Dahilla on April 25 th out in the cold rain received a simple pet from me. I felt bad that she was out side cold and wet and knocked on the house she was in front of. An elderly women popped out her head. I began to explain how it's too cold to have the dog outside cold and wet. She explained the dog just appeared. I look at her sadly and started walking home. She followed. Dahilla has water in chest and abdominal cavity. She was drained right now she having an ultrasound sound to determine issues. They wanted me to just put her to sleep instead of finding the root of the problem which we are doing now. When she followed me home I looked at the calendar and it was the 10th year of my husband's death. Neighbors were already yelling out a leash on your dog.wekepther I think she was a movie dog. Left right counts and she knows how to say yes and no with her head. She became my sons respiratory alert dog. She the dog responsible for pet day and allowing your dogs to go to camel back water park in pa. Trailways now allows pets Thank dahilla. She doesn't even bark but once you meet her even corporations to looking in another light. She has open a new era Dahlia came to us already with riped out gums and hanging gums and teeth.we were saving for her lump surgery this summer. We spent the money on back to front emergency rooms. She still hand feed. I won't let this dog die. She has a few good years left. Please help

Sheldon came into our life as a rescue. He was a gift for our son on his 16th birthday. We have always given our pet's names that had some meaning or sentimental connection. Our son was born in our first house that was located on Sheldon Rd. Sheldon was diagnosed with lymphoma cancer. This devastating news has turned our world upside down, but we’re determined to give him the best chance at a full and healthy life. The veterinarian at Community Pet Healthcare has recommended surgery and radiation therapy to remove the cancer and stop its spread. Sheldon has been our rock, bringing joy, comfort, and unconditional love to us every single day. He is not just a pet; he is family. He loves snuggling, bringing us a gift to the door like a sock or toy every day when we get home and still has so much life and energy left to share. Elton came into our life four years ago this December. My son found him on Petfinder when looking for a dog to rescue. We went and met him at the rescue and it was love at first sight. Elton is the sweetest and most fun and energetic dog, I know. he has added so much love and companionship since he joined our family. Elton is a brother to our cat, two bunnies, two birds and lots of fish. Elton was a healthy dog full of vibrant and love. Elton was taken to his vet the day before the worse all happened. He was x-rayed and his colon showed he was impacted so they gave an enema. That night, he woke up and was moaning in pain. And lost all function of his back legs. I rushed him to Pieper Memorial Hospital, where emergency care was given due to a herniated disc that ruptured. Elton loves to play soccer. He loves to play outside chasing birds and just running And having zoomies! he came into our lives at a time where we all needed love, and companionship. He has been through the ups and downs of our lives. He has helped my kids and I through happy and sad times he is always here to greet us, give us a lick and just be loving cuddling Elton. he loves chips and sports. Elton needed surgery immediately. Being a single mom & raising two children, one which will start college in the fall. My finances are very strapped with no money to spare. I had to borrow from my recently widowed mother to get him to help he needed. Financial help is needed

Sweetie came into my life when she was surrounded and my friend posted about her on FB. She was surrounded because owners retired and wanted to travel and didn’t want her anymore! When I saw her pictures I feel in love! I kept her name because it fit her personality! SWEETIE! She joined my clan of 6 and not to mention all the cats I rescued into my 501C.3 non profit org.! She fit In perfectly! Sweetie is a calm girl and she gets along wonderfully with all the other cats! She’s the oldest and calmest gal so all the other cats loves her. She has her favorite spot to eat and sleep and no one else takes it! Sweetie is so special because of her calm personality. When you look at her, she looks like a grumpy cat but she’s far from that. She loves to be held and loves to be groomed, so just spending time with her and being around her, makes me so happy! Sweetie saw her vet because of her cough so they gave her a steroid shot a week later it did not go away so an x-ray was done to find out she has a mass on her left lung we were referred to an oncologist who did a CT scan but did not feel comfortable doing a biopsy so she suggested that I take her to a surgeon. the only place that was equipped for what she needs was Texas A&M college! I run 501(c) 3 nonprofit so most of my savings have gone to saving abandoned abused cats that are going to be euthanized. So this was unexpected health condition and a huge unexpected financial expense I was not prepared for! I love her and want to save her!

