Remington lives in our home in North Carolina with our family, including my husband, our son, and our two other dogs. He is fully integrated into our daily routines and primarily indoors. He is well cared for, up to date on veterinary care, and has been a healthy dog prior to this unexpected medical emergency. He also serves as a service dog in our home. Remington had a sudden medical emergency on March 29th with severe swelling, fever, and a ruptured wound. He was hospitalized for nearly a week at Carolina Veterinary Specialists – Huntersville, where over 1L of fluid was drained. He is now home but requires frequent return visits for ongoing wound care. Prognosis is good with continued treatment. Remington is calm, loving, and deeply connected to our family. He is especially bonded to our son and brings a steady presence to our home. He loves mellow runs through the woods and playing with Mitra and Copper (on his terms). He has a soft spot for cheese and enjoys basking in the sun, always happiest close to us. While we both work full time, my job requires travel to and from Colorado, and my husband has a 60-mile daily commute. We also help support additional family needs. Having Remington healthy again would mean stability and comfort for our family.

She's very smart. Manged to learn how to open every door in the house. She is very curious and has got into some pickles at times. She's very sweet but a maga yapper. Never stops talking. Kentucky has an erupt abscess on her right side that need immediate attention by the vet. If the wound isn't taken care of immediately. It will cause other serious injuries. She's is in pain and I'm in need financially to help her feel better soon. At this moment she doesn't have a vet. I'm searching for one in my location. Kentucky has a spunky free spirit cork. She loves kisses and snuggles. Loves to talk even in the night as you try get sleep. Kentucky loves to cuddle and watch cartoons Pepper Pig and Bubble Guppies is her favorite. Xiaohu came into my life through pure fate. A friend met his previous family in a park just one day before they planned to surrender him to a shelter. I couldn't let that happen and took him home immediately. Since then, he has been my constant study companion, purring by my side during late nights. He is a brave survivor who chose me, and now I choose not to let him go. On April 4, 2026, my 1-year-old cat Xiaohu survived a tragic three-story fall. He was rushed to VEG Pikesville, where Dr. Lucie Henein and the team performed emergency surgery to drain air from his chest (pneumothorax) and stabilize his bruised lungs. While his breathing is now stable, he suffered a severe, displaced open comminuted fracture of his right hind leg. Xiaohu is more than just a pet; he is my constant companion and the soul of our home. Only one year old, this brave American Shorthair is known for his curiosity and "talking" to me whenever I’m studying for graduate school. He is incredibly affectionate, always sensing when I’ve had a stressful day and offering a gentle purr in response. As a graduate student, I have already exhausted my entire savings and used credit to pay the $3,879.94 emergency stabilization bill at the ER. I have done everything in my power to save his life, but I cannot afford this final essential surgery on my own.

Bruno basically found us. He came straight to my daughter on a day out and he’s never left. The second he got into the car he was a part of our family. Out of nowhere, Bruno became very sick and was diagnosed with a severe autoimmune disease AIHA that is attacking his red blood cells. In just hours, his condition became critical. Last night, he collapsed, his gums turned white, and we rushed him to the vca West La where he needs a blood transfusion just to stay alive until the medications can stop the attack on his red blood cells. Bruno is my heart and soul, and right now he’s fighting for his life. We do everything together. He’s a very silly dog that does odd things like choosing his own walk route and refusing to go another way. Bruno is the best boy. He is loving, gentle, and has been my constant through everything. The thought of losing him is unbearable, he truly means everything to me. I’m recently separated and supporting myself and my daughter. Every second he’s gone I miss him so the thought of losing him is unbearable. I would literally do anything for him as I know he’d do for me.

