Gracie

Gracie is a 15 year old Dachshund in Las vegas, NV, who needs $2,000 for Physical Therapy and Chemotherapy.

Las vegas, NV

Gracie was a blessing in disguise. Little did I know I need her as much as she needed me. My daughter said the fluffy one that looked like a teddy bear was the one. Gracie went home with us her new mom and dad. She went everywhere with us. If she couldn’t go in somewhere I waited in the truck with her. We had daily talks about everything. She became my most important little person. Dr Nick took some x-rays. Sent them stat to a radiologist to read. Both Dr Nick and the radiologist agreed on the x-rays and said my Gracie girl needed to see a specialist. Dr Nick sent Gracie and I to Las Vegas Veterinary Specialty Center. I went to the specialty. That’s when I found out Gracie had bone cancer and her hind leg needed to be amputated followed by chemotherapy. She loves to play games her favorite is to get me to follow her around in chase. At nap times she likes to burrow herself into the blankets but her favorite spot is at the top of my head in my pillow. She has had two sister kitties she adores and loves playing with and antagonizing. She loves to play games her favorite is to get me to follow her around in chase. She sleeps right above my head. I said as soon as I got the money I would call but instead I I sold something things took the money down and paid her surgery deposit. She will need physical therapy and chemo.

Beans

Beans is a 1-year-old Domestic Shorthair in Fresno, CA, who needs $1,000 for FHO Surgery.

Fresno, CA

Beans was an abandoned kitten. I took him in and he is now my baby boy. He is an indoor/outdoor kitty. He has 2 cat siblings and 2 dog siblings. He is a sweet, lovable cat. He loves to sleep by my head and he has the loudest purr. He is still just a baby and I want to give him a long, happy life. All of my animals are rescues. I cannot leave an animal in need. Beans loves to sleep on my head or under the covers. He loves his scratching posts and chasing his cat siblings. He annoys them just like a little brother. He loves to sit in the backyard and soak up the sun. He is lovable and sweet. His favorite toy is his older cat brother. He is always terrorizing him. He is scared to death of the automatic litter box. Every time it goes off, he runs for cover, even after he uses it. He likes to stalk the other animals. I have to check under the recliner before I sit down, because he hides up under it. He loves to sniff and touch my 8 month old grand baby. He will lay by her when she is on the floor playing. Beans came in one night limping on his back leg. When I tried to see what happened, he hissed and growled at me. He is very guarded with it. I took him to the vet and found out, he broke his femur from his hip joint. He needs FHO surgery as soon as possible or he will be forever in pain or lose his leg. He is still a baby. He has a whole life ahead of him. I do not make a lot of money. The vet bill is more than I can handle alone. I have tried to take out loans and get help, but my credit is not good. If Beans cannot get this surgery, I will have to put him to sleep. I do not want him to suffer but my options are limited.

Chic Filet

Chic Filet is a 2-year-old DSH in St. Cloud, FL, who needs $1,800 for urinary blockage.

St Cloud, FL • Helping Paws Humane Society

CHICKFILET came into my life 2 years ago, walking around my house spraying my doors and fighting with the other community cats. I decided to do TNR. When he was trapped, he was very aggressive and mad. After that I released him close to my house, and he ran away. A month later, he started to come to eat but hid from us. Little by little he started to trust us. Every single day when I opened the sliding door, he was waiting for his food and water. After eating he leaves and comes back for lunch and dinner. During the storms and fireworks, we let him come into the house because he was afraid of the noise. He never fought with my 2 indoor cats; he was always reverent with my cats. Chic filet came into my life during my pregnancy. My son learned to touch him gently, and was not scared. Now, I’m not working, and I have the big responsibility to pay the invoice for all that the vet did trying to save Chic filet’s life. In the past when ChickFilet has had a wound or injury we have provided for his vet care. Last week he came to eat and he could not walk. He didn’t eat, and he was unable to urinate. We brought him to the vet, and he had urinary blockage. After the procedure, he stayed in the clinic 5 days with IV fluids and antibiotics. He was not able to recover. My husband chose the name because Chic filet because his appearance is like a little cow. One day he started to come inside to the front door. He stays for a little time with us, playing with a catnip mouse, and then he just desires to go out again. This is our routine every single day, but we enjoy care for him and keep him safe.

The McGhee 6

The McGhee 6 is a 2 month old American Shorthair in Vidalia, GA, who needs $500 for Treatment for severe eye infections/enucleation.

