Cheza

Cheza is a 11 year old Mix-Breed in Mastic Beach , NY, who needs $2,000 for ACL TLPO Repair.

Mastic Beach, NY

She’s been by my side through everything. Now, I need your help to be there for her. Hi, my name is Stacey, and I’m reaching out because my beloved dog, Cheza, is facing one of the hardest battles of her life—a torn ACL that has left her in constant pain and unable to move like she used to. For over 11 years, Cheza has been more than just a dog—she has been my rock, my comfort, my protector. The Devastating Diagnosis: A Torn ACL & Unbearable Pain A few weeks ago, I started noticing that Cheza was limping and having trouble putting weight on one of her back legs. At first, I hoped it was just a minor strain, something that rest and time would heal. But instead of getting better, it got worse. Cheza has been part of my life since she was a tiny puppy, full of energy and curiosity. From the moment I brought her home, she attached herself to me like a shadow. She has been my constant source of joy, always greeting me at the door with her wagging tail, always curling up beside me when I’ve had a bad day, always reminding me that no matter what life throws at me, I am never alone. The best chance for Cheza to live a pain-free, happy life again is surgery, which can cost anywhere from $5,000–$7,000 per knee, depending on the severity of the tear and the recovery care she will need. This is far beyond what I can afford, and I feel utterly helpless.

Jobi

Jobi is a 5 year old Yorkshire Terrier in Huachuca City, AZ, who needs $2,000 for Diagnostic MRI.

Huachuca City, AZ

Jobi came to us as a gift from my ex-husband to the kids on Valentine’s Day 2020. We named her Jobi because, at the time, we were studying the Book of Job as a family. Less than six months later, our lives were completely upended due to my ex-husband’s terrible actions, which led to his imprisonment. Through the transition Jobi provided emotional support and care for me and my kids. obi had no medical issues until March 7, when we left home for two hours and returned to find her unable to move her hind legs. We rushed her to the emergency vet, where X-rays, lab work, and an exam revealed no clear cause. The vet suspected a spinal or nerve issue and recommended an MRI—which is costly—and possibly surgery. She’s now on crate rest with steroids, but we are desperate for answers. Jobi has an incredible bond with my children, from singing “Happy Birthday” to them to waking them up each morning with our special “Time for School” song. She is especially close to my daughter, who adores animals and dreams of becoming a vet. Losing our 15yo Lab/Dane, Dudley, last month was heartbreaking, and now facing Jobi’s health struggles makes this even more devastating for our family. As a single mother, surviving only on a teacher salary and no additional income, my finances are stretched thin. Jobi’s love and presence brought comfort through loss, offering unwavering support and healing in hard times and we aren’t ready to see her quality of life suffer
