We adopted Mocha after our last pet died unexpectantly. My children chose her name. The day we went to pick her up she was the only dog that ran right up to us. We knew she was meant to be a part of our family. Mocha was diagnosed with breast tumors. She currently has 3, but cancer hasn't yet spread to the lungs.She needs surgery to have them removed before it spreads. Mocha has grown with my children and is an important part of our family. She loves cuddling with my youngest child and will cuddle with anyone when they are sick. I have 2 children with medical needs and with the expense of everything right now we just have no way of coming up with the money to help Mocha. Anything you can spare would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there, my little dog Tofu, is a 3 yr old shar pei mix rescue that i found at 2 months old in very bad condition, he has been sick all his life and we have been to every specialist and vet in Arizona. We live in Telluride, Colorado now and 2 days ago he suddenly lost the use of his legs. We are looking for help to get him into recovery. The doctors of the Telluride Animal Hospital think he may have a blood clot, a herniated disc, or something called FCE or potentially something else. We are looking for financial help to get him a MRI as quickly as possible and care if he needs surgery. This is very sudden and I love him so much, I am willing to do anything to help him! If you can help please reach out, he is so special! Tofu is such a sweet gentle little guy. We don't know why he has been so sick, but at one point he lost all his fur and has had several infections including a staph infection but he has recovered from all of that. He is still so sweet and loving considering what he has been through.?he has always had a good life with me but he needs more intensive care. I have taken out multiple loans to afford his care through the years, it pains me that he is still not better and now can't use his legs. I need help getting him an MRI and potentially surgery plus 24 hour recovery care. He is a special guy that I will continue to fight for

Thank You, I rescued Navi from Downey Shelter after my other rescue unexpectedly passed away from being spayed. Navi is a faithful, loving, companion dog that has helped healed my heart and bring my whole family joy. I Thank her often with tears for being my dog. I lost my job because of vehicle breaking down several times and now my Navi needs help. Grateful for any assistance & care. Thank You. Navi needs blood work and urinalysis. And also 2 x-rays. She is urinating in the house a lot which she has never done. She is drinking a lot due to be dehydrated. She whippers here and there. She is not her energetic self, tired a lot, she has thrown up yesterday and once today. I have not been sleeping well and praying I can come up with the funds to help her quickly. She brightens everyone's day with smiles and super active, excited barking and wagging her tail and rear when she sees you and wants you to know how happy she is to be with you. She is faithful dog, always wanted to sleep with me because I rescued her. When the kennel attendant at the Downey shelter put her little shaking, scared, body into my arms, Navi immediately stop shaking & came home w/me. Lost job because of vehicle unexpectedly breaking down, exhausted borrowing money to fix only to lose my job. Child support stop coming in 2 months ago. No other income coming in. Use up all my savings and praying, looking for new job.

Hi everyone! This is duke. Duke is a rescue, I got duke when he was 4 months old. We have been together ever since. Duke was my first big responsibility as i moved out at 17. And took in this big boy. Duke shares an apartment with his brother (cat) Romeo. Duke’s name was picked by me. My two options were duke and Scooby because duke resembles a lot like scooby doo. When i rescued Duke he was very underweight. As he got bigger and getting his weight back be began to have a limp on his back left leg. He went to the vet and i was told it could be growing pains and to massage and exercise it.It continues to get worse we go back and they finally did x-rays.In the c-rays it shows that duke has a broken femur. With how it is broken he will have to have it Amputated My boy is my best friend. Being 18 fresh out into the world. It’s just me and my big boy. Duke is the biggest fan of the river and loves to go swimming. He loves the water hose, and walks to get snow cones. Duke is a big time cuddle bug who takes up the whole bed. He enjoys eggs, and his favorite is cheese. Being 18, starting college and working as a serve. It’s extremely hard to come up with the money for his surgery. All i want is to have a healthy boy who is able to run without any pain. Anything helps and so gratefully appreciated.

King

King is a 6 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Maurice, LA, who needs $1,500 for Cytopoint Injections for the Year, Annual Vaccines, and Neuter.

