12 years ago, we fell in love with a waggly, hyper, sweet little pittie from the local shelter who had been there for months. She had given herself a bloody tail from her costant wagging! We bonded immediately and she's been our best girl ever since. Along the way, she's gotten two doggie brothers who she loves to cuddle and wrestle with, and at 13, she still loves her daily walkies. Freya was diagnosed with two cracked molars at Evergreen Vet and has to have them both removed. They're causing her some pain and she's only able to chew on one side, which has caused her to eat less and lose weight. We need to do the surgery asap. Freya is the most special girl. Everyone, literally EVERYONE, who meets her adores her. She has so much love for everyone - we joke how even the postman is her best friend. She is my daughter's soul dog, and she is the center of our home. Everything revolves around Miss Freya Girl. We would do anything for her. We have had a bunch of major expenses right in a row, including having to get raccoons removed from inside our porch roof, and a new gate for our backyard. We've also had other major vet expenses, such as a UTI and a skin infection. We have depleted our savings.

This cute blonde and white, 5yr old Rat Terrier and Chihuahua mix, is SNOWFLAKE. She is a rescue pet that we adopted from the Dallas Animal shelter in 2019. She came from an abusive home and has nervous issues and anxiety attacks with loud noises and storms. She lives with my 11yr old daughter and myself. We love on her daily to reassure her she is loved and in a safe place. Snowflake's eye condition started in 2024. She was seen by the Community Outreach Pet Clinic in Lewisville Tx. They did dye test and x-ray of the eye. They thought allergies at first but problem stayed and more swelling occurred. Current diagnosis is eye lid cyst that will need to be removed surgically and biopsy for further analysis. Snowflake is a VERY chill and laid back dog. She loves attention from everyone especially kids. She is a lap baby and craves affection and SNACKS! She does have some anxiety issues when loud noises occur, or when its storming outside. During those times she stays under someone until the coast is clear and we reassure her she is ok. I am a single mother of an 11yr old child and currently don't have the resources to pay for the procedure needed. My company has cut back due to financial difficulties and my work hours have been affected. Any help to get this surgery done is appreciated and a blessing!

Jobi came to us as a gift from my ex-husband to the kids on Valentine’s Day 2020. We named her Jobi because, at the time, we were studying the Book of Job as a family. Less than six months later, our lives were completely upended due to my ex-husband’s terrible actions, which led to his imprisonment. Through the transition Jobi provided emotional support and care for me and my kids. obi had no medical issues until March 7, when we left home for two hours and returned to find her unable to move her hind legs. We rushed her to the emergency vet, where X-rays, lab work, and an exam revealed no clear cause. The vet suspected a spinal or nerve issue and recommended an MRI—which is costly—and possibly surgery. She’s now on crate rest with steroids, but we are desperate for answers. Jobi has an incredible bond with my children, from singing “Happy Birthday” to them to waking them up each morning with our special “Time for School” song. She is especially close to my daughter, who adores animals and dreams of becoming a vet. Losing our 15yo Lab/Dane, Dudley, last month was heartbreaking, and now facing Jobi’s health struggles makes this even more devastating for our family. As a single mother, surviving only on a teacher salary and no additional income, my finances are stretched thin. Thorax A foreign body, which appears to be composed of both mineralized and soft tissue opacity, is located in the cranial portion of the thoracic esophagus. There is also a moderate, diffuse distention of the intra-thoracic esophagus. She is fiesty. She’s a handful. She’s loved. Playful. She tips over her water bowl every day sometimes twice a day on purpose no doubt. lol she’s my light Sudden emergency expense. She’s my everything. Our family is a long time lover of Rottweilers. We got Luna in 2018 from a reputable breeder and also adopted a rescue name Loki that was found in dumpster in Puerto Rico. We have always been a two dog family and Luna and Loki are true companions. Our family has always had dogs and we have been lucky enough to have them live to old age. We have two children ages 14 and 12. Luna was diagnosed with bilateral CCL ruptures with meniscal tear in one (same as ACL tear in humans). Luna will need surgery ($6,000) for the right leg as soon as possible to repair the rupture and meniscal tear. She is in pain, even with meds and we use a carrier for her to help her mobility and for stairs (we live in a raised ranch). Luna is an absolute sweetheart. She is big, lovable and always looking for attention from both our family and anyone that comes to our house! She loves to play with our other dog Loki and go on walks with our family. Sara lost her job recently and is looking for a full time position in Marketing. Chris owns an underground dog fence company that has been severely affected by our economy. This is a seasonal business that in the last two years, no savings have been possible.

Coco was given to us by an individual who was on the streets and asked us to care for him. Coco has gotten his first parvo shot since being with us. Unfortunately he still got parvo. We cannot afford the Vet bill and have tried other means to get his treatment paid for. We would greatly appreciate any help to have him treated properly so that he may have a chance at surviving. Thank you. Bakersfield Animal Hospital has provided us resources to get vouchers to help pay for his medical needs. We took Coco to the animal shelter in desperation and they provided some fluids to him for a few hours. Coco was given to us shortly after having 3 back yo back losses in our family. It was interesting since Coco has one green eye and one blue eye, myth says dogs with two different color eyes can see heaven and earth at the same time. We are on a fixed income and cannot afford his vet treatment as we have children to provide for also. Coco is such a sweet dog and brings the family so much joy.

Blue came into our lives 3 years ago when a friend called and asked if we could come get puppies out from under her trailer. After pulling out 5 other puppies we found blue and fell in love with him instantly. He was so little with glass blue eyes and silver fur. We asked our friend when she thought they might have been born and figured back to April 3rd. Which is also my husband's birthday Blue was playing with the other dogs in the area just like he does everyday. I hollered for Blue to come home. It took him a little longer than it usually did. When he got inside we noticed that he had blood coming from the backside of him & down his legs. I was in shock to discovered somebody has shot him and hit him in his back upper left leg. To make matters worse, the bullet is still inside. Blue has a personality unlike any other dog I've known. There are times I forget he's a dog as he acts more like one of the kids. Always such a happy dog but will pout if he doesn't get to ride in the car or thinks he didn't get something when I go to the store. No matter what type of day your having it's always better when you walk thru the door from the excitement and affection blue shows you. I have pulled every penny we have but still are no where close to being able to have the bullet removed before it sets up lead poisoning & kills him. My heart is breaking to think I may lose him. He is such a good dog who didn't deserve this. Feeling lost & helpless.

I fostered Willy from Dallas animal services. After fostering him for several months I came to love him because he is such a sweet natured, loving & obedient dog. He's also SO beautiful & handsome too. I couldn't believe anyone wouldn't want this wonderful boy so I adopted him. I only have my disability)SSI, & until this medical situation came up we were ok. But now I really need help. Between the vet's charity program, the SPCA, my check, & friend's help, Willy has now had his surgery. But I still need $240 for his pathology exam from the surgery & only have till Thurs this week for it to be done. Otherwise I won't know what these masses were I love him so much & he's so young. He deserves a chance to be treated for whatever caused these masses. I'm scared because my heart will be completely broken if I can't get him the help he needs, I don't think I can live without him(can't stand idea of losing or giving him up just so he can get medical care). But he deserves better than this. He's my emotional support animal. IDK what to do. I live off of SSDI and SSI. I just really don't think I can handle him not getting medical care because of my lack of finances for esp because this is not a usual medical problem in such a young dog.
