Mickey was 1 of 9 pups. Mickey was born deaf, blind in one eye and limited site in the other, along with 2 of his siblings. Mickey needs a second chance. He has learned to overcome his disabilities. He helps bring the bowls to the kitchen sink after they all eat. Mickey will also grab the bag of groceries, bring them in the house and put them by the sink. He loves sleeping in bed and cuddling. Mickey has never had a medical issue until now. I'm not 100% sure what I'm dealing with, but tomorrow's surgery at Rusty Ridge in Minooka, will answer some of those questions. I've had disabled dogs in the past, so it isn't an issue. I need to know what it is, and, if it can be fixed surgically, with meds or something that will take time. My dogs are my family and I'm fully committed to them. Mickey was born with a patch on his hind quarter that resembles Mickey Mouse, and so he was named. Mickey loves long stuffed toys. His favorite is his caterpillar. He loves his head to be scratched and belly rubs. Mickey and sister Minnie both love running in the garden and playing hide and seek from me. He will cuddle up and share my head pillow. And if lucky I will not get pushed off the bed. I am a senior citizen, disabled on a limited income. I keep up with regular vet visits and shots. Please help Mickey. He really deserves it. I just had to put his mama down.

He was abused by somebody and I want to make sure he is ok by a vet. No dog should have to go through that. I just want test run to make sure he is ok He is afraid of thunder he hides under the bed. But he does love treats to like the milk bones and the back strips. He also like someone that's got meat in it. I got laid off from my job because my ex-husband the father and my kids had cancer and I had to take on the kids 24/7 I am currently trying to get some kind of income.

Our little Ozzy was rescued by my brother when someone threw him from a moving vehicle into a water filled ditch tied in a sac. My brother fostered him for 5 months then we drove to Louisiana and brought him to his furever home in Cali. He is a cuddle bug, our living squeaky toy, our ham, and destroyer if all things. He can chase his tail for hours & keeps us laughing. Being the fur baby he is everything goes into his mouth. On Dec 13 wouldn’t stop throwing up and looked miserable. We took him to Pet Emerge in Rancho Cucamonga who took him right away and gave him fluids and comfort. He needs surgery to live and is otherwise very healthy and happy. The surgery is about $4000 and we just buried someone so we can only get together $1000. My heart is breaking Ozzy loves chewing everything into oblivion and stealing mom’s socks which he hides in the holes he digs in the yard. Always so proud of himself for his high pitched squeak and his fist bumps. He prances proudly when he finds his toys and his favorite place is in mom’s shoulder or her chest. He sleeps in my armpit or on my head and thinks at times he is a cat. He is the biggest love bug ever! We just buried my boyfriend’s dad on the same day Ozzy got obstructed and after travel, funeral costs and a very rough year we just aren’t in our normal financial position to save him. On top of it my dad is sick. I’m already looking for a second job to catch up and help.

My best friend Sammy came into my life 6 years ago. I was alone and wanted a companion and a friend's dog had puppies and was rehoming them. The day my life started was the day I got Sammy. Sammy and I have been together since he was 8 weeks old. We are currently homeless because of domestic violence In September of this year I took Sammy to the vet for a wellness check up and found out he has thyroid problems. He's gained 25 pounds and is loosing his fur on his tail, stomach,and bottom. Sammy is such a smart dog and loves to play with his squeaky toys. He loves everyone he's silly and goofy and is constantly making me laugh. He loves to cuddle and give kisses Before Sammy's thyroid was bad he was such an energetic boy we would go on long walks but now he barely wants to go out and he walks so slow. It kills me to see him so slow and having no energy. I miss our daily long walks

