I got Kona a few years ago- he’s my ESA (emotional support animal). He helps get me out of a depression at the time - getting me walking many times a day. He’s very silly, and loves to tug. He will play fetch but will not return the ball. He sleeps with me at night sometimes when I’m having nightmares. Kona is currently at Austin Emergency Services hospital. We are thinking he may have a blockage as he has been having vomiting episodes for the last week and a half. I am waiting right now to hear back from the doctor. Kona loves walks. He loves people, and dogs. He sometimes talks- like a husky. He takes lots of naps. But when he is excited he has tons of energy. Sometimes him and my kids run back and forth in the house as they giggle. He slides on the laminate floors. My husband likes to “fluff” him down every night. it’s been a tough year with medical needs for every family member. We are deep in medical bills…and there isn’t really a ned in sight in the moment. My needs are complex - with chronic illness. My husband was just diagnosed with chronic illness and boys have belly problems

Bella and I have been together for over 8 years. She's more than just my ESO, she's my baby. I am in the middle of a heartbreaking divorce and she's my best friend right now. I need to get her healthy and pain free. Bella was diagnosed with hip dysplasia at about 2 years old. She has been on joint and pain supplements since. Her back legs gave out while walking on December 31 of this year. I took her to the vet and was told her hip dysplasia was worse as well as her arthritis. Her right joint was not clicking in her hip. Her leg dangles because it has nowhere to go. I need to get FHO so she's pain free Bella is extremely special. She has never met a person or animal that doesn't love her and she loves them right back. She gets really excited and starts jumping when she sees her friends. 😀 I'm disabled and going through a heartbreaking divorce. I left our house to the abuse. I'm on an extremely limited income. Bella is my ESO and my baby. I really need to help her feel better.

Ok so this is a pretty unique situation I believe. Mochi is a 4 month old Italian Greyhound and she was in a tough situation where she was crated most of the day and so I agreed to foster her until we could find her a proper home. I have 3 dogs and have fostered dogs before so I was happy to have her and as soon as I spent time with her I could tell she was my kinda dog, very sweet and smart. So within 2 hours of being at my home she excitedly jumped off a couch and broke one of front legs. It wasn’t an exceptionally high couch and my other dogs jump off it all the time but I guess her little puppy bones couldn’t handle it. Italian Greys are particularly subject to this issue unfortunately. Unfortunately it was a distal radius/ulna fracture which cannot be healed by splitting. She is handling the injury like a trooper and she is really a special dog. Mochi is smart and sweet and being so brave throughout the whole process so far. I love her already and just want what’s best for her. So bottom line is she needs a very expensive surgery and this hits at a terrible time for me financially. This is just a bad luck and bad timing situation where I went from trying to do her a favor by fostering her and all of a sudden she needs a $3000 surgery to get better.

Alden

Alden is a 9 year old Miniature Schnauzer in Daly City, CA, who needs $2,000 for Dental Surgery for Stage 4 Periodontal Disease.

Alden and his adoptive brother, Bentley, originally belonged to relatives who were not taking good care of them. When the pandemic hit in 2020, I began looking after them when I realized they needed to be better cared for. I did my best to get them back to good health but I believe the years of neglect already did damage. After taking Alden to the vet for a sudden nose bleed, I learned he has a heart murmur and stage 4 periodontal disease. The vet said he needs dental surgery. The estimate they gave was $6000. His gums have become very inflamed and he's having a hard time sleeping, so he's always licking a blanket to soothe himself. Vets in Vans said they would do it for half the cost which I'm grateful for. Alden is a small dog with a big personality. He's really scared around strangers at first but he's the sweetest dog when he knows you. He loves to cuddle and would get belly rubs every second of every day if he could. He loves car rides, adventures, and playing tag. Even though he's 9 years old, he still acts like a baby and just wants to be loved as much as he gives love. I want to get Alden the medical care he needs so I can stop his pain and give him a chance for a longer life. I can't afford his surgery as I'm currently trying to get back on my feet. I'd really appreciate any contribution for him. My dogs are all I have. Thank you.