Vidalia, GA • Sweet Onion Kitten Club

Today, they're finally beginning to play, explore, and discover what it means to feel safe. But just a few weeks ago, Roro, Livvy, Joey, Eli, Issac, and Maddie, lovingly dubbed The McGhee 6 by Sweet Onion Kitten Club, were simply trying to survive. The six kittens came from a home with a large cat colony where they had little to no human contact. Terrified, painfully sick, and victims of heartbreaking neglect, they arrived in rescue completely feral and in desperate need of help. What happened to their eyes was entirely preventable. They developed severe upper respiratory infections, essentially a "kitty cold," that caused thick discharge to seal their eyes shut. When a kitten's eyes can't drain, pressure builds as infection spreads, causing the eyes to swell until they rupture. All these babies needed was someone to care enough to gently clean their faces and keep their eyes draining while they recovered from their colds. Instead, they suffered in silence until the damage became irreversible. The damage has affected each kitten differently. Sweet Maddie appears to be completely blind. The others seem to be able to see at least shadows, offering hope that they still have some vision despite everything they've endured. Issac's eyes remain cloudy but are otherwise looking healthy, while Joey is still being closely monitored as his veterinary team watches to see how his eyes continue to heal. After just 10 days of antibiotics, gentle face washes, regular meals, clean bedding, and countless prayers, the transformation began. Their appetites returned, the infections started responding to treatment, and tiny bursts of playful energy began appearing on the kitten cam. For the first time, each kitten's unique personality started to shine through as they learned that people could be trusted. It's been about three weeks since they were rescued, and they've made incredible progress. The latest update has brought a glimmer of hope. Thanks to the dedicated care they've received, their eyes are looking better than expected, and their veterinary team has decided to hold off on surgery for now. While this is wonderful news, they're not out of the woods yet. The damage to their eyes is still significant, and surgery may still become necessary if their condition changes. For now, the McGhee 6 will continue receiving the specialized veterinary care, medications, and close monitoring they need as their team works to give them the very best chance of healing. Their rescue has already poured countless hours, endless compassion, and significant medical care into saving these little lives. They transformed six frightened, suffering kittens into babies who are finally learning to play, explore, and trust. Every day, the kitten cam captures little bursts of zoomies and curiosity that simply didn't exist when they first arrived. Those precious moments are proof that these babies are finally beginning to feel like kittens. Even though surgery has been postponed, their medical journey is far from over. Ongoing veterinary visits, medications, and specialized care continue to add up, and the possibility of future surgeries still remains. Every donation helps ensure that Roro, Livvy, Maddie, Joey, Eli, and Issac can continue receiving the treatment they need, no matter what comes next. Your support gives these once forgotten kittens the opportunity to leave pain behind, continue healing, and one day find the loving homes they've always deserved. Please consider making a donation today and helping the McGhee 6 continue their incredible journey from surviving to truly living.

Chloe

Chloe is a 15 year old Mix-Breed in Sanford, , who needs $2,671 for Mass Removal Surgery and Biopsy.

Sanford

Chloe, our beloved 15-year-old rescue cat, came into our lives after my daughter Sheilah found her lost during a terrible thunderstorm as a kitten. She has been a loving part of our family ever since and is now our only remaining pet. Recently, Chloe developed a bleeding tumor on her stomach. Our vet says it could be breast cancer or benign, but it must be removed and tested. Chloe has recently developed this bleeding mass on her stomach. We brought her to our Veterinarian at Lakeside Animal Hospital in Cameron, NC. We initially tried a round of antibiotics which hasn't helped. The price for the surgeryto remove this mass and get it tested is $2,691.27. My daughter Sheilah and I are doing everything we can to save our beloved Chloe. We hope youcan help us! Chloe is a lover. She welcomes all friends to our home. She will talk to us when we're all together and over the phone when one of us is away. She is such a sweetheart, everyone falls in love with her. She certainly doesn't act her age, even our Vet asked if she knows she's 15! We would be lost without her, she's such an intregal part of our family. We are forever grateful for your help! I'm on a fixed income and have recently had some unexpected expenses. To resolve these, I'm refinancing our home. This takes time and we don't know if Chloe has this much time left, without this surgery. We know she'll come through this surgery and be well again!

Lina

Lina is a 8 year old Mix-Breed in Tryon, NC, who needs $1,500 for Emergency Tooth Extraction.

Tryon, NC

I adopted Lina during COVID after a chance shelter visit—it felt meant to be. She was shy but curled into my lap within minutes, and I knew she was mine. I’ve had her 7 years, and she’s my soul dog. She’s grown so much from her timid beginnings and is now incredibly loving, loyal, and never leaves my side. Her name was originally Dina but Lina was more fitting ❤️ About two years ago, Lina had a panic episode and tried to escape, breaking a canine that cost $1,500 to remove. It was scary, but I did everything I could for her. I crate trained her for safety, and she’s been okay—until yesterday. She panicked again and broke another canine, the hardest tooth to remove. You can see the severity in the attached video. She needs urgent surgery, and I need help. Even after all these years, Lina greets me like it’s the best moment of her life—whether I’ve been gone 5 minutes or 4 hours. She’s so vocal, happy, and full of love. I’ve been through so much, and she’s been by my side through it all—even when I almost lost my life. I truly don’t know what I’d do without her. I love her more than anything. This past year has been really hard—my home was destroyed during Hurricane Helene, I had to move in with my mom, and work in the restaurant industry has been slow. I don’t have anyone to turn to and can’t cover my dog’s surgery on my own.