In the beginning of the pandemic, we (my other beagle and myself) realized we needed an addition to our life—and that came from a little guy who spent the first year of his life in a cosmetic testing facility. Theo (named for his “teddy bear” quality) immediately became a member of our small family. He brings constant joy and laughter to my life, and it pains me to see him in pain. About a week ago, Theo started limping after a play date with another furry friend. After a few days of no improvement and advice from a friend, I took him to Lakes Animal Clinic where he was diagnosed with a torn ACL. Unfortunately, because of the severity, my little guy needs surgery, and it needs to be soon so that he doesn’t hurt his other leg as he is overcompensating from the injury. Theo is a huge goofball!! He absolutely LOVES flirting with women, and he is VERY talkative and dramatic. He would rather sleep in than get up for breakfast, and his favorite thing to do is to take a nap on my arm (of course, while snoring so loud I can’t hear anything else). He’s super easy-going—our vet says he’s the only patient that gets examined upside down! Of course, Theo’s injury comes at a difficult time for me. I recently accepted a position at a new job, and I gave my previous employer significant notice. However, my previous employer decided on an immediate separation, and I’ll be unemployed for about two months.

Jasmine was previously owned by a family. She had gotten pregnant and the family gave her away on Craigslist to a man who used her only to sell her puppies and abuse her keeping her in a small crate she could hardly stand up in in a fifth wheel trailer. When she arrived at my house she was scared and traumatized. Jasmine has transformed into a sweet, loving dog and gained my trust over the years. Jasmine has been healthy since I've adopted her until around 2 weeks ago she grew a large painful tumor on her back rear leg. Her vets name is Elkhorn Walegra Animal Hospital but I do not have the money to get her to a vet for an exam and diagnosis. I am trying to raise money to get her seen at the vet and then I can apply for assistance at agencies after her initial exam. Jasmine is special in so many ways. She loves grabbing the mail out of my hands as soon as I walk in the door. Jasmine also loves tucking herself into her dog beg every time she's ready for a nap. I am low income and on SSI. DIsabled and receive EBT. I need to raise money for her to see a vet and get medication for the pain she is in due to the large tumor on her leg. Any help will be appreciated at this time.

My precious baby’s name is Roxie. She is a four year old Chorkie. We live in South Georgia in an apartment complex. We found her on Facebook marketplace, and immediately fell in love. We kept the name her previous owner gave her. She is our child, and gets spoiled every day just like she should. She is my angel, and keeps me going. Roxie got sick, and we rushed her to the vet. She was vomiting, and had blood in her stool. Her bloodwork showed she had Hemorrhagic gastroenteritis. The vet highly recommended to hospitalize her for a few days to give her antibiotics intravenously. This particular disorder can be fatal if not treated. Roxie came into my life when I was very clinically depressed. My brother had passed away, and I almost died from Covid one month before I lost him. She keeps me going when I feel like giving up. She is our child, and gets treated that way. She is so funny and playful. She makes us laugh everyday. I couldn’t imagine my life without her. She meets us at the door wagging her tail like crazy. I am disabled and only get enough to pay our expenses to live such a rent and electricity. This is the only income I have. I would give my baby Roxie my kidney if she needed it. I can’t live without her. This is how much she means to me. She’s the reason I want to wake up.

Enoch & I began our journey when he was 8 weeks old. It's crazy thinking back to that day...he was such a little guy compared to the mountain of awesome that he is today! He has been at my side almost 100% of the time ever since, & I feel blessed by every moment spent in his company. The last year has been the most difficult time of my life, & I honestly don't know if I'd have made it without him. Enochs health has always been great, but about a year ago, I noticed his muzzle was swollen & he seemed to be in pain. I brought him in to Access veterinary, & after expertly dealing with 120# of cranky, hurting dude, we decided to put him on antibiotics, which solved the issue...temporarily. A few months later, the problem resurfaced & we opted to put him under for both diagnosis & treatment. As I said before, Enoch & I are inseparable. We have developed an almost symbiotic bond which continues to evolve & strengthen as time passes. He is generally a giant baby who is unaware of his size & still climbs onto my lap for comfort, but his intelligence & intuition also spell protector of anyone of whom he is fond. He's nothing short of amazing & we still both learn from each other every day The year has played out like a country song, tbh. I lost my business, my best friend & roommate, followed by my father & then split with my partner of 10y. To top it off, I was forced out of my home when my roommate passed & have yet to secure permanent residence. bad. year.
