Hailey is an itty bitty senior Chihuahua who was found stray. It's hard to imagine...but it's true! When she was picked up by animal control, off she went to the shelter. Hailey is a super lovable and grateful little foster girl. She will shower you with kisses (and despite her wretched breath)...she is impossible to resist! Don't worry...a full dental with extractions is also part of her upcoming surgery date! Food, kisses and snuggles are probably a tied when it comes to her favorite things in life! Hailey makes us laugh because among all the other dogs in her foster home...she is MUCH MUCH smaller! But she walks along side the biggest of dogs, isn't the least bit shy and will cuddle up with all the pit bulls in her foster home without a second thought of the size difference. She is no princess and is just grateful to be off the streets and safe. Hailey was pulled from the shelter by Murphy's Paw Rescue and was placed into a loving foster home. As we started the vetting process of exams, bloodwork, vaccines etc...a mammary mass was found as well as the fact that she has a low grade heart murmur. Also, her teeth are in dire need of cleaning and extractions which is important to her heart health. Hailey is safe in foster and has started the pre-surgical labs to prepare for her upcoming surgery on March 28th. In addition to bloodwork, mammary mass removals, dental and pathology is estimated to cost between $1,300-$1,800.

Gracie

Gracie is a 15 year old Dachshund in Las vegas, NV, who needs $2,000 for Physical Therapy and Chemotherapy.

Gracie was a blessing in disguise. Little did I know I need her as much as she needed me. My daughter said the fluffy one that looked like a teddy bear was the one. Gracie went home with us her new mom and dad. She went everywhere with us. If she couldn’t go in somewhere I waited in the truck with her. We had daily talks about everything. She became my most important little person. Dr Nick took some x-rays. Sent them stat to a radiologist to read. Both Dr Nick and the radiologist agreed on the x-rays and said my Gracie girl needed to see a specialist. Dr Nick sent Gracie and I to Las Vegas Veterinary Specialty Center. I went to the specialty. That’s when I found out Gracie had bone cancer and her hind leg needed to be amputated followed by chemotherapy. She loves to play games her favorite is to get me to follow her around in chase. At nap times she likes to burrow herself into the blankets but her favorite spot is at the top of my head in my pillow. She has had two sister kitties she adores and loves playing with and antagonizing. She loves to play games her favorite is to get me to follow her around in chase. She sleeps right above my head. I said as soon as I got the money I would call but instead I I sold something things took the money down and paid her surgery deposit. She will need physical therapy and chemo.

I took Bella from my daughter's house when she was a pup She was not safe there so I've had her for 10 yrs. She's been a healthy baby until now. She was recently diagnosed with Cancer and it is growing by the day. I am heart broken seeing her going through all that pain. I am asking for help paying her $3700 vet bill. The surgery will be to remove the cancer and get spayed at the same time. She will be getting the surgery done at Barton' Heights Veterinay hospital My Bella is a loveable cuddler. She's had 2 pregnancies so I stayed with one of her daughters They are always together playing,running around, letting us know when there are people around our premises. She spends most of her time with my son and then comes to cuddle with me. She is such a big part of our lives. I recently lost my husband so I cannot even process the thought of losing her as well I am a low income disabled mom. So I do not have the finances to save my baby. I adopted Lina during COVID after a chance shelter visit—it felt meant to be. She was shy but curled into my lap within minutes, and I knew she was mine. I’ve had her 7 years, and she’s my soul dog. She’s grown so much from her timid beginnings and is now incredibly loving, loyal, and never leaves my side. Her name was originally Dina but Lina was more fitting ❤️ About two years ago, Lina had a panic episode and tried to escape, breaking a canine that cost $1,500 to remove. It was scary, but I did everything I could for her. I crate trained her for safety, and she’s been okay—until yesterday. She panicked again and broke another canine, the hardest tooth to remove. You can see the severity in the attached video. She needs urgent surgery, and I need help. Even after all these years, Lina greets me like it’s the best moment of her life—whether I’ve been gone 5 minutes or 4 hours. She’s so vocal, happy, and full of love. I’ve been through so much, and she’s been by my side through it all—even when I almost lost my life. I truly don’t know what I’d do without her. I love her more than anything. This past year has been really hard—my home was destroyed during Hurricane Helene, I had to move in with my mom, and work in the restaurant industry has been slow. I don’t have anyone to turn to and can’t cover my dog’s surgery on my own.

