Mochi

Mochi is a 5 month old Mix-Breed in North las vegas, NV, who needs $3,000 for Fracture Repair, Right Hind Leg CRIF.

North las vegas, NV

Mochi came into our family as a 4 week old kitten. Her original family had no space for her and she was happily adopted. She loves her new home and made herself at home within just a few days. Happily zooming through the upstairs and downstairs tackling her new older sister cat Sammy. Mochi loves cuddles and climbing up your pant leg to pirch on your shoulder. A full time biscuit making machine! Being curious kitten, she attempted to leap onto to second floor banister and instead cleared the banister completely. She fell straight down to the first floor and fractured her back right femur. Within the 30min she was having x-rays at Ann Roads Animal Hospital in Las Vegas. The fracture clear. Her new Vet explained 2 options being Surgery to fix her leg or to remove it. She is the happiest, cuddliest, sweetest, and most curious kitten we have every had the blessing of having. Mochi loves to play with her Shiny fish on a string and would play until she can no longer stand, then play some more. As well as making biscuits on every surface she can. Too kind to harm even a fly despite her loving bite her toy fish. The sudden accident has left us in a bit of tailspin with our finances. Sending our oldest to college and regular life has left us tight. We want Mochi to have the best life possible. My guilt of not being able to do the most for her is crushing my wife and I.

Bella

Bella is a 4 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Arverne, NY, who needs $3,970 for Mammary Tumor Removal.

Arverne, NY

Bella came into my life during a very difficult period, and she has been a source of safety, comfort, and emotional support for my children and me as a domestic violence survivor. For the past four years, she has been deeply bonded to our family, especially my kids. Bella is gentle, loyal, and protective, and she has helped bring stability and healing into our home. Bella was recently diagnosed with a large mammary gland tumor that requires urgent surgical removal to prevent further spread. Diagnostic exams, bloodwork, and X-rays have already been completed, and surgery has been strongly recommended. Her care is being provided by Queens Low Cost Veterinary Center in Astoria, NY. As a domestic violence survivor working to rebuild stability while in school. Bella is loving, sweet and usually full of energy, especially with my children. She has been a steady source of comfort during our healing journey and throughout my efforts to improve our future through education. Seeing her now in pain and without her usual energy is devastating. Bella has helped my family feel love while my Mom and sister passed away. I'm advocating for my good girl. As a domestic violence survivor, I am rebuilding stability for my children while attending school to earn my bachelor’s degree. Bella’s medical emergency came suddenly, and I do not have the financial ability to cover the full cost of her surgery on my own.

Pumpkin

Pumpkin is a 12.5 year old Mix-Breed in Marietta, GA, who needs $3,600 for Emergency Care and Ultrasound Guided Biopsy.

Marietta, GA

Pumpkin came into my life unexpectedly in 2013 when we met at Atlanta Pride. He and his litter had been saved from a storm drain, and he was the first of them to be cleared of heartworms and ready for adoption. The moment I first held him, he fell asleep in my arms, and I knew he was mine. He lives with me, my wife, & our best friend along with 3 other cats and one ferret who is on palliative care Pumpkin developed sudden weight loss, lethargy, and loss of appetite and an ultrasound confirmed stomach cancer. He was referred to BluePearl Animal Hospital for oncology care, with an ultrasound-guided biopsy scheduled for 2/5/25, and required an emergency visit on 1/31 for acute symptoms. Once his type of cancer is confirmed (they think lymphoma) he will need chemotherapy. Pumpkin is a deeply loved member of our family and has an incredibly strong bond with us. He experiences separation anxiety when we are away and thrives on closeness and routine. Every night, he sleeps on his own special pillow on our bed and loves to cuddle with us under the blankets, finding comfort in being near us. He is a constant source of love, compassion, and mischief in our home. Pumpkin has pet insurance, but it won’t cover everything and it also takes time to be approved for reimbursement. We have limited funds to pay for his treatment to the vet upfront, and his unexpected emergency visit has cost $1700, leaving us $700 short for his biopsy.
