Dixon *AKA* Pigpen

Dixon *AKA* Pigpen is a 9 year old Sphynx in Elkton, MD, who needs $2,000 for Pleural Effusion, Echocardiogram, O2 Chamber.

Elkton, MD

We got Dixon (AKA Pigpen) and his brother Mason as a package deal from a breeder in GA, after the passing of my first Sphynx, Smeagol. That's where my love for this breed started. We have had Pigpen for almost nine years, and he has five other four-legged siblings who keep us busy. Pigpen is the calmest cat of the bunch.emergency veterinary clinic with our sweet boy, Dixon (AKA Pig Pen), due to fl Had to rush Pigpen to blue pearl ER vet hospital, due to fluid accumulation in his lungs and around his heart, making it hard for him to breathe. They have him in an oxygen chamber and will perform a fluid drainage procedure and administer Lasix to alleviate the fluid buildup. A cardiologist will evaluate his condition and conduct a heart scan and Pleural effusion. Pigpen is my husband's emotional support animal. My husband is a retired Army vet, and Pigpen knows when he's stressed and is by his side. Pigpen and his brother, Mason, are best friends, and he has been close to Mason since he was a kitten. He loves to be held and cuddled. He jumps on your back and loves a piggy back ride. He runs to greet all our guests. We lost my father-in-law & mother-in-law & have been dealing with lawyers and their estates' back taxes on two properties, as they were not together. The passing of another family pet and her medical bills are still being paid.On going meds for our 10y cat nyx with asthma.

Jax

Jax is a 11 year old Shih Tzu in Arlington Heights, IL, who needs $2,000 for Dental Cleaning & Pre-op Labs.

Arlington Heights, IL

Here's our story. Jax came to us at the tender age of 6 weeks old. He's always been around his other sibling whom we sadly had to euthanize 2yrs ago. Our hearts were broken, and our bond became stronger. Jax is now 11yrs old and has been in good health up until a few weeks ago that we noticed he chipped a molar. We monitored his eating habits, and we didn't notice anything major. A couple of days ago I noticed that he kept whining. We checked his mouth and noticed that the tooth he chipped was now loose. So, we took him in to see the vet over at Thrive Plus to see if he had an infection. Unfortunately they informed us that he needs a major dental cleaning which may require tooth extraction/s and the estimate continued to grow. All I could afford was the visit and pain med. My Jax has been by my side during my 2 battles with cancer and I feel absolutely horrible that I cannot afford to have this done for him right away. He can't talk and let me know exactly what his pain level is. He's considered a senior but he's still our puppy. He's so smart and knows he's the cutest. He's so loving and adorable and brightens our day. He's my shadow and my companion. I love him! I am on a fixed income which makes it difficult to pay for a surgery all at once. I'm hoping that you can donate a couple of dollars to help me pay for this. I want Jax to not be in pain:( I don't know what else to do. God bless you all!