I have had the pleasure of being Reeses' mom hee entire life. I have had her since the day she was born. I also had her mother. Our bond is inseparable. She is a 14 year old Dachshund Chihuahua mix and the sweetest most spoiled princess. Last year we noticed a lump on Reeses' breast and our vet aspirated it to look at the cells determining it was a type of cancer. Due to her age we decided to monitor the lump as her labs came back normal and she seemed in otherwise good health. The last few months the lump has grown drastically. She still wags her tail and dances when I come home. I just want to provide a better quality of life My family adores Reeses. She is our only dog and the queen of the castle. I have had her my entire life and she is literally at my heels everywhere. Bathroom, laundry room, kitchen. And when it is time to settle for the night she patiently waits for my blanket to be laid on my lap so she can hop up and snuggle for cuddles. I am looking for assistance to remove her lump as we just bought our forever home 2 years ago using most of our savings. She had been abandoned and needed a mama. I knew she was destined to be mine! I fell in love with her right then and forever." But recently, Lucy was diagnosed with lymphoma -- just as Amy's husband battles terminal stage four esophageal cancer. Lucy needs chemotherapy, and the couple is struggling to afford it. Amy's husband even offers to sacrifice his treatment so Lucy can receive hers. "Hope for extending his life now lies with qualifying for cancer trials and traveling for treatment," Amy says. "Lucy's new cancer treatment has left him wanting to receive less so that she may have more." Can you help Amy, her husband, and Lucy this holiday season? Mercury came into my life when she was about 16 weeks old. She was the last of her litter to find a home, and also the runt. I had recently moved back home from across the country and looking for a companion for myself and my kiddos. Our family immediately fell in love with her and she has been the bestest of friends to us ever since. She has made our hearts so full; we’re so lucky to have her!!! Merc (Mercury) normally sleeps in her kennel with her favorite penguin stuffed animal, or in bed with mom and dad! She loves to nap on the couch with her “hey gorgeous” pillow during the day. When she’s not outside playing fetch, she’s inside following her three, 2-legged siblings around! Merc also has two hairless cat siblings, and we can never decide if she’s scared, or disgusted by them😂 One thing that stands out about Mercury is although she may have been the runt of her litter, her heart is SO big! Her favorite way to communicate and show you how happy she is, is by giving you a giant hug. Everyone is always so surprised when she gives hugs but it is always followed by awe’s and laughter. Our gentle fur bestie is overflowing with love. Unfortunately for Mercury, it is believed that she was either poisoned or her intestines have become tangled. This has been an unexpected and expensive journey so far. We are willing to do anything for Merc, even if it means asking for help. Mercury’s first vet trip so far has only provided us with borrowed time on fluids. Our next step is X-rays, then surgery more than likely. This has been completely unexpected for our family. Rent is due and it’s also the holidays. Given the current time of year, it was extremely difficult to even get Mercury in to see an emergency vet. Mercury is part of our family, and we’d do anything to keep her around.

We got litte Pinto from a friend when he was about 3 months old. We were supposed to get another dog but ended up last minute choosing pinto and it was the best decision we have ever made. Grandma picked pintos name as she does with all of our past pets. We have one other outdoor dog, her name is Monchis. Shes a rottweiler and weve had her for probably 6 years and Pinto is 2 years old. Pintos our inside dog since hes really little but he spends a lot of time with monchis in the back and a ton of time exploring. He follows me around everywhere i go and hes the sweetest dog youll ever meet. He loves everyone but he can be shy sometimes. Hes never hurt anybody or anything hes the nicest dog ever. Everybody that has ever interacted with Pinto loves him, and Pinto never forgets any1. Pinto always has the zoomies and is constantly running around. Pinto will try to scare anyone who he thinks is getting too close to me. Hell growl and if they get too close hell put his teeth on them but unfortunately hes too nice to do any harm. Pinto was attacked by a big dog on october 22nd at around 9pm right after we had a party at our house. Pintos right eye was popped out and injured we immediately rushed to a 24 hour VCA Bakersfield animal hospital. The vet looked at pinto and said his eye needed to come out and quoted us $2,000 for the surgery. Were trying to look for cheaper vets but low end is still $1200. Which is unaffordable. We are super tight on money since all of our cars are needing repairs. The cars are almost always in the shop and were pouring a ton of money into them. We really need help with Pinto we love him and cant live without him, he means everything to us.
