Dandy came into my life from a family friend. Their dogs had a litter of dogs and they were trying to find good homes, and I happen to have an open spot. I took him home at 3 months old, and has been at my side for almost 8 years now! He even comes to work with me at the doggy daycare! With Dandy being so active and getting up there in age, it was inevitable that his CCL would he torn. It happened while I was on vacation while in the care with my parents, but I have noticed that his back legs seemed to be getting weaker even before that. My parents took him to MedVet near their house for the initial diagnosis, and then I took him to the MedVet surgical center to get more info. Dandy is so, so spoiled with all the people and dogs that love him! When I bring him into work, the front desk people battle it out who gets to give him treats! My roommate get upset when I bring him with me as I spend the weekend with my parents. If I don't bring him, my parents' and brothers' first words are, "Where's the boy?!" He have so many doggy friends at the daycare I work at too! I literally do not have the money for this surgery. Dandy is an epileptic yet active dog, playing fetch at home and playing with the big dogs at work, that he needs to be back on his feet nice and healthy asap. His seizures gets worse if he does not have enough stimulation.

Wally’s Second Wish: Help Save His Eyesight

Wally is just one year old, and he should have his whole life ahead of him. Instead, this sweet Rottweiler was on the euthanasia list at our overcrowded city shelter when Pioneers for Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) stepped in to save him. He did nothing wrong. He is pure love. Wally’s first wish was granted: he is still alive. Now we need your help to grant his second wish—to live pain-free and keep his vision. Wally urgently needs double entropion surgery. Entropion is a painful condition in which the eyelids roll inward, causing the fur and eyelashes to constantly rub against the cornea. This can lead to pain, excessive tearing, squinting, corneal ulcers, and potentially permanent damage to his vision if it is left untreated. Wally is such a young boy, and he deserves the chance to grow up without living in pain. He deserves to see the world around him, play, explore, and enjoy the long and happy life he should have had all along. But right now, Wally cannot have his surgery until the funds are raised. We don't want this young dog to have to wait any longer than necessary for the care that could give him relief and protect his vision. Please help us give Wally his second chance. Luke came to Lenity Vet Specialists in San Mateo, CA following a previous bladder surgery. Sadly Luke had become septic and was on the verge of death. He had an abscess at his surgery site snd numerous stones still in his bladder and urethra. Luke needs life saving care his wonderful family cannot afford. Please help save Luke’s life. He is a sweet boy! Luke is the most loving and easy to be loved Corso’s you would ever meet. He loves his family and any person or animal he meets on his daily strolls around the neighborhood. Sweet as the candy, Taffy lives with her brother, Blind Truman and her sister Tootie (both have or had Waggle campaigns) at the Sanctuary at NE Ohio Greyhound Rescue. This trio of littermates are know as The Triplets. A few days ago, we felt a concerning lump/mass in Taffy's throat. Our vet examined her, ran lab tests and took a sample for a cytology. While there is no signs of cancer or infection, we need to monitor the mass closely and if it doesn't resolve on its own, we need to move to plan B which will involve medications and/or surgery. Taffy inherited the "bad teeth" gene, like her brother Truman. Her dental disease started causing her problems that no amount of daily brushing, scaling or additives could fix. We recently had to extract her remaining teeth to prevent infection, pain, sickness and premature death. We now need to raise funds to cover those vet bills. Taffy is the most outgoing of the Triplets and is the strong one that holds the group together. She's also the overseer of the other hounds and always has her nose in everyone else's business. When NE Ohio Greyhound Rescue saw immediately how sister Tootie depended on Taffy for her support and comfort and they knew they could never separate them. Now, brother Blind Truman also leans on Taffy and together they share their caretaker's bed. Advanced age has brought Taffy some other medical issues, including an enlarged heart and pannus in both eyes. Thankfully, medications and supplements are keeping these in check. As a registered nonprofit animal rescue, NE Ohio Greyhound Rescue relies on donations to pay for the medical care of the senior animals in their program. They have raised funds to cover Taffy's pre-surgical lab tests. Now they need funds to pay for her surgery bill. Can you help Taffy to live the rest of her life free of dental pain?

Atlas is a 1.5 year old Nebelung in Reseda, , who needs $2,000 for Femoral Head Ostectomy.

I rescued Atlas from the East Valley shelter back in October 2023. He quickly made friends with our other rescues and made himself right at home becoming an essential part of the household. Yesterday (8/26) Atlas injured himself by landing wrong when either jumping or falling off a tall piece of furniture. He was rushed to the vet where he was given x-rays that found he has broken his hip. He was sent home with sedatives and pain medication, and I was given a list of vets to contact for help. I have been in contact with Simon Vet Surgical who says an FHO is necessary for his recovery Atlas really is a ham. He always wants to be watched and admired whether he’s eating, lounging, or rambunctiously running through the house with his friends. He’s the sweetest, most agreeable cat I’ve had the pleasure of knowing. I work full time but unfortunately do not make near enough to cover such an emergency. Any money I did have was already spent on yesterday’s vet visit. I want to get Atlas the help he needs ASAP so he can get back to his normal self and not suffer any.

