Momo

Momo is a 2 year old Mix-Breed in Campbell, CA, who needs $2,000 for Abdominal Surgery to Remove Objects.

Campbell, CA

Momo was caught on the streets and brought to the shelter. I responded to an ask for emergency foster and picked her up along with her babies which unfortunately passed away shortly. She has been living in an x-pen in my bedroom with food and water, and after a few weeks has been roaming around the room. She does hide but when you call her, she comes to you. Her favorite snack is blueberries. Momo needed her RHDV vaccines so we went to the vet. There a lump was found, and we did x-rays and an ultra sound. It turns out there are 4 and they are due to worms. Although she is happily eating etc, this can get worse easily and an extraction is needed. There is also the cost of the dewormer and biopsy This procedure will happen at Happy Valley Pet Hospital in Campbell, CA with Dr. Cheung. Momo and my cat Mika are a funny pair. From the beginning, Momo never was scared and the cat was the one that was confused and starting from a distance. But now, they keep each other company, and Momo will push the cat over with her nose if she is not happy. Momo likes to listen to the radio, and flops when she hears music. She knows her name and will come looking for me when called. I have had very little income in the last 2 years due to a health issue and needing to get treatments. It's been rough. However, Momo deserves treatment. She has suffered enough living on the streets and finally is getting some rest. I urgently need the financial support.

Berloiz "Bean" Natto

Berloiz "Bean" Natto is a 4 year old Mix-Breed in Gainesville, TX, who needs $1,600 for Pneumonia Therapy, IV Therapy, Nebulization.

Gainesville, TX

Bean was a small, dirty and emaciated kitten when found in an apartment complex parking lot. When he and his human, Alex, met, Bean jumped right into the car and said let's go! Since then, he has been the best Uncle and cared for & nurtured many other rescue kittens. He got his name because no matter what fancy, fun name I tried to give him, he only responded to little Bean. In June, Bean was found unmoving on the floor of his apt. Rushed to the ER, they said he had urinary blockage. Unfortunately, only min. medical services were affordable. He didn't improve much, & was back in the ER a month later this time w/ pneumonia. Initially he responded to antibiotics, but now his breathing issues have started to come back. He is in need of complete care to get well! He's a quite, calm cat, who is the glue of the family, always knowing who needs what, and providing a calming presence. He is not only my little soul mate, he's my fur kid and I have a stronger bond with him than any cat I have ever had. It's heartbreaking to see his breathing difficulties and knowing I'm failing him... I just needed to try to find some way to help him! After two ER visits, all savings were depleted. The emergency also came during a brief time of unemployment, & funds were tight already. As a result I wasn't able to get his full treatment, & he's just not getting better. He is my soul, and I just want to give him a chance!

Ladybug

Ladybug is a 12 month old Mix-Breed in Richmond, VA, who needs $2,000 for Tracheal Stent.

Richmond, VA

Ladybug came into my life 12 years ago. At the time I didn't think I had the time or space for another dog. Boy did she prove me wrong! I was so busy with work, and I had just adopted Princess Buttercup 3years prior. A friend asked if I could take her in because pets were not allowed in her new apartment. I didn't want her to be sent to a shelter, so I adopted her. She's been an absolute joy. It seemed out of nowhere she developed a cough. then it got worse. I took her to the vet and she was diagnosed with a mild case of collapsed trachea. Started treating her with cough meds, those helped some. I took her to a specialist for a stunt consultation. I was told at the time because she was so active and it was a mild ca she wasn't a candidate for surgery. Unfortunately she's gotten worse. Since adopting Ladybug, she has been an absolute joy and the biggest pick me up in my time of need. I've battled many chronic health issues over the years, and she's kept me going. She's super independent, spunky but very loving. She's the smallest and oldest of all my dogs but she keeps everyone in line then makes sure to check on me and cuddle. I don't know what I would do without her. I've battled M.S, Breast Cancer, P.E, Covid and now a permanent foot injury. I am disabled. My savings are gone. Watching Ladybug struggle is heartbreaking, but I don't have the funds for vet care. She's always made sure I was ok. I love her. PLEASE HELP US.

Photo of Tucker

Tucker

Tucker is a 5 year old Mix-Breed in Altoona, , who needs $2,000 for Addisons Disease, GI Tract Disorder& Hospitalization.

Altoona

Tucker has been a “Momma’s” boy since the day she laid eyes on him. He came from a farm and was severely malnourished and had been part of overbreeding due to the growing amount of people who were looking for golden doodle puppies. He’s grown to be the sweetest and most loving boy ever. Tucker became suddenly lethargic and did not want to walk. He cried loudly in pain. The nearest vet was over an hour away in the middle of the night. They’ve found he has Addisons disease along with a chronic IBS GI tract disorder. It took many tests and diagnostics to begin to stabilize him for proper treatment hospitalized with round the clock care at Metzgars Animal Hospital State College PA. He immediately became attached and bonded to our newest members of the family, one who has autism and is non verbal. He has became very much a support dog emotionally and physically for my nephew. We have seen a significant increase in development over a short period of time. Tucker has been my emotional support for years and continues to do the same for others in our family. He’s truly special. 7 weeks ago we took emergency foster care custody of two children in our family ages 4 and 8. This was unexpected and has been a big adjustment for our family especially financially trying to provide for 2 additional children who had no clothing or shoes upon arrival.
