2026! As of now I have no income coming in. I definitely cannot afford up to 10,000 per hip to be fixed!

Koda

I have had Koda for 8 years now. She came from Arkansas down by the boston mountains. We have pretty much been inseparable since the first day I got her. Koda loves truck rides, going hiking and playing fetch with just about anything. Koda has been sick for about 4 weeks now. We've been to the vet several times and we are still running more and more tests. Koda started vomiting about 4 weeks ago and acting lethargic. For the last few weeks she has stopped wanting to eat and has bladder incontinence daily. The vet wabts to hospitalize her now and give fluids and run more tests. We are using Strafford veterinary clinic. Koda is very smart and eager to learn new tricks. She is also very obedient and listens well. You can usually find her at Lowes or a store sticking closely by my side on thw weekends. Koda has been the perfect buddy dog to me over the years. Koda's vet bills continue to grow while trying to find out why she is so sick and then her new treatments are also adding up. Koda is my kid and means everything to me. I work full time but with my own bills I am struggling to pay for her vet bills on my own.

Scout was found on Facebook chained to a tree. I notified the owner that I would pay to bring him too me. He agreed and Scout arrived a few days later. The bond was instantly. We named him Scout, because I was a Cavalry Scout in the Army. We have 2 other dogs and they loved him. Playing together all the time. I believed we rescued him from a life chained to a tree and I know his life is better. Scout was running around one day and he started hopping on 3 legs. His left rear was barley touching the ground. We took him to the pet ER and they took x-rays and found he tore his ACL in his leg. It seams he is getting worse holding his leg up while he plays and go on little walks. We found a place (Maryland Veterinary Surgical Services) to preform his surgery for $4,800. Scout needs assistance. Scout plays with Red and Tackle everyday. He loves to be chased around the yard. Scout is a Belgium Malinois that has one speed (full throttle). He always like to be petted by everyone in the house every morning. He gets jealous when I pet Tackel or Red and he pushes up to get attention. Scout is one of a kind. He get a ball and runs around the yard shaking his head around hard. Scout is great. We are on a fixed income and it would take us over a year to save enough for Scouts surgery. We need to have this soon so it does not get worse. Scout and his family would love all the support you give him. It hurts me seeing him in pain daily. We need scout healthy again.

Violet is a domestic shorthair cat who was originally placed in foster care through the Peninsula SPCA before I adopted her into her permanent home. She is an indoor-only, single cat living in a stable and loving environment with a consistent daily routine. Violet was previous healthy until her most recent accident. Violet was seen at Ocean Avenue Veterinary Hospital in April 2026 after ingesting foreign material, causing a life-threatening gastrointestinal obstruction. She required emergency surgery to remove the blockage. Violet is recovering well following surgery and is currently stable under post-operative care. Violet is a friendly and affectionate cat who has formed a strong bond with me since adoption. She is very social, often follows me around the home, and enjoys spending time nearby or sitting with me. She is playful and curious, sometimes mischievous, but responds well to routine and interaction. Her presence provides comfort and companionship in my daily life. I am a student preparing to begin my Master of Social Work (MSW) program. The unexpected emergency surgery for Violet has created financial strain, leaving me in debt and making it difficult to fully prepare for graduate school expenses.

Penny Lane is a 7 year old “rescue” who has an 11 year old Basset Hound sister as well as 4 cat siblings. She has been in my life her whole life. I was originally her groomer, turned into her owner. She is a goofy mini goldendoodle who has a seizure disorder that is managed with medications. She is my emotional support and I am hers. We are inseparable. On Saturday April 25th, Penny was rushed to VCA Advanced Veterinary Care Center due to spontaneous bruising. She was diagnosed with thrombocytopenia, an autoimmune condition that attacks the platelets in her body. She is not out of the woods yet, and will need extensive vet care going forward. She is currently on round the clock medications and strict kennel rest to prevent further injury. Penny Lane is my whole world. She and her sister are the reason I get out of bed every day. Her bubbly personality always keeps a smile on my face and she knows when I need her the most. She will always come to me to comfort me when I am sad or crying. Even when she was at the ER she was trying to climb me to lick my tears away. She is such a devoted dog, just as I’m devoted to her. I am currently going through major health issues myself right now, making my income extremely limited. My job is VERY flexible with me and I’m honestly lucky to still have a job at this moment in time.

I got Smitty about 1.5 years ago when he was just a baby. Me and Smitty are inseparable and everyone loves him. He lives with me and my family and we are all extremely heart broken. Smitty is currently at AMC pet hospital. Smitty was hit by a car that fled. He is in critical condition and needs help. I’ve exhausted every possible way to pay for his treatments. He has been in the ICU for 6 days and and needs continuous monitoring and care. He was hit in the head and has a severe TBI. Smitty is full of life. He’s so energetic and loves to go for runs. He brings light into any room he comes into, he knows your moods without you saying a word, stays close when you need comfort, and finds small ways to make even the hardest days feel a little lighter. His personality is like no other. Me and my family have spent every dollar and every loan to get help for smitty. We’ve ran out of options. Smitty is such a big part of our lives and we can’t lose him. Any help would mean the world to us and to Smitty. We would go to the end of earth for him