I met my husband 2010 and after few months of our relationship we decide to adopt cat. We found Pinky through adoption agency, she was so persistent to be adopted that day, she was playing with us, cuddling, and we decided to adopt her. She has been with us 15 years and 3 months. We have adopted 3 more cats, Misha,Luna and Miki. We moved in Canada 5 years ago and we brought Pinky with us. Lats year in June, we found lump on her stomach. We took her immediately to see Vet, and he removed that lump, and after sending for biopsy, they said it was Mammary tumor. She was fine for 3 months, then that lump came back. They have sent us on Oncology hospital in Mississauga Oakville, and after CT scann, they said its good because its not spreading on organs and lungs but she needs surger. Pinky is the sweetest and most loving cat. She has such a gentle personality with us and always wants to be close to us. She follows us around the house, sits beside us, and makes us feel calm and comforted just by being there. She has her own little ways of showing love, whether it’s cuddling up next to me, looking at me with her soft eyes, or simply staying by my side. She’s very attached to us. At the sam time when she was diagnosed,our other cat Leo was diagnosed with aggressive cancer too, so we had to pay all those vet bills, taking care of Pinky and Leo too, and Pinky was in hospital for 2 days, and then Leo passed away, and in 5 months we were drowning in debt

My husband and I had moved to Florida alittle bit after we got married in 2011, we had found someone with Boston terrier pups and we thought let add a little companion to our family. As we got there she basically picked us. New it was a perfect match, she was born in the month of September in 2012, and 14 years later she is still with us we didn’t move to a place she couldn’t come with us to! On April 2, 2026, Luna was diagnosed with a mammary mass that has spread to her lungs being metastatic cancer we new something was wrong when she just isn’t herself playing or eating like she used to eat. She is an old girl but I want to give her the best shot as possible and I don’t want her to suffer anymore than she needs to. Luna has been the core of this family, she brings us up when we are down she brightens anyone’s day. She is just the sweetest to everyone and ever other animal that she comes cross with “She’s the big dog” when the other dogs are bigger than her. She means so much to us and I can’t even fathom the thought of losing her. My husband and I work full time and we are trying to pull everything we can together try to get fund that we need with also trying to live comfortably so we have a roof over our heads. We have been saving to get her surgery and the care she needs.

Xavier had caught my mom's eye when he was a rescue as a kitten, and once he was available for adoption, her and my dad drove from where we live (Scranton) all the way to Oil City to get him. Unfortunately, since then, my dad has passed away and our income has gone down considerably, but our love for Xavier has only grown. We are looking to get him checked for and treated for an intestinal blockage, and need help with the vet expenses and treatment. Unfortunately, we do not have a decent income, and need help. The pet hospital we brought him to is Memorial Veterinary Hospital in Dunmore, Pennsylvania. We are not sure what he needs as far as treatment goes at this time; will update as this proceeds. Xavier is a very friendly, very loving and affectionate cat! Very vocal, too! He plays fetch with a string, loves his flopping fish toy, and loves his family. He follows us around, always curious and purrs loudly when we simply look at him. He is an invaluable member of our family, and we want to keep him around for as long as possible. My mom and I are disabled, and those on disability and SSI know how little they give in terms of income. We barely have enough to pay the bills and afford food, and do not have the money to afford vet bills beyond $200. My mental health is closely tied to Xavier as well.

I met Spice while going through a life altering experience, separating from my husband of 20 years. She was actually just born, and my cousin had her at the house when I came over. I held her and it felt as if she had brought life back inside of me. I asked my cousin If I could babysit and she basically never left my side. I have four boys and they developed a bond with her as strong as ours were. I had to rush her to the emergency room after weeks of not having bowel movements and she finally stopped eating she was tested for numerous things and had her blood drown to see why she was dehydrated and not eating. they couldn't find anything wrong. I was scared of coming home and finding her unalive that I begged them to not let her die. Having very little funds and only working part time. Spice is just what her name is, she brings flavor a special type of recipe. She's loving and extremely gentle. She's very lady like and protective of both her brothers and me. She is my first doghter and she adds some much-needed affection to our lives. I have four boys and this is their first pet. I must do everything in my power to avoid them feeling the pain and void of losing her. I can't let I'm currently working part time and I'm on financial aid trying to make ends meet. Even with having a part time job this economy is making it almost impossible to keep food on our table let alone clothes on our back. Now I have to make a choice on to rather put my dog down!
