Dart

Dart is a 5 year old Mix-Breed in Denton, TX, who needs $2,000 for Chest Surgery.

Denton, TX

Dart was rescued from the attic of the Boys & Girls Club of Dallas. He was about 4 mnths, 1 lb, & terrified. He and our cat, Mulder, started playing and as Dart watched Mulder interact with us, he also slowly began to trust us. He's been an absolute love bug ever since! He also likes to play with our Border Collie-Corgi, Reno, and he's respectful of the old man of the house, Houdini (my 18y cat). Despite his rough start, Dart grew into a beefy, healthy cat! Unfortunately, it is believed that some foxtail grass awns have worked their way into his lungs causing a build-up of infected, puss-like fluid in his chest cavity. Where the fluid is located requires surgery in order for antibiotics to result in successful recovery. He started at Denton County Animal ER & is now at MedVet - Dallas. Dart literally darts around the house. He's fond of parkouring up the walls of the hallway. He loves intensely; you cannot pet him too hard; soft pets are not for him. His favorite place to hang out is a dark cubby above the TV where he appears as just a pair of eyes. As a new person, you do have to earn his trust but once you have it, he's just a sweet love bug! He brings me peace and joy. What is going on with him was difficult to track down and therefore it's already been quite expensive. At $20k (credit now maxed out) we're looking at an additional $15k - $25k for surgery and recovery. Without surgery, recovery is unlikely.

Riley

Riley is a 12 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Port Richey, FL, who needs $2,000 for CHOP Chemotherapy.

Port Richey, FL

I got Riley when she was just a tiny baby, from my uncle and aunt back in 2013, she was meant to be my fathers dog but i fell in love with her right away, she has been my beautiful girl ever since, her and I are inseparable and i would not want it any other way.. Riley is so playful and full of life, she makes all my life so much better. Riley was diagnosed with Chronic lymphocytic leukemia on Wednesday May 14, 2024, I would love to continue doing chemo, but with the expense of how much it cost I know i will not be able to afford doing all 19 weeks... she is still so full of life and I would love her to live the rest of her years as healthy as the rest of them have been.. at Fetch Specialty & Emergency Veterinary Center Riley is special to me and all of my family members, she loves to play with her favorite brown bunny squeaky toy, swim with my siblings, dad, and I, & plays with my parents dogs bruno and kenji, she has a sassy personality, and talks back if you talk to her, i love it. Riley has been with me since i was 17, she spends most of her time being sweet and cuddly with me everywhere i go With rileys treatment plan, after her having a toe surgery last month i have no emergency funds available.. it was very unexpected for these to happen back to back.. to have riley healthy again with no worries about the cancer would mean everything to me, she is my soul dog.

Luka

Luka is a 9 month old American Longhair in Marydel, DE, who needs $2,000 for Mass Removal.

Marydel, DE

We rescued Luka from a shelter when he was 14 weeks old. We were looking for a new addition to our family for months, when we found out the local shelter had recieved a liter of beautiful orange babies in we went the same day. While looking at each adorable kitten Luka couldn’t stop following us around and playing with the shelter employees shoe strings. He stole our hearts right away Luka has had a bloated extended abdomen on and off since adopting him. We initially thought it was worms we followed the treatment as recommended. Time continued and it didn’t get better we then decided to take him in for a check up not expecting the vet to diagnose him with a fatty mass between his liver and kidneys 😔. Unsure if it’s cancer we’re going to blue pearl for further testing. Luka loves to plays fetch, he did it on his own one day while we were playing with one of his feather toys. We threw it across the room and to our surprise he ran over grabbed it in his mouth then brought it back. His favorite morning routine is to wait in front of our door for us to give him pets/cuddles. Then he will sit in front of the window to sing to his bird friends. This is such a shock to us being that Luka is not a year old yet. He is still so young and loves life, he runs and plays with his dog sisters as if he is a healthy boy. I experienced job loss not to long ago making this situation so much harder. We want to give him a chance

Tuni

Tuni is a 8 year old Mix-Breed in Lansdale , PA, who needs $2,000 for Dental Treatment.

Lansdale, PA

Petunia was chosen by her now owner, Rosemarie, after her previous owner had to unfortunately give her and her sisters up after a divorce. Showing only love, Petunia has been with her new family for about a year and loves every second of it. Fixes up her mattes and giving her wet food, Rosemarie has transformed Petunia from rough around the edges, to all silky smooth (matching her soft character). On April 25, 2025, Petunia was very sluggish, wouldn't eat, and stayed in her cage. Rosemarie rushed to Hickory Veterinary and Specialty Hospital in Plymouth Meeting, PA, one of the only places that had walk ins available at that time. We found out Tuni had a high white cell count and dental pain that she needs to get treated. Petunia (Tuni) has been an emotional support animal for Rosemarie and her child, Shae, since they met her. Whenever Tuni's not sleeping or eating, she's always snuggling. She wraps her paws around anyone's arm and latches on until she decides not to. She demands to be loved at all hours and hates to see Rosemarie leave for work. Tuni loves snuggles, sleeping on pillows, or just to be pet by anyone Due to mental illness and living on low-income, any big expense is impossible to cover alone. Tuni is an integral part of the family and gives Rosemarie a reason to wake up in the morning. Using your help, we can pay off Tuni's vet visit and the future dentist visits.

Photo of Gracie Mae

Gracie Mae

Gracie Mae is a 4 year old Mix-Breed in Ruffin, SC, who needs $2,000 for Continued Blood Transfusions and Tests for IMHA.

Ruffin, SC

Gracie was a mangy, feral puppy found on the streets. She was trapped by a local dog rescue. We adopted her and our tiny puppy made a huge transformation into a beautiful dog. You can imagine our heartbreak when an allergy injection turned her immune system haywire. Gracie's own immune system is killing off her red blood cells. She has been diagnosed with IMHA, Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia. Gracie received her Cytopoint injection on March 15. By April 25, we were rushing her to an ER vet for an emergency transfusion. She has been diagnosed with IMHA. Without treatment, she will die. She had a second blood transfusion along with a multitude of other tests. She gets full CBC panels run weekly and daily immunosuppressants. This is curible and can go into remission with treatment. Gracie is Paula's lifeline providing emotional support and love. You might say they are joined at the hip. If you are looking for Gracie, you only need to go as far as Paula's arms. Gracie also gives us hours of pleasure in the backyard playing fetch. That dog is ball obsessed. At night, it's not enough to be in bed with us. She has to be physically under the covers touching one of us. Paula is on disability and Lila is a retired classroom teacher. We also run a nonprofit sanctuary for birds of prey. Lila is often on the road providing free programs for schools. We have also opened our doors to numerous farm animals in need of rescue.
