Lila was a "foster fail" 9 years ago when I took her in as a skinny, neglected little 3-month old pup. She was the only foster dog I had who didn't cry on the car ride home and she immediately became a "velcro dog" - always wanting to be by my side. As a half Border Collie, Lila lives to play fetch. She has a hard time knowing her limits and pushed too hard last month, causing her to tear her CCL. My vet at Gunbarrel Veterinary Hospital has recommended rehabilitation efforts such as laser therapy, water therapy and acupuncture, as well as prescription medications and supplements to treat her injury. Lila is the sweetest, most protective girl. She loves hiking, camping, swimming, napping in the sun and of course playing fetch. She is my Emotional Support Animal and is fantastic in this role! Unfortunately, I am not able to afford all of the care Lila needs on my current salary. In order for Lila to live out the rest of her life to fullest, with all of the running and playing she desires, I need financial help to get her there.

Chewy

Chewy is a 11 year old Shih Tzu in Indianapolis, IN, who needs $1,400 for Surgical Dental for 9 Remaining Teeth.

Chewy joined our family after being a stray without anyone claiming him. He had to be shaved because he was so badly matted and unknown breed at the time! He is approximately 11 yes of course old. He has been nuetered. He turns out he is a Shitzu. After being taken to Noah’s All Per he is in need of having g his remaining 9 teeth removed. One is exposing the nerve and four are loose but have not fallen out yet. He has a severe odor in his mouth also needing to be all cleaned too. After his teeth are removed he will have none left and will eat soft food for the rest of his life.He is currently right under ten pounds. Chewy is the sweetest little boy in the world! He fits in so well with our other large breed family member. He’s ten pounds of pure joy and deserves the best of whatever time he has left in his lifetime. He will feel so much better getting his loose and infected bad teeth removed. He loves his new life and he has adjusted quite well! I am currently on disability and the amount is overwhelming right now for me to come up with at the moment. The current estimate is between $ 1004.68-1416.68. To have him healthy means the world to me! He will be spoiled for the rest of his life.

Pavlov

It's just me and Pavlov. My children live nearby but I don't see them every day. Pavlov is my life, my companion, my company, and my best friend. He watches over me, keeps me safe and is my security. With him by my side, I am not afraid to be alone. It's not easy to say that when you reach 77 years of age. One day while sitting in his pet bed, he moved and his back legs collapsed out from under him. He still cannot walk. The doctor went on to explain that Pavlov was born with a birth defect: patellar luxation. His kneecaps are slightly out of place. This caused him to develop back issues like a herniated disc in humans. In dogs it is referred to as Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD). We got Pavlov over 8 years ago. He was so small; he was so nervous; he was covered with fleas. He was small enough to fit in the palm of my hand. We knew right away we would do whatever it took to make sure this boy would grow to be healthy and feel safe and comfortable in this home. He quickly turned into a happy, healthy little spitball, full of energy and love. He was meant to be mine. The vet assured us that the surgery would be simple, but expensive. It requires a $10,000 deposit. I've never asked for help from anyone. Pavlov needs more than I can offer at this time, and while I would never ask for anything for myself, I must ask for help to save him.

Arleigh

Arleigh is a 3 month old Labrador Retriever in New Palestine, IN, who needs $2,000 for MRI.

Arleigh was born in a litter from our male and female Labradors. The litter was not planned, but they are here! All puppies have found loving homes and we felt it best that Arleigh remain with us because she was born with mobility issues, possible spinal compression or intracranial disease. She needs and MRI to fully determine her diagnosis and develop a treatment plan. Arleigh has been to three different vet clinics. At VCA Advanced Vet Care Center, she was preliminarily diagnosed with intracranial disease but an MRI was recommended to fully diagnose her. Without this MRI we don'tt know the best course of treatment for Arleigh. We do know that, while she is small, she is mighty and has not declined. So, the doctors are optimistic she can live a happy life! Arleigh is a fighter. The odds were against her as she could not nurse as well as the others. But she is thriving and she is learning to work with her mobility issues. She is smart and loves to play, EAT, and be outside. She is definitely limited by her odd gate and bunny hopping, but she doesn't let it stop her at all. We love her will to live! In order to properly diagnose her so she can receive a treatment plan (surgery, physical therapy, etc.), Arleigh first needs and MRI. Since she was born this way, there is no insurance coverage and the MRI alone costs $3,100. We need your help!

