Circa 2008- My uncle's Siamese cat had kittens in valley center. The day they were born we went to visit and I picked out the one little oddball runt out of the bunch. The little explorer kitten who was wanting to adventure all on his own.... we named after Indiana Jones, Indy. I have been with my little familiar since the day he was born. That was 17.5 years ago. Having urinary issues through his life that he's pulled through- last year after losing mobility in his tail and being unable to control his bladder we have been assisting in expressing his bladder. This week, he had a white mucus like infection coming from his urethra that led to overnight hospitalization at the ethos veterinary hospital to monitor kidney levels. My little scaredy cat who wants to be an outdoor cat and loves rolling on cement, extremely vocal and always greeting me when I come home. He's always been a cuddle bug glued to my side. He's been with me through so much joy and tears in my life. He loves chatting with the feral community cats that come by to visit at our back door and loudly meowing at them to tell them of his woes. Living in Southern California and already struggling with being able to stay on top of bills in a dual income household with my partner, we have been trying to save up but got his with this unexpected $6,000+ overnight vet stays for Indy's care.

Bella wasn’t quite a year old when I adopted her from a rescue. She has been such a happy little girl even with her health issues still is a happy baby! She has lots of health issues but the recent issue is kidney disease. She’ll need iv fluids and tests and probably meds and kidney food to help her!!! In her younger years she “said I love you.” Also was very active. Now a days she loves hanging out with her highland cow friend, and making dog friends. Very fixed income. It would mean the world to me to help Bella and give her a few more years. I can see in her eyes she’s not ready to give up and I don’t want to give up on her just yet!

Iyla came into our lives as a rescue kitty when she was dumped. She was a kitten. She is 12 years old & an absolute sweetheart. I have never seen a cat in my life that is as affectionate as she is. She wants to be loved 24/7. Our family has been through a hard situation with one family member having been on life support & not able to work as they recover so money to help Iyla is just not there. This situation is really urgent. Her tooth is rotten and our vet says it needs to come out ASAP. We are now on the second round of antibiotics trying to hold the infection at bay while we try to raise the money. While the antibiotics work it doesn’t last a long time and then she is sick and in pain again. It hurts so bad to see her go through this and not be able to help her. When her tooth is not making her sick & feel bad she loves to be held & participate in everything going on in the family. She sits in the kitchen and watches me cook, sleeps with me at night, and loves to use her scratching pad. She easily walks on a leash but does not like to go outside. Her favorite toys are a crinkle cucumber and a bird that flaps & make tweets. She also loves sunning herself 6 months my spouse became ill & ended up in the hospital for two months & was on life support some of that time. They ended up having to have surgery also. It will a long time before they will be able to hold a job again. That cut our income in half. I work full time.

Tux is a 4-year-old rescue from Texas, believed to have been abused as a stray (he had BB gun scars that have healed). He came to me fearful of people, noises, and even grass. Now, he’s playful, loving, and full of trust. Tux has helped me survive depression and is my constant companion in a safe, loving home Tux is critically ill with severe sepsis and is undergoing high-risk emergency surgery. His condition is life-threatening, and even with surgery, his survival is uncertain. He is hospitalized at MedVet in Norwalk, CT, receiving intensive care, monitoring, and treatment from a specialized veterinary team. Tux is incredibly special — he chose me the moment he stared into my eyes. He’s playful, affectionate, and deeply bonded to me, providing comfort during my darkest moments. Tux is gentle with family and friends, loves cuddles and attention, and his joyful personality lights up every room. He’s more than a pet — he’s family and my reason for hope. Tux’s emergency bills have already reached $12,000, and I’m struggling to keep up while drowning in student loans and other debts. I’ve been financially independent since 18, lost my dad at 13. Having Tux healthy again would mean everything.

Piglet came into my life three years ago when I adopted him from a shelter. His original name was Chicken Nugget, but I felt Piglet suited him better because he’s quiet, loves food, and enjoys sunbathing. He lives with me as my only pet. Piglet loves plush toys, playing at the dog park, interacting with other dogs and children, and even tries to put on clothes if you let him, proudly showing them He was treated at AcutePet Urgent Care, where he was given antibiotics and pain medication. We were supposed to go for his vaccines this week, but due to this incident, I may not have enough money to cover his next vet visit. He desperately needs a rabies booster, as the attacking dog’s vaccination status is unknown. Piglet is a quiet, friendly boy who loves playing with plush toys and sunbathing at the dog park. He’s great with other dogs and children, always embracing new friends. Piglet has been a huge blessing and, honestly, more of a lifesaver to me than I was to him when I adopted him three years ago. He’s been my constant companion, cuddling with me through some of the toughest times in my life, and his I’m on a limited income and this unexpected $232 vet bill has put me in a tough spot. Covering Piglet’s care and rabies booster is urgent. Having him healthy again would bring me peace and let me continue giving him the care he deserves.

Blood work was good, but they won't do surgery without payment. He alerts us when daughter is about to have seizures, he is so well behaved, knows everything every one says, He loves all his family members, knows all our emotions, car sounds of our visitors and neighbors. Best behavior of any dog we had in past Both myself and my daughter are disabled and on social security, the$3,000 but if we could help him continue his service to daughter and we can't imagine life without his protection and guidance he gives to everyone

I got Augustus McCrea as a puppy so my 1yr old son had a best buddy to he raised with. They are both 7yrs old now and have always been together. We also have 5 chickens he looks over. He has master ears and scent and knows when the hawks are getting at them. We have one cat named Buster who he loves to irritate lol. He was named after a Lonesome Dove character. He's always been such a good boy. I am looking for help for an on going Immune-Mediated disease that pop up out of no where. Hes always been a healthy boy.He has been diagnosed with IMHA(Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia)a serious condition where the immune system mistakenly attacks and destroys its own red blood ccells. Out comes are not good. This will be an ongoing battle. Ironically I have sle lupus so i feel his pain. He's always been my sons best friend and side kick. They are never apart. He has a hard time when he has to go to school. He loves going shore fishing and when we get picked up to go on my dads boat. 100% water dog. He's always at my feet when walking stairs to help me with balance. He goes crazy if he knows grandma is coming over he adores her even though she hates licks. I survive off of disability. I have lots of medical problems and trying to raise a kid off a little income. It would mean the world to my son and I to try to get him hopefully in remission. Or hold on til we cannot. He will have many visits to the vet.
