I rescued our boy, Duke, in 2020. He was dumped with his litter when he was only days old, and I was lucky enough to adopt him around 6 weeks old at our local humane society. He has been by my side ever since, through thick & thin. He was recently blessed with a baby brother (my 7 month old son, Luca) & they are best friends. Duke is our everything and we need any help we can get for him. As a rescue, Duke suffers from chronic anxiety, resulting in him anxiously scratching & flapping his ears, which ultimately cause ear issues, such as ear tip wounds and now, most recently, an ear hematoma. It’s getting progressively worse & he is battling a terrible ear infection as well from the swelling. He doesn’t want to get up to eat, drink, go outside or play. We are heartbroken & terrified. Duke is a one of a kind dog. Have you ever seen the movie ‘Marley & Me’? Well, he is just like Marley. The runt, a total pain in the butt & the best dog in the world to us. He is usually so active and excited but right now he is in so much pain and hardly moving. Our 7 month old son is just starting to crawl and Duke is too sick to play. He is so loving & deserving & he completes our family. Our baby boy Luca was born in March. We needed to upsize our home to accommodate our growing family & that came with inevitable financial struggle. I am still only working part time due to postpartum. It breaks my heart that I can’t give Duke the care he needs on my own.

Hello my name is Amanda and my 10 year old Catahoula cur mixed breed who is very sicks name is Blu. Hes like my child, I got him wen he was 8 weeks old. I still remember the first time I saw him, it was truly love at first sight! My sister gave him to me, in 2014, and we have been inseparable. I named him Blu because he had one blue eye. We rescued a lab in 2020, their best buddies. Blu saved me.. Blu has always been very healthy and active even now that he's ten years old. Until a week ago he's breathing changed and a cough set in. He went from great health to struggling to breath almost over night. This is definitely considered an EMERGENCY, specifically when I've noticed each day how his breathing has took a turn for worse. He literally is struggling for air... It breaks my heart.. Blu is definitely a talker, and howls Everytime I come home. Hes been loyal to me and by my side thru everything. He loves all toys specially his best dog friend, our rescue Lab Rex. They both are scared of thunderstorms and blue is fascinated by snow. I love the way he looks at me and the fact he still sucks on a blanket! Everything about Blu makes me happy except the sick look in his eyes... Money has been a issue lately because we just went through a flood then my boyfriend lost job (only income) during recovery process. Then car & truck broke down, so had to buy another truck,and start repairing our house. I think he has advanced stage of heart worms.

Mishka came into my life four years ago and has been my constant companion ever since. I got him as a tiny puppy, and from that first day he has brought so much light and comfort into my life. We share a deep bond. His birthday is just one day after mine, so we always celebrate together. He is family to me, not just a pet, and his goofy, loving personality is what I live for. He's my bestfriend. Mishka suddenly became very sick and started drooling, having stomach contractions, pale gums, and was visibly uncomfortable. He stopped eating and drinking, so I rushed him to the vet. After several tests they discovered he had a perforated stomach ulcer that required emergency surgery to save his life. The emergency surgery at BluePearl is very expensive and I'm doing everything I can to cover. Mishka is one of those dogs who feels more like a person. He is full of personality and always finds a way to make me smile, even on the hardest days. He loves belly rubs, soft blankets, and attention from anyone who looks his way. He has a gentle heart and brings a calm, happy energy to everyone around him. He listens, he comforts, and he has this special way of knowing when something is wrong. Mishka’s surgery and hospital care were completely unexpected and came at a time when I was already stretched thin. I used CareCredit to cover part of the cost, but the remaining balance is overwhelming. Having him healthy and home would mean everything to me.