* Jasper County Humane Society * Tilly came into Animal Control as she was seized from a cruelty case. Although she is just a puppy she has only known a chain her entire life. Even after being abused she is still very loving and affectionate. She was already sick when she came into AC. Jasper County Humane Society pulled her from AC to prevent euthanasia and she was placed into an outdoor kennel with a volunteer foster. Tilly was originally thought to have kennel cough. She was seen at a local veterinarian 2x and antibiotics changed. She still worsened so went to UGA vet hospital for additional workup. It was determined she had pneumonia and was admitted for breathing treatments and IV antibiotics. Tilly adores people! She gets along with other dogs but will gravitate toward people more than other dogs. She loves to snuggle and just wants a home to call her own! She has no aggression towards other dogs, cats are unknown. Jasper County Humane Society tries to help as many animals as possible but vetting and caring for animals is expensive. Her almost $4000 vet bill was unexpected and funds are needed to continue to help her and other cats and dogs.

APX 4 years ago I rescued gidget from the streets. She has been my support furbaby since. I'm on SSD and get limited funds per month. I've been in the hospital myself since March 15th. Just got home after a major throat infection, being tracked 2 times and I aspirated and crashed on March 17th. Gidget was attacked on April 14th her bill is over $4,000 along with my hospital bills. Since she's been my support furbaby for the last 3-4 years she sleeps at my feet every night. she waits on the floor watching until I get settled then she justs up and curls up at my feet. She will eat any that I eat and she waits until it hits the floor before eating. Every once in a while if you leave your plate unattended she will sneak n eat off your plate. If I'm down she knows and will come and sit in my lap gives me kisses and or nudges my hand until I love on her. She always makes me feel better just being gidget. I comb her hair out of her eyes, as soon as I say "now you can see" she shakes her head and up and down in her eyes goes the hair.. I give up! Lol On April 14,(I was still in the hospital) my daughter found gidget on the front porch (she had gotten out the night before and wouldn't come back in), she had been attacked by something, and was in really bad shape. She took her to the animal hospital where she has been until today. I am on SSD so I get limited funds. Rent and MLGW take 2/3rds of my income which leaves very little for my meds and food but we manage but with all the medical bills I just can't do I need help. Please 🙏

She has a fractured pelvis (ilium) and a severe compound fracture to her tibia—injuries that will require two major surgeries. We are hopeful for a full recovery, but her care is estimated to cost around $7,000, not including her spay and routine veterinary needs. But cases like this take a huge toll on our monthly budget—and every dollar spent here means fewer resources for the countless dogs sitting in overcrowded shelters, perfectly healthy but running out of time. We will always say yes to dogs like her. We just can’t do it alone. 💛

When Ellena S. first heard a sweet, kind-eyed puppy named Mumu was found as a stray and needed a home, she immediately offered to foster. Then she and her family fell in love with Mumu and adopted him. Soon after, they started noticing Mumu was limping. The more he grew, the less he used one of his legs. Then he started hobbling in pain on just three legs. Their veterinarian took X-rays and discovered one of Mumu's bone growth plates closed prematurely, and without surgery, his leg would get worse. "Without intervention, he could develop an accelerated case of arthritis due to the excessive and uneven pressure on his elbow joint," Ellena tells Waggle. "This could cause future discomfort or pain when he walks or plays." Now Mumu needs expensive orthopedic surgery to relieve the pressure and help him walk without pain. "Mumu has brought endless joy and fun to our family," Ellena says. "When he gets excited, his tail spins in circles like a helicopter that's about to fly him up to give you kisses. It breaks our heart to see him uncomfortable and not enjoying his activities." Please help Mumu have a pain-free 2023!

Neko has been my boi since he was 9 weeks old. A friend found him among a litter outside while living in Wisconsin and I took him in. He's been my baby boy his whole life and nearly a third of mine. He came to me with his name already, meaning "cat" in Japanese. We currently live in Portland, OR and he's got an 18 y/o "sister" Bebe. Neko was in & out of the emergency clinic for deobstipation since March, after struggling to use the litter box & stopped eating, drinking, and playing. He was diagnosed w/megacolon, which is exactly what it sounds like. His colon is so large &distended that he cannot excrete waste without medical assistance. He's been on medication since then and will be for life, &colon surgery may be necessary. Neko gained the name Stinko from his shenanigans like 3am zoomies and pulling push pins out of the wall. Since this diagnosis, it's only more apt. He loves to annoy Bebe and sleep at my feet. He follows me constantly and talks at me when he's inquisitive. He's my little mama's boy, digging in bags and sitting in boxes he definitely doesn't fit in. He's my shadow, I love him to my core. I was out of a job the first 3 months of this year, went through a divorce, &work only part-time as I just graduated college, and am now on the job hunt. I am barely staying afloat, and his medical bills won't stop any time soon. Knowing I can provide for Neko is everything.