Hello, I've has Daisy Mae 10 years 8 months 27 days, she was my 1st dog, I got her for my kids, unfortunately 1 has passed, I'm on disability and we have been through everything together. I don't know what I'd do without her. My dog is really sick, I finally got to take her to Angel of Assisi and she has e foreign objects needing to be removed asap. Grateful my son com up w $$ for visit today. She has fever, wbc elevated, and won't stop shaking. She Def has anxiety but is well loved and loves everyone that she knows, otherwise she'll definitely bark your head off. She usually walks around with her toy 24/7. I'm on disability and try working pt however I have another surgery needed along with having car issues so things are extremely tight. Since the loss of my son I can't get caught up, trying to grieve and get my medical issues taking care of

Maggie May is my heart. I fell in love with her soulful eyes while looking at photos of senior dogs on a local rescue site. I knew we were meant to be and Maggie was mine from the moment we met at the shelter. After adopting her that day, she came home with me and it felt as though she had always lived here. She's my one and only, so the thought of possibly losing her is killing me. Maggie is normally playful and silly. However, lately she has been lethargic and off her game, and has put on some weight. A visit to her vet, Dr. Hubbard at Critter Care, showed that, rather than just gaining weight, Mags actually has a grossly enlarged pancreas and is in need of surgery very soon. Yet my girl has been so strong, not exhibiting any sign of the pain she must be in. Maggie has the cutest personality! She greets me at the door with a full-body tail wag and a wrinkled-nose grin. She's very verbal and sassy... such a southern belle! Her toys are lined up neatly in her "fort" (under the dining table) and her Thunder Shirt is always ready for the slightest rain. She's a fraidy cat and big snuggler. Affectionate and loving, playful and funny, that's my sweet Mags! I am disabled and live on an extremely limited income. As such, paying for Maggie's surgery is out of my reach. However, I cannot imagine my home without my funny, sassy, happy girl in it. It would mean the world to me to have my girl happy and healthy again.

Skye rescued my Daughter & I. Skye was as puppy that needed a home. Not long before Skye rescued us, my Daughter's childhood dog, a sable & white Pembroke Welsh Corgi, had to be put to sleep, after several years battling a seizure disorder. When we saw the tiny chocolate fur baby in need of a home, we knew she needed us, too. A few years ago, Skye was diagnosed with Pancreatitis. We buy her the prescription dog food, recommended by Skye's Vet. For the past 3 years, full blood workups are done, but each time, Skye's #'s are going up, rather than down. Skye needs another blood panel, & possibly an Ultrasound, if the #'s are still high. Skye's Vet is Greenback Hazel Veterinary Hospital in Orangevale, CA. To understand why Skye, (aka "Brownie Bite"), is so special, you have to meet her, pet her, & see how popular she is, with everyone she meets!! When shopping, it is a daily, "Hi Skye!", where staff at every store, come running to say hello, & shower Skye with love! She provides comfort & love to all, & is so dang cute, she melts everyone's hearts! She is also a great watch dog! We are grateful for help with Skye's 2025 blood work, & Ultrasound. I am a low-income Special Ed Para Educator, & also work a 2nd Job at a Pet Store to help with the cost of her Prescription food. With Skye's additional Prescriptions, it is a struggle but Skye needs help.

Stella is my baby. We lost her Dad in July of last year and she has been my ride or die. We have been through so much together. She has so much love left. I can’t lose her❤️. THANK YOU FOR READING! 🫶🏽 She is needing emergency surgery to remove bladder stones and treat a kidney infection. She is running fever and is being given medication to help her start feeling better. She is at Lowell Vet Center in Lowell, AR. She’s everyone’s favorite! We lost her Dad last year and she has been by my side for all the hard times. We’ve been through a lot and I cannot live without her. Again, I lost my husband last year and him being a disabled Veteran, he was our main income. I was left with my small job income and yet the same bills, rent, etc. it’s been tough.
