Kobe

Kobe is a 4 year old American Shorthair in Winston-Salem, NC, who needs $2,000 for Diagnosis and Treatment.

Winston-Salem, NC

I rescued Kobe 4 years ago from the humane society. I was just going to look at they told me there was a kitten that was really sick and alone. I met Kobe, nursed him back to health with the medicine they provided and he's been with me for 4 years. His Birthday is January 31st, and mine is the January 21st so it connected me to him instantly. He is well taken care of and loved on a lot. It seems like Kobes respiratory problems he had as a baby have come back in a devastating way. As of yesterday 1.26.25 Kobe has been having difficulty breathing. Since yesterday morning. I've been up since yesterday morning comforting and watching him. He won't let me out of his sight as he struggles to breath and I'm not ketting him out of mine. I can't afford veterinary care right now. Kobe is special to me because I got him during a period of covid quarantine. So we were locked in together from day one, literally and figuratively. He's a support animal for me in many ways. I lost my father to covid and recently my mother to cologne cancer and Kobe is the only real family I have here in NC. He's my baby. My son. Watching him suffer is destroying me. It would mean the world to me if you could see the love I have for Kobe. His pictures are only a small percentage of the adorableness he exudes throughout the home. I am currently working part time and barely keeping up with rent, car notes and other expenses

This is my sweet baby boy bear. He wàs born Feb 12,2019 in my home at 4 am and was the runt of the litter. We also have both of his brothers. We currently just moved and I've been trying to get a job for 2 months. But with my wife being sick in and out of the hospital for surgeries and the lack of work it has been difficult to pay for my boys vet bills. We are in a bad financial spot. This is more of an emergency. My sweet boy was diagnosed with thyroid issues last year he's been real skinny and the doctors are concerned he might have cancer since that is what his momma passed from. Since yesterday he has been lethargic having bad diarrhea and tonight the diarrhea stuck and had blood in it. I want to take him to the vet hospital but I can't he's my service animal for my disabil He's a talker and most of all he's so sweet he gives us kisses all the times and shows us we are loved and is a big one for cuddles! He loves to play with his brothers and his human siblings but also takes his job as my service animal seriously and has been trained to deal with my disabilities. His favorite toy is a rope and he is fascinated by bubbles and lights. He also loves watching tv This is a sudden medical expense and I have no funds. Currently I am a student and we recently moved out of state with my previous job only to get here and be laid off. I have applied everywhere and havent has any call backs and even gone in person to apply.i want my baby bo