King was literally sent to me from the Good Lord! King was found dumped by Woodlawn bridge in Maurice La and my neighbor picked him up. My neighbor couldn't keep him permanently so he tied King to a tree. I asked if I could meet king and when I tell you the connection king and I had was at first sight. I decided to adopt king from my neighbor and jing and I would grow old together. King is now a registered service dog, he's my seizure alert dog. King has a horrible skin condition that he has to get Cytopoint shots ever 2 months and bravecto every 3 months. King also needs to be neutered, he needs his pro heart injection for heartworm prevention and his yearly shots Kings vet is: Maurice Veterinary Clinic in Maurice Louisiana King became my seizure alert dog and taught himself. I'm pretty sure it's because we are so connected from the first moment we met. I was able to get him certified as a service dog seizure alert dog through Louisiana K9 Bobby was his trainer. I would not be able to live a normal life without King. I can drive now, go to the grocery store. He alerts me at least 20 minutes before I have a seizure. The reason I am having financial hardship is because I have an inoperable brain tumor and epilepsy. I am now disabled and I only bring in 1285.00 per month from my disability check and my while check goes to bills.

Farfael and I rescued each other 5 1/2 years ago. I am on a limited income and haven’t any money left this month. I cannot afford that cost and such. He is showing signs of ear infections, excessive, licking and chewing his legs. Being trapped in this financial situation is difficult and pains me to ask for help, but I don’t have any other options. I’m praying I will find a way. Thank you. I know he has ear infections and I haven’t way to get him treated. He is also showing signs of excessive chewing on his feet and the licking is nonstop. I know he has cataracts, but that is the least of my worries unfortunately at this time. Farfael loves my oldest daughter. When they play, she makes silly faces Adam and acts like he’s going to attack her. Lol he loves to sit on the balcony and bark at birds, lizards, dogs, and just about anything else that moves. He sleeps on the bed right next to my head and follows me everywhere I go. I wouldn’t have it any other way. Well, as I said before, I am on a limited income and my money is depleted this month. I am on disability and it’s the only financial resource I have and it’s pretty difficult to pay for household essentials let alone my baby’s medical needs.

Our family expanded with May just like a lot of us do when getting a dog. The dad says no and the mom says yes! she is beyond the sweetest girl! My husband and I knew that the day she came into our lives. She is truly a family member at times she forgets she isn’t like one of the kids! She loves to play ball, and is very happy in the car. She lives for her “kids” and that slobbery chuck it ball! May is currently hospitalized at Eastern PA vet medical center She is still undergoing tests but is getting treatment for lyme nephritis, which her vet said they have seen at this stage make a great recovery. The issue is she is also anemic so a further work up is needed. May is the kindest, sweetest girl. She has 3 human kids she loves to play with. She also is my snuggle bug for my anxiety. I am fighting stage 3 cancer and she has been here for me on a few emotional roller coaster through treatments and surgery, but she is always right here by my side! And it’s my time to return the favor! I am currently fighting stage 3 cancer, we are a young family of 5 (6) with May and trying to make ends meet because of loss income from my diagnosis in Jan. 2024

Some backstory, Freyja is a boxer/pit mix who was part of a dumped litter without their mother. She came to me at just 3 weeks old. We have loved each other unconditionally ever since. She’s 3 1/2 years old now and my literal shadow. There isn’t a mean bone in her body she loves everyone and everything. We went to the vet today for routine vaccine updates to get her prepared to be boarded while we are on vacation in October. The vet had a gut feeling about the lump (which I thought was a mole) on Freyjas leg, she wanted it tested to hopefully rule out mast cell. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case. The results were positive. So now we are looking at needing the mass removed Freyja loves everyone, she visits with my elderly neighbor and even has sleepovers. She loves my 2 year old and adores my 14 year old. She is just a bright soul who brings joy to anyone she meets. I’m working full time but I also just made the decision to return to school. Everything is just kind of piling up and to have something happen to my pet I wouldn’t be able to live with myself.

Gemma

Gemma was rescued from a shelter names friends of freddy. She was only 4 months old when I, without a doubt, adopted her. She was the sweetest puppy and instantly rested her head upon my hand and nuzzled her way into my arms. Gemma developed a lump on her lip in April that continued to grow in size. After a few visits with our local vet, her appetite decreased significantly and we decided to have the lump removed and biopsied, which unfortunately came back dirty. She was then diagnosed with t cell lymphoma and given a prognosis of 2 months w/o treatment. We then brought her to an oncologist(VMCLI) for chemotherapy. Gemma is an extremely loving, mindful girl who can always sense when anyone in the family needs a friend, a kiss, or simply some tug of war to get your mind off things. Although not certified, she is the best therapy dog. She loves adventuring and playing with everyone including her pup friends! Her favorite walk is 7 mile trail around a local pond where she gets to see horses and all her friends! Due to Gemma's aggressive diagnosis, she is on an aggressive treatment plan that consists of chemotherapy, steroids, retinoids, liver supplements and several rounds of antibiotics. This treatment plan is extremely financially taxing especially in todays economy.
