I have never lived without a dog. I had two dogs Marshall and Lilly both rescues. Lilly passed and Marshall was alone. I also missed Lilly. I tried to rescue another dog but was rejected because I did not have an enclosed back yard. My dogs have always been 20 pounds or less. I saw an advert. For Maltapoo pups and that is how I found Spencer. I got him at 9 weeks. He sat on my lap on the way home Spencer has big brown eyes. In January 2025 out of the blue I noticed a cataract in his left eye. It was not there before. I took him immediately to the vet. She verified indeed it was a cataract and that he was blind in the eye. She tested him for diabetes that was negative. I took him to the ophthalmologist. She said it was genetic and that he would most likely be blind in both eyes. Hi, my name is Spencer and I need surgery on my eyes. My mom is a nurse and works with kids. She had to move in with my gramps, who will turn 94 in October. He moves around, but mom takes care of him and helps him pay bills. Mom is 66 and can't retire because she loves gramps and me. Mom takes care of everyone. Mom has saved $3,000 towards my surgery, but would like any help because the eye doctor I am a 66 year old RN. I am working full time. I moved in with my 94 year old father to help him physically and financially. I have saved 3 k towards the surgery but it is very hard saving the remainder to have the surgery performed

Cash is 8 years old and has been with us for the past 6 years. He was rescued from his previous owner who didn't appreciate how special he truly is. He is the protector of our family and also the one who makes us laugh the most.He's not a fan of cats EXCEPT for one, his sister Penny. They love going on walks together and cuddling. Cash is one of a kind! Cash is the piece of our family that makes it whole. He is the biggest baby you'll ever meet. On 10/16 we found out that he has a massive tumor on his spleen and several small nodules on his spleen and liver. He underwent surgery today (10/17) and had his entire spleen removed. We are asking for any help we can get to help cover the cost. Anything helps. Westside veterinary hospital Murray, KY Cash loves walks, treats, butt scratches, and snuggling up to snooze. He can out snore any man. He is hands down a daddy's boy but when momma shows up he's ready to play. He is sweet as pie but has been known to get sassy when he isn't getting his way. He's mastered the art of talking and pouting. We truly would be lost without him. As most know, vet bills are costly and this was extremely unexpected. We are able to cover some of the bill but need some.extra help. Its hard for us to humble ourselves and ask for help. Please know that we will oay it forward and help the next person in need!

My husband passed 3 yrs. ago. A year ago my daughter convinced me that possibly a puppy would help with my depression. She took me just to look at them. I picked up this tiny thing and she licked my face. I knew I had to give her a good home! She looked like a Sophia, so I named her Sophia Grace. She has been my baby since. She's 21 months old. She is truly my baby! My saving "Grace"! Sophia had a seizure about 3 weeks ago. I took her to the vet. Dr. Stickler at Dixie Animal Hospital advised me her liver enzymes were extremely high. I have been terrified! I can't lose my baby! She needs an ultrasound and bile acids test. This is $714. I don't have this. She's just a baby! I can't lose her and be alone again! She is so sweet and loving! She's depending on me! I can't let her dow Although my husband has been gone 3 yrs., I still have bad days. Sophia hates to see me cry! She will come to me, lay her head on my shoulder and kiss my face. My grandbabies absolutely adore her and she loves running and playing with them! My 8 year old granddaughter calls a few times a week just to talk to Sophia! She gets so excited just hearing her voice! She's the most loving baby! I have been off work on medical leave since 8/2. I am only receiving 60% of my pay. It has been such a struggle to cover my basic bills! I'm on the verge of losing my car. I'm behind on the utilities. I feel like I'm letting Sophia down!

River came into our lives 4 years ago. We had never had a giant dog before, but knew we had the love, time, and space to watch him grow. He lives in our country house with Mom, Dad, two human brothers Logan (10) and Levi (8). He also has two dog siblings, Bingo and Rolly. River lives a pampered life with his own person couch to rest on and space to run and play. River is currently hospitalized in the ER/ICU at Carolina Veterinary Specialists in Charlotte, NC. He was initially brought it for vomiting that wouldnt stop, dehydration, and lethargy. He has since lost over 20 pounds and has undergone countless tests and procedures to try find the cause. He has not been able to keep any food, water, or by mouth medication in to this day. He is withering away. River is larger than life in every way. He is the gentlest giant and the biggest lover of his family. He is our everything. We go everywhere together. He loves to go on camping trips, the beach, mountain cabin getaways, or even just a daily trip to Lowes. He has his own special couch but prefers to sleep with human brother Logan and keep him extra warm. He is so silly and fills all of our hearts Rivers illness came on suddenly and without warning. He is still just a baby and we cant lose him. The daily ICU bills, procedure costs, and diagnostics are towering high, but we CANNOT give up on him. We still dont know the cause, so the cost will only cont.