Ivan is an amazing, innocent dog who loves life! He urgently needs surgery to walk and live comfortably again after being struck by a car. He needs immediate help to give him back the good life he once had. 🐾❤️ Ivan was struck by a car. He now needs a full hip replacement! He is in so much pain and can barely walk. He needs assistance to use the bathroom, to lay down and everything else. My family and I have already spent over $3K just to get his results, keep him at the hospital and etc. Now they’re telling us we need $6,000 for the doctors to proceed with his surgery. Which we don’t have:( Ivan loves to play outside, he loves to go to the park, trail walks. He hasn’t been to the beach yet but I’m sure he would love the sand too! He’s very kind and protective. Ivan loves peanut butter, meat and surprisingly fruit. He loves attention and loves to love. Even after he was brutally hit by a driver, he was kissing everyone with the little energy he had. He loves his life and people! WE NEED YOUR HELP PLEASE! $9,000 is a lot of money to pay out of pocket and my family has already paid $3K. Snowflake is our nine-year-old American Bulldog, a cherished member of our family. She is gentle, loving and cuddly, she enjoys long walks and chasing after balls. As an emotional support dog, she provides us comfort, whether she’s resting her head on your lap or cuddling with you on the sofa. Snowflake is very important to us. Recently, she has been diagnosed with severe corneal ulcers. She is experiencing significant pain, and her vision has become blurred. Immediate treatment is critical; without surgery, she risks permanent vision loss. The veterinary ophthalmologist at Fire Mountain Veterinary Hospital recommends a grid keratotomy, which will help in her recovery and help her return to her normal self. It's difficult to see that she doesn't enjoy our long walks as much as she used to. She used to like chasing after balls, but not anymore because she runs into things. She used to be very aware of what was going on around her and would always warn us of danger, but now she seems distant. The total cost for the surgery, medication, and follow-up appointments is approximately $3400. This unexpected bill has created a financial challenge for us, and we urgently need assistance. We want Snowflake to be able to see the beauty around her and enjoy playing again.

One day my dad came to my house with Larry and he was only 4 weeks old and his mom (Larry's mom) quit taking care of him so my dad got him from my grandma because he knew I have bottle fed dogs and cats before. I bottle fed him until he could eat on his own. I have two other dogs a 75 lb. Lab mix his name is Moe and a 14 lb. Small mixed breed and he was born handicapped. Larry is having problems with pooping and he doesn't eat like he should. And he may have eaten something at some point and had gotten something stuck in his intestines which in turn is not allowing him to poop. I don't know what all he will end up needing but to start off with the vet is asking for $281.00 for blood work and X-rays but he will probably need more stuff done like meds. My dog (s) are my world. I have PTSD and an anxiety disorder and whenever I am having a bad day he lays in my lap and he licks my hand and he won't move from my lap unless I make him get up. He is literally like my shadow. Everywhere I go he thinks he has to go too, he even tries to get in my lap when I go use the restroom LOL. I am single and disabled and I don't get much money. What I get to live on for the month a whole lot of people make in one week and I am raising my 11 yr old daughter. I also keep my grandson a lot. I also live with my mom to help her because she is blind. PLEASE help me pls

Benny Barkington is an elder Pembroke Welsh Corgi who was rescued from an abusive household in 2015. We live in an apartment, and ever since the loss of Stanley Ipkiss, our other corgi, back in July, Benny has been so, so sad, obviously grieving the loss of his companion. Benny came to my boyfriend with bad teeth and was terrified of everything. As the years have gone by, despite our best efforts, his teeth have gotten worse and worse and he is now left with an abscess on one of his back right teeth. Due to his age, we're not sure how well he would do undergoing anesthesia to get his teeth extracted, so we would need to get his bloodwork done to ensure he's healthy Benny Barkington somehow always finds the people who need him the most. He funds those who are quiet, sitting by themselves, and seemingly need some kind of companionship, even when they're not saying anything about it. We are carrying numerous veterinary bills from Benny's "brother" who had renal cell carcinoma and underwent surgery and chemo last year. We had to prioritize Stanley's cancer treatment over Benny's dental needs, and, $30,000 later, we're still trying to dig out.