Van Gogh is a rescued from the streets, former bait dog. Was thrown out like garbage, now She lives with her sister Maui and her mom and dad. She is a happy little thing. Has a good life. She is being treated for Mast Cell Cancer/Tumors. She is being Treated at VCA Morton Arboretum View Animal Hospital. She is currently on Chemo and needs surgery Van Gogh has a sister Maui who needs her to get better. They are best of friends. Van Gogh LOVES car rides and people, she thinks they are all her friends. Even after her obvious treatment by them before she found us, she is a happy girl. We have very limited income, a job loss occurred, and it is not possible to survive on 1 income. With all of this and money being almost nonexistent we are facing this. Van Gogh is our priority, we just need help. Van Gogh deserves to be taken care of. Please help.

Well Penn came into my life about 3 years ago just before Valentine’s Day and a few days before my bday as well. He was giving to me by an ex whom never treated me right besides getting Penn for me.. Penn and I reside in east Harlem. Although we live in a studio,, and things couldn’t have got worse for us. We are now force to move, although it would be for the best so Penn has more room. Despite pen being a healthy 3yo basenji mixed dog im seeking help in getting him the care he needs to rid this papiloma virus he contracted from another dog, this can be easily taken care of by having the surgery he so desperatly need in order for which he could be cured or removed.from his face. After being diagnosed by bond vet on e 62nd st ny,ny. Besides one of my closest friend which Penn is always overly excited when he sees him. Penn is unable to play with other pups because he is contagious and I don’t want him to spread it like how he got it. Reason I’m seeking help is in order to help the cost of the surgery previously quoted for 2500. This could not have come at a worse time as I am now forced to find us a new home. Getting help he deservingly needs. Penn is a happy very friendly and curious pup..

Mac is a 4 year old Rottweiler. He lives with his mom and dad (owners) in a house and spends his days lounging on the couch. Mac’s dad got him before his mom came into the picture but he is his mom’s baby. Mac came home from doggy daycare about a month ago with some mouth pain. After a few days it went away. In the last couple of days the pain has come back severely. He spends most of the day yelping. He will be going to Animal Care Center to see what interventions can be taken. Mac is a spunky wild boy who has a lot of energy. He is skeptical of new people but loves his family hard. He loves treats and getting his monthly bark box. Unfortunately, we have had some high cost bills that have left us unable to save money for these types of unexpected costs. We want nothing more than to help Mac.

Bentley came into our lives unexpectedly as part of an accidental litter. He just turned one on October 25th, While he’s our only pet at home, Bentley has a special bond with his best friend, a Great Dane, at his grandparents’ house, and the two of them are inseparable. As for his name, it came to us randomly one evening. After tossing around different names Bentley just fits him perfectly. Two months ago, Bentley had a seizure while vomiting. He was diagnosed with pneumonia and an esophageal hernia. He healed quickly, but recently had another episode. The doctors say he needs surgery to remove the hernia, or he’ll continue suffering. We’re asking for help to afford the surgery and give Bentley the healthy life he deserves. The surgery would be done at Texas A&M Hospital. Bentley is the sweetest, most loving dog you could ever meet. His favorite thing is cuddling under the blanket, snuggled between your legs. He’s also obsessed with toys, especially his fluffy green dinosaur and any kind of ball. He even loves stealing his grandma’s dryer balls! Bentley’s gentle, playful nature brings so much joy to everyone around him. We’re facing a $6,000 bill to save Bentley’s life, an unexpected and overwhelming expense with no emergency fund. Bentley is our baby, and the thought of life without him is tearing us apart. He means the world to us, and we’re doing everything we can to help him.

My sweet Kealie. She's 3 years and 10 months old. I've had her since 8 weeks. The first dog I've ever gotten from a breeder, my dream fulfilled. She the best, so fun, and sweet, loves kids of all ages tolerates her cat sisters and torments her canine sister. She lives with my husband, three sons and I. She lives her big back yard, her favorite toy is her frisbee. She's my world. About a month ago I noticed she just wasn't herself. Barely playing, and not wanting to spend her days outside. Fort trip to the vet, steroids and antibiotics. 2nd time an overnight stay, more antibiotics and steroids. She's still on them, and has a fever back, and she's very week. Can hardly walk. We have no answers after images and blood work. We can't afford any more, and may put her down. This girl is being raised in a home where I babysit full time, infants and toddlers. She's so good with them, and they love her. We are just absolutely in love with how sweet she is. She loves to snuggle in bed with mom after dad leaves for work, and helps Mom wake her human brothers in the morning. We love her wiggle butt when we come in the door to greet her. We are in a tight spot, after having to replace the engine in my car, which depleted savings, and we are doing out best to put our son through college as well. If I can't pay for more care, we may just have to put her down. She's so very weak.
