Gen Gen

Gen Gen is a 10 year old Australian Shepherd in Columbia, SC, who needs $2,000 for Lap Liver Biopsy, Hospitalization, Meds, and Anesthesia.

Columbia, SC

Our baby came into our life at seven weeks old. We live in South Carolina. It’s my husband and I. Gen Gen is our only baby. She is the smartest dog. She has a very wide vocabulary. Sometimes we have to spell around her. when we’re on the phone you can tell she’s sometimes listening to the conversation and knows when we’re talking about her, she loves car rides, and she loves traveling. Gen Gen has been healthy until about 3 months ago. She went to the vet for her semi annual appointment. She has not been right since that day in Oct her urine has turned brown and her liver test have been coming back terrible. She was ref from the vet to an emergency room. They wanted to keep her impatient, but the cost would have been around $8000, we chose outpt treatment which has not helped. She is the light of our life. My husband is a disabled veteran. Everybody is concerned about what would happen to him if something ever happened to Gen Gen. We are senior citizens and she picks up if we are not feeling well that day. She is so smart. She rings a bell. If there is something she wants, we have a bell hanging on the door knob. We are on a fixed income. It would mean the world to us to have her healthy again. She had a ultrasound and does not have a tumor. She has either a bad infection or serious inflammation. Treatment could run up to $5000.

Millie

Millie is a 4 year old Labrador Retriever in Burlington , KY, who needs $2,000 for Surgery for Fragmented Coronoid Process.

Burlington, KY

Millie came into my life at 8 weeks old when I truly needed her the most. I was in college and really needed the emotional support due to other situations going on. Adopting Millie healed me in ways I can’t put into words and I would do it 100 times again. She is so loving and sweet everyone especially her human siblings and her cat sisters. She senses when someone is upset and comforts them. Millie will be getting surgery at MedVet Cincinnati. She has a Fragmented Coronoid Process and is in chronic pain. She can’t extend her elbow and has a significant head bob. She was completely fine one day and within 3 weeks, she could barely walk, could no longer go upstairs, and was barely eating or drinking. She is very sad due to no longer being able to play and do the things she loves. Millie is truly the best dog we could ever ask for. She is the most well behaved dog I’ve ever seen and has been since I brought her home. From day one she has not needed to be on a leash because she has never wanted to be out of my eyesight. She is very protective over her human siblings and so gentle with her brother who loves to play with her and feed her. Millie’s diagnoses was extremely sudden and unexpected. She was her normal playful self one day and then within a week she could no longer bear weight on her leg. It took multiple vet visits and a lot of money spent before we were able to determine her diagnosis.

Juno

Juno is a 6 year old Border Collie in Hill City, SD, SD, who needs $2,000 for Canine CT Scan.

Hill City, SD, SD

In the spring of 2019 I was looking for an adult dog to bring into my life. A picture of Juno online sparked my interest and I brought her home that week. Since then, she has been my ride or die, the best dog anyone could ever ask for, and the absolute joy of our everyday lives. Juno loves exploring, playing, hiking and swimming. On January 4th, Juno went outside before bed like she always does, when she was ready to come inside we realized she no longer had use of her right back leg. A trip to the emergency vet determined that she most likely suffered either a spinal cord injury or a Fibrocartilaginous embolism. A CT scan at All Creatures Vet clinic would be the next step to determine what’s next for Juno’s care/recovery. Juno is the best! She’s hilarious, and so loving! She lives for the time she gets to spend outside AND the snuggles and kisses she gets before bed. She keeps us laughing nonstop with her antics and has provided so much comfort to us during the last several years. Several years ago, Juno was hit by a car, and made it through severe trauma with flying colors! This girl loves life and is determined! Juno’s injury and the unexpected costs that come with it have broken our hearts. She still has so much life left in her and we want to give her the best possible care that we can. Seeing Juno begin to recover would mean the world.
