Prior to this sudden and heartless crime, Teddy was a very healthy and full of life one year old cockerspaniel. He is endlessly adored by not only his two dog parents, but our 3 children as well. We went into the new year with 2 very healthy and full of life dogs occupying our home, Charlie Finn and Teddy Mac. Due to one very harmful individual, we are doing everything we can to ensure our home remains filled with the endless love and laughter Teddy brings. Our two beloved dogs were poisoned, Teddy still has a fighting chance. He is receiving care at Madison Veterinary Specialists. As soon as you enter our home the giggles of our three children will fill your ears, and Teddy is always front row and center to all of the action. If he is not inside chasing toys or children, he is outside hopping through the snow, leaves, or mud with his tongue flying beside him. After pouring thousands of dollars into extraordinary measures to save Charlie’s life, we are not capable of providing the entirety of Teddy’s care needed to save his life. We have only had the chance to adore Teddy for 1 year, he deserves more time. We need more time.

Goose

After loosing my rory girl (chocolate lab/boarder collie mix) from a brutal attack by a mtn lion, I was determined to find a chocolate lab puppy that needed a home. After searching for months, I finally found goose. He was posted on Craigslist for free by the breeder because he has a disease called megaesophagus. He was very malnourished when I got him and was in desperate need of help/love. Dealing with megaesophagus can be challenging, but if you set up the right meal plan and feeding schedule it's something that can be managed with alot of patience and time. What the breeder didn't know/or tell me, is that goose has PRAA and surgery is the only option to remove the constricting ring around the esophagus. Finding a local vet that can perform this surgery has been extremely hard. Goose has been an absolute trooper through everything. He has the sweetest and kindest little soul and he deserves a chance at life. There's so many things I want to do with him and teach him, but unfortunately our days are spent 100% inside with little activity. He is incredibly smart and so loyal. If he makes it through all of this I plan on training him to be a therapy dog. Financially, I'm able to pay all the bills to manage megaesophagus. But to get surgery to fix PRAA I'd have to pay thousands of dollars. I work full time and going to school full time.Having to pay for $3,000-$6,000 surgery was not in my financial budget.

Sarah and Athena have been unhoused and living in a tent, but they have now been approved for housing and will have a place to call their own within the next week! Athena got hit by a car in a scary incident and her front left elbow is broken, requiring amputation. Sarah would give her own leg to help Athena if she could. She’s worked nonstop since the incident and has raised $3300 of the $4000 needed for the surgery. She has a commitment from a veterinarian to do the surgery for a discounted rate and just needs a bit more help to get the surgery next week! Athena is the world to her Mama. Sarah tragically lost her family and then her home. Athena is her only family, her heart, her soul and her reason to keep going through unimaginable hardship. They are inseparable—a dynamic duo that makes your heart soar when you see their bond! Athena is a precious, smart little lady who loves everyone she meets, and everyone adores her. Sarah lost her job and has been unhoused, but they have finally gotten approved for the housing they have been hoping for! Their life together is blooming, now Athena just needs to be on the mend. She’s the best thing to happen to Sarah, her love, her whole world.

My pup absolutely loves snow. His favorite person is my daughter those 2 are attached at the hip when she is home from school. He loves toys and bones to play with. My husband recently just started a new job. he was out of a job for a few months and now we are trying to catch up on bills and now we need to take coco out dog to the vet. Hello my name is Jaxxin Ray I'm 2 years old and just recently my knee cap popped out of socket, we need help raising $1900 for my surgery. We just moved here and are trying to get our own place and our head back on our shoulders and then this happened anything helps. We are appreciative of anything sent our way. His knee cap popped out of socket and they say it's only a matter of time before his next one will if we can't get this one fixed. I took him to Black canyon veterinary clinic and he needs to have surgery and that's going to run me about $1900. I'm not able to have babies so this is my baby and I'm doing everything in my power filling out grants asking anybody to help me I'm currently by myself trying to raise this money and I will do whatever it takes He is my baby we moved here a few months ago and since then I have been working trying to find us a place and this last Saturday his knee cap popped out and I've been up day and night with him trying to figure this out but I'm losing this battle cause no one will help.