Marlanena K.'s husband rescued Madison out of the back of a convertible. He brought her home, and the entire family fell in love with the pup. Then Marlanena's husband was in a terrible accident that left him in a coma for almost a month! Thankfully he finally came out of the coma, but he will be disabled for the rest of his life. Madison has been crucial to their family during this time and has never left his side. Recently the family noticed a tiny growth on Madison's gums. They brought her to the veterinarian, who diagnosed it as a tumor. The family is heartbroken, worrying it might be cancer. The first step is removing the growth, a surgery they can't afford. "I work part-time because I help care for my husband," Marlanena tells Waggle. "We live on a strict budget. We love Madison and would give all we have to make sure she is happy and healthy." Noelani came in to my life 9 years ago when she was 8 weeks old. Her gotcha date will be in 2 weeks actually. She has cat brothers and sisters that she treated like her own babies when we got them. She also had 2 puppies she had 7 years ago That she plays with every day in our yard. She is the light to our household and a parent to any baby animal we’ve ever brought home. Noelani is hospitalized at Fetch Veterinary Hospital with severe immune-mediated thrombocytopenia (suspected IMTP/Evans syndrome). She has critically low platelets causing ongoing GI and urinary bleeding and anemia, requiring multiple blood transfusions and intensive monitoring while awaiting platelet recovery. She also had blood pooling into her eyes from lack of platelets. Noelani is a motherly and loving dog. She LOVES attention and talking to everyone she can. She is so smart we think she is human sometimes. She gets along so well with her cat siblings that she herself thinks she’s a cat! She loafs and insists on small bites food. She lights up a room with her bright blue eyes and big smile. She is a big sweetheart who is so gentle, even when playing “rough” We took out a small loan, but I just got hit a few months back and they totaled my car. So I had to buy another and it hit hard and I’m not approved for any more loans. I cashed in my 401k from a previous job to try to pay for her treatment. I work 2 jobs already.

Cali was adopted from the Humane Society in August 2019. I knew she was meant for me the moment I saw her. She was actually being returned by her previous adopter as I was walking out the door. So many random coincidences made it so I was standing there at that moment. She is incredibly smart, obedient, the perfect family, dog, so very strong, and beautiful. She is my soul pup. Cali has 2 torn CCL’s and meniscus injuries. I secured funds for the 1st TPLO surgery, but I do not have the $5500 required for the 2nd. I fear if I wait arthritis will settle in. She is 7 & deserves to run again. Laying in her crate has caused depression to settle in. I would give anything for her quality of life to be back to what it was. She is being treated at Blue Pearl in Savannah, Georgia. Cali and I are a bonded duo. She is family and my commitment to her means a lot to me. Her unconditional love is like nothing I’ve ever felt. Without ever speaking a word, we truly understand one another. She lights up my days and seeing her injured has been earth shattering. I work full-time, my husband is a disabled vet. I simply cannot afford the surgery for the second leg anytime soon. I never turn a blind eye to an animal that is in need. Out of all his littermates, we locked eyes, connected & I said, “He’s the one.” A core memory: as a puppy, he jumped from a pet store cart to explore. That bold spirit is why I chose his Hawaiian name, Koa, meaning warrior, brave, bold, & fearless. Yet, my 11-year-old Pit Bull mix is incredibly sweet & gentle at home and with everyone else. He's been my silent healer through all my ups and downs. After discovering a drop in energy & appetite & lumps under his jaw, Koa was diagnosed with Stage IVb Multicentric Lymphoma at UC Davis Veterinary Hospital. My warrior is now in the fight of his life, starting his CHOP chemotherapy protocol and he's already responding well to his first treatment. With faith & determination, we'll do whatever it takes to continue to improve his quality of life. Silly, curious, & adventurous, Koa loves the outdoors, tug-o-war, & open window car rides. He’s incredibly friendly, greeting neighbors, dogs, and ecstatic when my sisters & his dog-cousin visit! Off-leash, he always looks back for me. My loyal shadow, he gently takes treats, loves chest rubs, lounges with dad, & keeps us warm in winter. Koa loves everyone & is deeply loved by everyone he meets. Between supporting my parents & an insurance waiting period diagnosis, Koa's $10k medical bills exceed my savings. We were awarded a $2k Compassionate Care Fund grant, but still need help! He is the heart of our home; seeing my warrior full of life means everything to us.