Today my dog was diagnosed with diabetes and also known as DKA. it’s life-threatening and she is currently in the hospital. I can only afford one day in the hospital even though they want her to stay in for 4 to 5 which would be around $10,000.She’s a very sweet silver lab. I am seeking funds for my dog because she is now diabetic and will have to get insulin shots every day. We don’t know if one day is going to be enough in the hospital, but it’s all I can afford. She might recover from this or she might notbut usually dogs with DKA only survive around two years maybe more if managed properly she is currently staying at PET EMERGENCY specialty center of Marin my girl Sasha a.k.a. Sashi is very friendly has never been confrontational with any dog or human. She sleeps on my feet at night and wakes me up in the morning. She likes to go for walks and she loves bully sticks. I am currently in a financial situation because my husband passed away. I do not have his income. I have had Leo since he was 6 weeks old and he has been out family’s fur baby and brought us so much happiness when we were heartbroken. About 6 months ago we noticed his lympnodes were swollen so we brought him to vet which we spent over 2k in testing to confirm he in fact had lymphoma. Our worst fear as there is no cure for lymphoma. We decided to treat him even though we didn’t have the money. We are looking for any help to continue treatment as he is not currently in remission and we are at our ends and barley able to afford further treatment he is only 4 and we want to save him and give him a longer life with us. We aren’t ready to give up hope. I know he has a lot of life left if we could get him into remission Leo is a lover when he was feeling great he would love kisses and cuddling. He loves car rides. He loves to get up on couch and get under the blankets or even just lay in the bed. He is truly the best dog. Now that he’s sick it’s hard for him to do a lot of those things although he still enjoys his car rides. We have exhausted all savings and need help for treatments this would mean a lot to us as he’s my fur baby and part of my family. I’m not ready to let him go or give up.

I got my pup Vito in April as a gift. He’s an 8-month-old pit bull terrier mix who became more than a pet, he’s my child. He’s playful, loving, and brings joy into my life every day. I can’t imagine home without his energy, cuddles, and goofy personality that fills my heart with happiness. Vito was recently diagnosed with Legg Calvé Perthes disease, a painful hip condition that requires surgery so he can walk again. He’s being treated at Yellow Creek Veterinary Surgery and Imaging in Akron, Ohio. He’s still just a baby, and seeing him struggle breaks my heart, I just want him healthy again. Vito is the sweetest, most loyal puppy. He loves toys, belly rubs, and talking back when he wants attention. He senses when I’m sad and stays by my side until I smile again. He’s my comfort, my happiness, and my best friend. His spirit is bright even through pain, and that makes me love him even more. I’m doing everything I can to afford Vito’s surgery, but the cost is too much on my own. His insurance won’t cover it due to a waiting period. Seeing him in pain breaks my heart. I just want to help my baby walk, play, and live pain free again. Any help means so much.

Hello! We adopted these beautiful bonded pair less than a month ago from the West Valley Shelter. We named them Koda and Kenai from the movie "Brother Bear". This adoption is special because we lost our family pet two years ago and Kenai looks like the reincarnation of her! My daughter to the lost harder than the rest of us by still going through depressed grief. So this adoption was a blessing! We like many families adopted with not know the medical conditions of our pet kids from a rescue. We had to deal with Kenai being diagnosed with pancreatitis and parasites and Koda with digestive issues that have cost us over $1100. We need support on getting them better from whatever they experienced before that lead to their poor health conditions we had no idea they had. This bonded pair are the sweetest souls you can tell that had some trauma with loud noises and lack of confidence around other dogs. They are skittish, but gives the best hugs and kisses. It makes giving them the best even more of our goals. We are on a fixed income and did not expect from the emergency health issues right out of the gate with our fur babies. We need financial support to go directly to the vet hospital to get them what they need to get better, so that we can keep them happy.