I raised Ollie from a 4 week old puppy. He’s my service dog a truly a special boy. He lights up a room whenever he is in it and he has such a huge personality. Ollie is my best friend and has saved my life more than I can count. My boy is so smart and sweet and loves everyone and all he wants is to cuddle and be with the people he loves. He’s more of a lover and it saddens me that he’s not himself Ollie has an obstruction in his intestines. He started to refuse his food and not act like himself. This dog is highly food motivated for him to deny his food I knew something was up. He’s been in his favorite spot for the past few days and he needs surgery if he cannot pass this obstruction. We don’t know how he got this obstruction but we need help to get the surgery so he can recover. Ollie loves everyone. He loves treats and butt scratches. He is normally wanting to lay on me and listen to his unborn sibling growing in me. He’s a big mommas boy but tolerates the spare human. He’s cares deeply and will protect us and make sure we are good before he is. He is a selfless animal and you can just see how much love he has to give behind those eyes. He has so much personality This is currently a single income household. I am the only one paying for things right now while my boyfriend finds a job. I’ve been barely holding it together because I’ve been sick myself and missing work. We’ve been behind on bills and this is just the icing on the cake

Nutmeg was a rescue about 6 years ago. We were looking for a helper dog to aid in my son's severe PTSD from going to war with his fellow Marines. His son was born, diagnosed with non verbal/limited verbal autism and as he grew we needed a helper dog to alert us when my grandson would go outside. He was an eloper, loved to run and explore. Meg has been a perfect companion and helper with family We are kindly asking for help to pay for the cost of a leg surgery, so that Meg may run and continue to help the family. She is in pain and does have swelling of her left rear leg due to a ACL tear. We have tried therapy, splints etc, unfortunately she is an active dog and none of those worked. The vet has let us know surgery is her best and really only option now. Nutmeg is a calm and very loving dog, she loves snuggles and pets and to play fetch. She loves pleasing her owners and family. She is great with kids, other animals and again is so smart and knows the things to alert us to. Just her presence helps with the PTSD and the anxiety attacks that both dad and son have. The owner is a disabled veteran, and is on a limited income. He has been unable to work for years due to a brain impact event while in Iraq. Daisy

I didn't expect that - my family brought some donations to the Animal Welfare Association in Voorhees, NJ. My son met Daisy first, in her little pen. We already had a dog. We had two cats. We had a rabbit...and three chickens. "NO no no," I said. Then Daisy came over to the doorway of her pen and just looked at me - like what you see in that first picture. I was all in from there. I didn't expect this, too - Daisy started slowing down in the summer. Didn't want to walk anymore. The vet said it was a tumor pressing on her spine. So we operated, and she recovered within two weeks, running again. Three months later the doctor said it's come back again. Worse - like cancer on steroids. Daisy needs a second surgery and radiation treatment this time. If Daisy wasn't a dog, she'd be a center fielder. She is stellar at catching her ball and bringing whatever you toss back. She loves everyone too - for a Shepherd/Collie super mutt, she's got a lot of personalities in her DNA, but at the center of it all is love. She loves everyone and everything. She is an expert hugger, teaches her dog pack to behave when they're wild, and loves ice cream. We've invested about $13,000 in Daisy's care already. We are proud of that because we could. Now though, it's getting tight. And we're humbly asking for any amount to give to the vets who are helping give Daisy a full recovery from cancer.

Boone

Boone is a 12 year old Australian Cattle Dog in Taylorsville, GA, who needs $2,000 for Broken Femur Repair.

Boone is an Australian Blue Heeler that has been in our lives for 12 years now and is the best boy we could ask for. He lives for chasing cows and riding shotgun on the side-by-side to check out the farmland and enjoy the country air. He has a 7 year old Australian Shepherd brother that likes to play with him and keep him young. Boone lost his hearing this last year and unfortunately is not able to hear cars start. This was sadly what led to him being backed over that resulted in a completely broken femur bone. The recovery process for our sweet boy has been a long one and after the multiple vet trips to try and surgically fix his leg, it has unfortunately rebroken this past week and we are devastated. We believe Boone has a few more years left with us on this earth as he is still full of life and wags his tail when he sees us even with a broken leg. He still wants to run around with his buddy and ride around in the pasture with us and the last thing we want is to have to put our buddy down. After spending thousands already to try and heal Boone’s leg with surgery and learning that the leg has been rebroken has left us feeling lost and unsure what to do from here. We do not have the finances to continue extensive treatment & could use all the support we can get.
